ok i have this guy friend,john, well john knows A LOT about me and we've been friends since like may, or something but anyways, he knows things about me that my friends that i've had since headstart and kindergarten dont even know! and hes like really hot and he has a girl friend and all but me and him are REALLY good friends, and anyways, the other day in class the was i was standing i could look at him and he wouldnt know, but im pretty sure i seen him checking me out, i mean he like looked at me from head to toe.. and he knows i think hes cute and all. and then today i was talking to him about his girlfriend and i asked him if he thought they'd be together for awhile and hes just like "yeah a long time" and i was just like oh cuz that was not the answer i wanted to hear, but i didnt tell him that, and then i said something about him flirting with other girls {meaning me cuz he "flirtz" with me all the time}and hes like idont flirt with other people and i go yeah you do and i was like u can flirt with people and not realize it and hes like no i know when and who i flirt with and like im starting to think i have absoluetly no chance with him now.. i dont know..what do you think i should do? oh and this morning he said i should go to church with him sumtime!! PLZ HELP!!! im 14, female

I think this guy just wants to be friends. Also, if he really liked you he would dump his gf for you. But sometimes guys say there not flirting when they are! So just forget about it and be friends until he breaks up with his girlfriend!

Ok i ALWAYS brush my hair after i get out of the shower when i dont brush it its wavy/curly and tangled but then after i comb it its STRAIGHT!! and then i try and scrunch it and it never works i dunno why but anyways my hair is kinda long about down to my back and thick so can you tell me what to use and how to scrunch it? thanks!

Usually with long hair it is harder to scrunch your hair. You could put layers in it so its easyer to scrunch.

A friend of mine has recently put on some extra weight, yet she continues to wear the same clothes that are obviously to small for her. While in her bathing suit she said she didn't understand why it was so small, and that it must have shrunk. I don't know if she realizes the truth or if she is in denial.

I am her good friend, should I tell her the truth of what I am thinking, and if so how do I do it without hurting her feelings?

Tell her what you are thinking but in a nice way. Like saying Maybe you put on a little weight. Im sure she wants to hear the truth even if its bad.

hi i got my carltidge peirced like a little over a month ago and its kinda sore and theres a bump over the hole. is that normal?

I have my cartilage peirced too! Its normal to have a bump over the hole bc i've had mine for a year and its still there. And its normal to be sore still too because its healing. hope I helped!!

I'm 13/f with long blonde hair. I'm getting my hair highlighted (a lighter blonde) in a few days and i was just wondering is it really really bad for your hair? Can highlighting it do permenant damage? I'm not sure if i still want it highlighted if it's gunna ruin my hair.

Hightlighting your hair will make your hair dry for a week or so. But if you have good conditioner then your hair will go back to normal. If you are not sure if you have a good conditioner you can ask your hair dresser and she can give you the right kind. Hope I helped!

OK this relates to the other questions ive asked. I'm really shy around girls and its hard for me to not studder when i talk to a girl. I get all sweaty and clammy when i have to talk to a girl i like. My mind goes blank and i cant think what to say. Got any pointers on how to fix this?

When a senior guy is going for a freshmen then its obvious that he is after one thing and thats sex. And if you know there is going to be drugs and sex there why go? You could get drunk and have sex without even knowing. Just watch what you do because you could get a bad rep.

Ok, I am 15 and so is my boyfreind and we have been going out for a month and I trust him but I always have the fact that he's known as a player in the back of my mind. I really like him don't get me wrong, and he's as sweet as can be even with his freinds around and everything, which makes me happy and he does make me happy, but lately it just seems like he might be cheating on me. This weekend for instance, I talked to him friday night n he told me 2 call him saturday after I got home from shopping and I called and he didn't call back until tonight when I called him. When he said that I just started thinking something might be up. What do you think?...

I like this guy that I have been friends with...but we weren't close friends before..but now when we talk...it's like we both see something different. Here are some situations that happened while we were talking...

Well we were talking yesterday online for a real long time. He was sayin how the convo was so fun..n he wanted us to rate each other.....and he gave me a 10! he said im really hot and that i have a great personality..he said that once he comes back from vacation he really wants to see me right away
We made this plan after talkin about stuff

im real sore from swimteam so he said he would give me a massage.....

This guy ain't flirting. He likes you!!!! And he seems like the sweetest guy! you should deff. go out with him. Also, you should ask your friend if she likes him. When I was about 14 or 15 yrs old.. I dated this kid.... I wont mention a name.. and then we had broken up because he was more expierenced then me and wanted someone who would have sex with him. Well after all this we still stayed friends.. Well then he moved to Florida with his dad for a while.. and then moved back here. and when he got back up here. He told me he had these feelings for me. and that he loved me and wanted to be with me forever. Well. I wasnt ready to be with him. I was unsure of my feelings for him and I told him i didnt know if i wanted to be with him after telling him i wanted to be. and we got in a huge fight and then about a month later I had talked to him and told him i really loved him and I wanted to work things out. but the only bad thing is. my parents really dislike him and they dont really have a reason to dislike him. I mean I'm 17 yrs old I should beable to date who i want. but they say not while i live in their house... What do I do? I really love this guy. :(

Do you really love this guy or are you just telling yourslef that because you know he loves you? If your parents really dislike this guy then he can't be very good for you. Your parents think you can do better and you can. Just tell this guy that you want to be friends!!Good luck.

Hey girl! Im headed to 9th grade too! What I do and this keeps me organized is get a folder and a binder for each class. And each class will be a color like English red. So when you look for it in your locker you just look for the red stuff. Also to keep your homework in one place get a homework folder. That should help!!
