Alrighty... I'm going to ask you guys for your opinion of this situation I am in. My parents aren't close.... At all. They're basically room mates, and not even anymore since my dad JUST got this taveling job. This is like his 2nd month. Anyway, my parents have always faught. Since I could remember. I remember being like 7 and having to tell my crying brother and sister that mommy and daddy are okay, they're just a little mad at eachother. Ya know? So the fighting doenst bother me at all anymore... Kinda annoying... But doesn't bother me. Well, my mom does love my dad. But my dad rather be a jerk to her at times. Really bad. My mom is so emotionally wrecked but this its nuts. My mom and I are very close... Very. She tells me EVERYTHING. So.. Im going to get to my problem thing. It goes back to when i was like 9 (I'm now 14)... My dad was away on business for about a month or so, and my mom had an affair. The thing was she told me right then, and there. Which I totally respect because not very many parents can be that truthful. My siblings were too young to even get what an affair was so she just told me until my sister was old enough. Anyway, I saw the way he treated my mom for that month or so... and I thought... Hey she's happy. You all have no idea the stuff that my dad puts my mom through. But I was kind of uncomfortable. I wouldn't talk to her lover. I don't remember if he knew I knew. But he always wondered why I wasnt as close ti him as my bro and sis. But we moved away. And my mom talked about him for a while and still does here and there. So it was back to my mom, and my dad... Fighting, arguing, and unhappy. For a while. My mom became super depressed. And even I, for sometimes she'd vent by expressing her thoughts and feelings with me. So I was kind of upset. But dude, I'm like 14... Kind of hard to understand all the way. But yeah... So my dad took this travel job, and my mom has always, always, always been suspocous of him cheating... (lol hmm)... Anyway, My mom has this friend here. And I always thought something was between them... But my mom ALWAYS told me they were just friends. Until tonight he came over (my dads away), But he told my mom the kids had to be in bed. My mom knew I was up... She just told me to be quiet while he was here. Sooo... They talked and stuff and after he left my mom wanted to talk to me. And we talked about me for a while then we talked about her and her friend. She was telling me how her friend made her so happy and that he noticed my mom lost alot of weight, but my dad never said anything... And things that her friend did that my dad doesnt... So I was like... Okay... she's just looking for a friend. It's cool it makes her happy. And then she told me about an argument my dad and her had before he left about how my dad treats her, and how she was going to have sex with someone new. And my mom told me how she was taking about it with my sister. And yeah put 2 and 2 together... So I don't know what to do, or even what to think. I'm kinda immune to like getting mad about it.. I just don't think I like him... But I want to know everyones oppinion or what you think I should do. I mean I bet you're like.. wow.. you should go on jerry springer... lol, no, but really... I dunno why they don't devorce. My mom does care about my dad so much but I guess shes sick of the hurt and abuse.... LOL hmm yeah... What do you all think?

My parents have been divorced for several years now and until about a year ago I've had a good relationship with both of them. I live with my mom and I used to see my dad every second weekend. Then about two years ago he got re-married. At first things were going good and then she got pregnant and my step-sister was born just before Christmas. I spent last Christmas with them and that was the last time I've seen my dad. I don't know what happened but all of a sudden he just stopped calling me. I used to try and call him but he never answered the phone or was too busy to see me. So I've basically given up. It's gotten to the point the point I don't even want to see him anymore because I really feel like he doesn't care. Everyone tells me I need to re-establish a relationship with him, and I've been thinking about it, but he acts like he doesn't want to see me. What should I do?

i am a freshman going into higschool, and i have a problem w/ this girl going into 11th grade whos 2 years older than me. well back in middle school we were on the same bus, and she was really mean to me. she would SCREAM mean things to me in front of EVERYONE, like saying im ugly and stuff, and she would take my schoolbag and dump it all over the place, and she would pour soda on me.. it was humiliating.. she used to threaten to beat me up when i got off the bus, and she would have people come up to me and say shit to me. LAST YEAR I TOLD MY MOM AND SHE WENT TO THE SCHOOL AND TOLD OUR PRINCIPLE AND MADE IT WORSE CAUSE THE GIRL ONLY HARASSED ME MORE AND MORE AND PEOPLE MADE FUN OF ME... well now were gonna be on the same bus again, and i wanna know how to handle the situation. if shes yelling at me on the bus, should i say something back? ignore her? ask her if we can talk it out? or ask her why she's doing this since i didnt do anything to her?... i dont want to make her even more mad, because then she'll be worse to me. tell me how to handle it, but dont tell me to call the cops or anything, i wanna know what to do... im REALLY SCARED.. thanks

this past week i went on vaca with my friends and 2 of our guy friends happened to be staying in the same town as us. we hung out with them like every night. one of the guys there was the guy i liked(lets call him jon). one night down at the beach we were all laying on a blanket and i was laying next to jon and after like 15 minutes he was like "can i put my arm around you?"..so obv. i said yes. the next night after walking around the beach we all layed down on the blanket again and me and jon ended up next to each other and for a while i was just laying on his arm cuz it was well...just there. after a while my friend reached over and put his hand on mine..well a few minutes later we ended up just cuddling and holding each other and the rest of our friends left. the night was great but the problem is i dont think he kjnows i like him A LOT and i know he doesnt like me...i like him so much and i doubt that night meant anything to him and now im just confused and dont know what to do

Hello =) I am 5'7 and 100 pounds, high metabolism - and sometimes I get called anorexic. But, it honestly doesn't matter what people think. Just tell them that you aren't anorexic, and leave it at that. There probably isn't anything you can do to gain wieght either, since your metabolism is fast. Okay my friend (well call him -IB-) asked me out in May and i told our friend (well call her -AN-) and she didnt believe me so she asked him if we were and I had forgotten about it until yesterday and i asked her what he said and she said that -IB- said that he did not know that we were and shes like "but he said also that he was messed up today so maybe u r" he is grounded and he has been so whenever he calls me he has to sneak it like when his parents are gone...I start school tomorrow and I dont know how i am going to find out before school starts but i can live with that part i just want to know how i can find out if we are going out or not and i dont know how or what i am going to say to him to find out what or if i should have someone else do it or what i really need help so please help me
