I'm Almedina. I'm foreign, and I'm pretty much ready to handle whatever life throws at me. Ha, pretty random that I go from being foreign to life,but anyways. I've had this column for about two yearsnow, and I don't update it as I should, or want to but with school and this crazy teenage life of mine, it gets pretty hard to do so. I've been giving advice to all my friends since I can remember and I love trying to help them. I'm out going and extrememly loud once you get to know me. I'm usually shy at first unless I've gotten to know you. I don't understand life sometimes. But I've got my whole life to figure out the meaning of it. I'm selfish at times, and stubborn. I care too much about things I shouldn't and not enough about the MOST important things in my life. I'm very annoyed with people at times, and tend to just block everyone out. I'm afraid to say I'm in love, but I'm not afraid of love itself. I'm myself and that's all I can be. I've gone through a lot, so I'm willing to help in whatever way I can (:

youve probably seen this question but ill post it again to show you that im really not gonna give up about my situation.

skin pigmentation: EDP (erythema dyschromicum perstans)

i will do whatever it takes to get this skin pigmentation out of me. [description: its like gray spots all over body mostly around torso] i dont know any treatments or what caused it. not even any dermatologist ive been to. do you any good ones? i dont care about the money. i mean i cannot live my whole life like this not knowing what to do or just give up and stop researching and trying new things, had this for a year and a half and i cant take it any longer. this is my story im so jealous of the other girls my age, its summer time and they get to wear bikinis and clothes w/ no sleeves while i feel like i always have to hide my body. ima person who always "lookED" good and that boosts up my confidence around people. now that i have alla these spots all over me, i feel like im losing friends and people stare at me all the time and tease me. srry about my long story, i mean theres a lot more to say but youre probably tired of reading. i just hope i can get something out of people. maybe they have what i have to or if they dont maybe they can help me even if theyre strangers, it really means a lot to me, my parents who help me a lot are not enough. they dont even know how to use the internet and research stuff about so im asking you people if you could help me. IM really BEGGING. i dont wanna live with gray spots all over my body.. please do what you can to help me it means a lot to me.... thanks in adavance

I'm so sorry it basically took me FOREVER to get back to you on your question, but even after some research I tried, there's really no way I can help you. Try going to your doctor to see how you can get rid of the spots, because I'm sure you won't have them ALL your life, but I'm not positive. You don't have to hide your body. Don't let the spots take over your life. Your body is how you make it. So if you feel gorgeous in your own skin, that's how people will see you as well. & I'm sure you are gorgeous, and I know the littlest things can make you think twice but don't let it. how much of a tip should i give the lady who waxes my eyebrows as well as my sister's? she's doing both of ours today & my mom isn't home to tell me (she's in another time zone & it's to early to call her to ask what she normally gives).

I usually give about $2 dollars. It's not that big of a deal actually. About two or three dollars would be fine.

okay, so one of my girl friends ex boyfriennd and i have always got along really well. we laugh and have a good time. and just like through everything i guess i started liking him. him and one of my friends had dated for a while but theyve been broken up for like 3 months. we have been hanging out lately but she doesnt really know about it. i still feel kinda guilty though.. i dont even know why. she doesnt like him anymore but naturally shes still a little protective.. is it wrong to like him? and possibly go out?

It's not wrong to like him or go out with him, because you can't really control whom you decide to like. Going out with this boy, may cause you and your friend to not be as close anymore. Some people see it as if " if he's on the market, he's anyones" but yet it is your friend's boyfriend. And also it could also result in a happy ending. A few of my friend's have gone out with my ex-boyfriend's ; and I was fine with it. So it all depends on the friend. She may be fine with it, but you really want to make sure. But if she's fine with it, go for it. [:

how come some ppls ratings dont show on their columns? do they have a paid account and cusotmize their own layout

It's probably because they haven't been rated enough to show the average rating.

i have braces and had them for about 2 years now top and bottem.

i want my top teeth stright and alighned (all is going well) exept i have a small gap in between my front teeth that wassnt there before (at least i dont think it was) ive noticed it for like 2 months now mabie...
and i think its cute and unigue and i like it its not big its just really small. and i want it there, i always admired models with a small gap in thier teeth. =] and i want mine to stay that way i always felt a model doesnt need perfection and i too want to be a model and will want it there.
and i dont want the braces to fix it eather.
even if i dont become a model.

is there anyway to tell my orthadontest that i want to keep the small gap?
is there anyway i can keep my braces to help alighn my other teeth and keep the small gap between my fron teeth

some people might think its wierd but it looks cute on me and i like it.

