SouthernBarbieGirl answered Monday August 9 2004, 1:46 pm: I have a friend who has/had the same problem! Gaining weight is sometimes as hard as loosing! The best thing to do is eat fatty foods (and no I dont mean ice cream. ha!) Eat things like patatos, meat, ect. Also another problem my friend faced was being flat chested and having no curves as well!! Well you can get a padded bra! Not too padded, just a lil so you have something poking out there! ha! Also when you try on jeans or shirts, look and see if they give you curves. You want your jeans tight around the thighs but flaring at the bottom! For shirts you want to wear a style that goes in at your stomach so you like you have something up top, t*shirts are great, ect! Hope this helped you! Good luck darlin. -*-Sonnie-*- [ SouthernBarbieGirl's advice column | Ask SouthernBarbieGirl A Question ]

TinahOfCourse answered Monday August 9 2004, 4:24 am: Haha. You're only 13 which means you're still growing. Girls usually stop growing when they're 18. So, dont worry about it too much. I'm sure you're always going to be skinny because it's your genes. Just be happy with yourself. :] [ TinahOfCourse's advice column | Ask TinahOfCourse A Question ]
ballerina04 answered Sunday August 8 2004, 8:52 pm: make sure you exercise enough. eat lots of proteins, vegetables, and whole grains.
if this doesn't work, maybe you are just naturally skinny. that's your body type. when people bring up the fact that you're so skinny, just change the subject, ignore them. you aren't anorexic, and their opinion doesn't matter. [ ballerina04's advice column | Ask ballerina04 A Question ]
rockchik41 answered Sunday August 8 2004, 8:08 pm: yeah, i think you are unhealthily skinny. the lowest weight for your height that is healthy is 108 pounds. try to eat a little bit more junk food (that's the cool part!), but don't gorge yourself. and do exercises that build up your muscles. you'll be heavier, but not fatter, and you won't look so tiny. SammyPie answered Sunday August 8 2004, 8:05 pm: You and I are unfortunately in the same situation. My weight goes throughout 95-100 off and on. I dance and my metabolism is extremely high. What I do to help me keep my weight on is I drink Ensure. This drink is high in protein and it keeps your body from losing a lot of needed nutrients for the day. It works (AND it tastes good.) Other than that, I haven't found any "cure" but if you find one let me know. =) Hope this helped. [ SammyPie's advice column | Ask SammyPie A Question ]
LilMia811 answered Sunday August 8 2004, 8:01 pm: you need to increase you eating habits and stop doing so many activities where you are very active. basically, sit around and be a couch potatoe and just chow down for a while. i bet if you do that, and then step on that scale you will have gained weight. you can also talk to your doctor about a specific vitamin you can take that will help you gain muscular growth. xXxpinky615xXx answered Sunday August 8 2004, 7:59 pm: wow you are really tiny! i'm 5'3" and i weigh 125 about... i don't think you need to gain pounds of FAT but you need to gain pounds of muscle... i have a really high metabolizsm but now it's beginning to slow down a bit... but for a while i was tall and extreamly skinny you could see my ribs poking out of me and everyone thought i had a disease or something. my only question to you is whether you've gotten your period or not... if you've gotten your period then you might want to see your doctor... if not then really there isn't much to worry about... i noticed that after i got my period i started gaining more weight and you couldn't see my ribs anymore... but i wasn't FAT i was still slim and i was at a healthy weight... if you need anything just IM me or Email me! hope i helped! TheKnightOwl answered Sunday August 8 2004, 7:58 pm: Exercise! The best way to put a little meat on your bones is to build muscle mass. Do some exercises that are meant to buil muscle rather than burn fat. This will atleast make you not so skinny. And you'll be able to kick butt. Good luck.

xO_sTePhIe_Ox answered Sunday August 8 2004, 7:53 pm: Hello =) I am 5'7 and 100 pounds, high metabolism - and sometimes I get called anorexic. But, it honestly doesn't matter what people think. Just tell them that you aren't anorexic, and leave it at that. There probably isn't anything you can do to gain wieght either, since your metabolism is fast. Be proud and thankful to be skinny :) I hope I helped :) If you need anything ... drop one in the inbox <3 Steph [ xO_sTePhIe_Ox's advice column | Ask xO_sTePhIe_Ox A Question ]
