xbrunettecutiex answered Wednesday August 25 2004, 1:32 pm: well naturel highlights means your hair is lighter in some spots than other. But try Sun-In its not as bad as it used to be. The last time I used it first I put my hair half up sprayed it with some water then sprayed the sun-in brushed it through then blowdried it. Then I let me hair down put water in it again then more sun-in and brushed it through then blow dryed. Lastly I put my hair in a high ponytail then sprayed underneath the ponyail with water and sun-in then dried it. I know its sounds like a lot of work but its really not it took me 15-20 mins. Also this is only if you want blonder hair all over and the brush make it look better too. drop some in my inbox if you have any more questions [ xbrunettecutiex's advice column | Ask xbrunettecutiex A Question ]

SleepingBeauty answered Monday August 23 2004, 4:46 pm: If your hair is blonde you can use lemon juice. It's not a drastic change and it won't make your hair lighter by considerable amount, but if you're going for subtle change and you have a couple of lemons around the house on a sunny day with nothing to do you can lighten it a little bit. Use 1/2 cup of water for each lemon squeezed. Then use a small paint brush (or a q-tip for smaller highlights) and put it on your hair in stripes. Be prepared to wear sunscreen while sitting outside so as not to get sunburned because it's about an hour of sun time for each shade lighter you want to go. And you may have to re-apply it every two hours depending on your hair type. [ SleepingBeauty's advice column | Ask SleepingBeauty A Question ]

VballRox1215 answered Monday August 23 2004, 9:56 am: Lemon Juice! ok so get your hair wet... either take a shower or jump in a pool. and then squeeze a lemon over your head near the roots of your hair. then take a brush and brush the juice through. sit in the sun and wait! *when your hair's dry make sure that you wash it or get it wet again otherwise it will be a total bug attraction* :) [ VballRox1215's advice column | Ask VballRox1215 A Question ]
mysticpixie05 answered Sunday August 22 2004, 11:11 pm: pick up little strands of hair and put lemon juice on them and sit in the sun for a whie. you may have to do this a few times depending on the darkness of your hair. they also make spray on stuff to use. or even some peroxide will work.
