When my girlfriend had a baby she took off a couple weeks after the baby was born. So I've been taking care of her by myself. Well my girlfriend called me and said that she needed money and that she's coming to take Lisa, our baby, and not to fight her on it because she has the right as her mother. I don't know what to do. I still care about her but I think she might be doing drugs again and I don't feel like our baby will be safe with her. I'm afraid that she'll just leave her like she did before except this time I won't be there to take care of her. Does she have the right to take Lisa or can stop her from taking her? If I can stop her how can I do that without causing a lot of stress for the both of us?

Jack you need to get a lawyer...thats the best thing i can tell you...if you get a lawyer and you present your case well you may have a good chance in getting to keep your daughter..the courts will look for what would be best for Lisa...and if your babys momma is doing drugs and stuff like that then they should see that you are fit to care for your daughter...but make sure you call a lawyer as soon as possible..dont wait on it...you need to take immediate action..and if you do suspect that Lisa's mother is doing drugs then if she does try to come take Lisa..you can call the lawyer and they can drug test her...you know how that stuff goes...best of luck hunnie...i hope she doesnt take your baby from you...you seem like a good daddy...keep up the good work...and fight for your child...it takes 2 people to make a baby and you were the only one responsible enough to stick around and care for the life you brought into the world..be proud of yourself and keep going...best of luck...let me know how everything works out

hunnie tampons are the best thing since sliced bread...no they dont hurt as long as you use the right size...dont use the realli big ones to start with...start on a light day and use the light ones...they make certain ones for teens and they are prolly the easiest ones to use so try those first...trust me hunnie...tampons are way better than pads n lines...you wont regret using them...just dont forget to change them...your not supposed to keep it in for more than 6hrs i think..just make sure you check regularly just the same as you would with a pad and line...good luck hunnie..

I know this is long but please don't skip it. Ok, me and my boyfriend have been going out for 3 years and we've known each other for 4. I just had a baby by him. He's willing to help and he's been trying but the problem is my parents. They are extremely religious and they said that he could have nothing to do with the baby. I was 16 at the time I got pregnant and he was 20. I am now almost 18 and he's 23. My parents said that if he got involved at all with Christian, our son, then they would have him arrested for rape. They said that the only way he can get involved is if he comes and asks for "my hand in marriage" We're not in love though and it's not right to marry someone just because your parents want you to. We know that we made a mistake but we are trying to be responsible about it. But my parents are making it difficult. My father is always at work and my mom is sick now so things are tough around here. I wanted to call my bf and see if he could take christian until things got better or maybe we could work something out but my dad flipped out and said that if i did he would have him arrested. They also took my keys and I had to listen to a lecture about jesus to get them back. They said that they would rather put Christian up for adoption than have him go to his father. My question is can my bf get arrested for rape even though it was a while ago and I dont' want him to be? And also if they put him up for adoption wouldn't his father get rights to him anyways?

my period is coming up real soon, and every single one of my friends have told me that tampons work wonders. you are not too young..i mean shit you do get your period so yea you obviously arent too young to use the things that keep that under control ya kno wut im sayin hunnie? ive used tampons the entire time ive had my period(well over a year)...tell your mom that summer is coming up and you dont want to have to sit back and watch when your friends go swimming...tampons make swimming possible for girls in the summer! talk to your mom again about it and if that doesnt work just go to the store and buy some yourself...and dont be scared or anything to buy them..its not a big deal you're a growing young woman..be proud babe...and if you realli arent comfortable buying your own tampons then talk to your friends about getting you some or one of your friends's moms...im sure they would be willing to either buy you some or talk to your mom about it...best of luck babe..:)

I'm the one who's boyfriend killed himself and it was basically my fault. Well, I've been getting help with that, I'm in counseling and I've been starting to go to school a little bit, but I only go like 2 days a week. I still go to his grave everyday and cry and just talk to him as if he was there. I also go to his house every wednesday and friday night to have dinner with his family, and we talk about things. Anyways..Last sunday on mothers day, my best friend killed herself. She had been suicidal and getting help for a while, and had tried to commit suicide 6 times before that..and I guess this time she succeeded. I really dont know what to do anymore. All this stuff is just wayy too much for me. I have no idea how I'm going to pass school, I just..dont know what to do... :( (link)

see if your skool counselor can help set you up with online classes...i know people who have been through similar situations and were too emotional to sit in classrooms all day so they dont come for the whole day...only partial days...and then they go home and take classes online...that way they can keep up with their credits and still graduate with their classes...best of luck hunnie...and im sorry for your losses:(i hope everything gets better for you

I met Mary, 20 years old, about 10 months ago. We hit off and started dating. It’s been about 7 months now. Her family life is a complete mess. Her parents divorced a little over a year ago. Now, her mom hardly returns her calls and her dad quickly got re-married and now lives about 2 1/2 hours north of her. With his new life he rarely makes time for her either.
After dating for about 4 months, she visited her doctor. Her stomach was bothering her. The doctor discovered a cyst. She had tests done and that day she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer – stage one.
She refused to have a hysterectomy and started chemotherapy. After 3 weeks of chemo, its stage 3. The doctor tells her it’s terminal. She tells her dad. He asks her not tell anyone on his side of the family. Meanwhile, he never calls her to ask how she’s doing. As far as her mom goes – she hasn’t told her yet.
Three weeks ago, Mary’s doctor said she needed to stop chemo because her organs were swelling as a result of her diabetes. At this point the cancer had stopped spreading. Last week she blew off her doctor’s appointment because she needed to work to make rent. She was scheduled to restart chemo. Mary works full-time on her feet. She smokes and has a glass of wine now and then. None of which her doctor agrees with. So as a result, the cancer has started to spread again.
Watching her suffer has taken a lot out of me. More than half the week she sleeps at my apartment. And on cue in the evening her pains skyrocket. Lying in bed she twists and shakes until she passes out. All I can do is hold her. She wakes up and the pain goes another round or two until she finally falls asleep.
I don’t agree with how she’s handling her sickness. Missing doctor appointments, smoking, and drinking. Just the other day she was planning to go to the beach with friends. I told her she’s not suppose to go in the sun while on chemo; that’s when I found out she missed her doctors appointment earlier that day.
I want to be there for her, but as a friend. I do all I can so that she feels like a beautiful woman. But I might just have to just walk away. I feel like I need to do something to get her to take this illness more seriously. I’m frustrated.

i'm very sorry to hear that Mary has cancer. im personally not religious but my aunt who just read this is...and she says that she will pray for the both of you...best wishes....i dont kno what to really tell you...if you love her do not leave her...if you dont love her than you shouldnt be with her im guessing that you do realli love her...talk to her about taking her illness more seriously..tell her that she is scaring you when she misses doctors appointments and dismisses the doctors advice that could eventually save her life....im sorry i dont kno wut else to tell you...best of luck

you should bleach your hair first...that way the color that you dye it will cover your hair...it doesnt work when you just dye a lighter color over a darker color...make sense? just go get your hair bleached if you realli dont want to have black hair anymore...just be careful because bleaching your hair can ruin your hair...it will make it dry and fragile...greater chance of breakage...you dont want split ends and shit...it looks horrible...consider yourself lucky to have that black hair...i wish i had it naturally!!
