Do you really think i should let my very best friend in the world go out with a criminal in jail for drunk driving UNDERAGE who has a kid on the way? He has been given the opportunity many many times to prove himslef to me and my friend, and she doesnt understand why she likes him so much. She knows she shouldnt, but she cant really help herself. He shouldnt have been having sex with a girl he decided to ditch (therefore he is a deadbeat dad, or will be). He can't take care of his responsibilities as a father because he's in jail because he was irresponsible? i'm wonderiing why you think this guy deserves a chnce, because from what i know about him, he's a bad guy.

Thanks for your thoughts. I do love her but not in a boyfriend sort of way. And I guess that's how I've slowly discovered where I stand in that respect. Talking to her is tough, since she's tired or not feeling well most of the time. I'm a spiritual person. I've been doing yoga for about 9 months now and have tried to get her to meditate with me. Just to focus and be positive. I know this will help her and I don't plan I giving up. I know friends of hers who also do yoga. That's a side-door but if more than one person is suggesting it maybe it will sink in. Thanks again for your help. :)