Just tell your ortho that you actually like the gap, & ask them not to bring your teeth closer together anymore from that point. They might object because it is after all your parent's money and they might not want to be paying a lot of money for a gap. But talk to your parents first, & maybe they can just tell your ortho for you.

I don't get the "Greatest Team You've Never Heard Of..." What's it all about?

Since you didn't give specifics on what you're trying to ask about, most people won't know what you're talking about. But try to google it ? And it could just be a title that is meant to be comprehended into many different ways.

What you wear really doesn't matter on your hair style, lol. Just print that picture out, & give it to your stylist and say that you'd like that sort of hair cut, & I'm sure she will do it as close as she can do that.

My freshman orientation is coming up next month, and I just moved to a new town so I don't , so I'm not sure what to wear. I pretty much shop at Hollister, American Eagle, those kind of places.

My freshmen orientation I wore, shorts, & a t-shirt. No one really dressed up because I mean what's the point? You wanna save your cute outfits for the first week ;] ++ I didn't even know we were taking pictures that day so I had my hair up ! Just find out if you're taking pictures that day, if you are wear like a cute top, or two tank tops, & like denim shorts or capris. If not just dress comfy. [:

Yes there is. Usually when people say yes to an invite it's because they like the company of that person. So there is a possibility that he likes you because if he didn't, he wouldn't of said yes. & Also most couples who have broken up, don't want to hang out with each other.

Yeah, you can go back out with your ex. Why wouldn't you be able to ? You could start talking to him again, & start from there. That's how relationships begin - through communication and hanging out with each other.

No you're parents won't know who you have been texting. I have a cousin who lives in Oregon, & I live in Missouri and it doesn't cost extra. And I've also texted someone in Europe, so you'll be fine.

Plus you have unlimited so, there will defiantly be no extra charge.

I'm 17, and 110 lbs. I am not very fat at all..except my stomach! I find myself constantly sucking it, and even then, it doesn't help! I have inches and inches of fat on my stomach that I can not wear tight knits bc it shows my tummy too much. I've been working out for months..but nothing helps! I do lots of cardio..and still, no weight loss. Any advice?

Oh gosh, you're just LIKE ME. But here's some advice I'm trying to follow myself.
- Don't drink soda. Water is best.
- Eat three to five SMALL meals a day.
- Eat small snacks, two per day, because that way your metabolism will work faster because you aren't going to be starving yourself to the next meal.
- Run at least three times a week, or more, after dinner.
- Try avoiding foods in lots of fats, light is the way to go ! [:

My mom told me that if you do sit ups, & other ab workouts, you're just going to build muscle on top of the fat causing it to never really disappear so cutting back on fats would be the first step, I guess. Good luck [:

I have dark blonde hair with three different shades of blonde highlights and its angled and layered and its like a little above my boobs. Basically my hair is a light-ish brown with blondish highlights. It's was originally cut a little past my shoulders but it grew since, & it was in layers all over. I've always had side bangs, but those are really cute with layered hair. So to get the same hair color or somewhat close to what I have, you'd have to dye your hair a light brown and just get blonde highlights, and if they are too light for you where the REALLY stand out, get them toned down a little. Okay, i want to change my name on facebook to my full name.

I'm wondering if i do change my name, do i get untagged in all of my pictures [over 1000!]

The other girl who answered this is wrong. I've changed my name on facebook plenty of times, & all my tags were still there. Whatever you do to your facebook name, it automatically tags along all the other things you have under that facebook account. So yes you can change your name, & not have to worry about your pictures being untagged , or you having to tag yourself. That would just be bizarre.

my boyfriend is moving very soon. and i think it would be cute if he bought me a promise ring promising that we will be faithful to eachother while we are so far away. how would i hint it to him without actually saying it?

You could mention it slightly while talking to him, or you could mention it to one of your friends that is friends with him as well, & they could "suggest" it to him.
