I'm the one who's boyfriend killed himself and it was basically my fault. Well, I've been getting help with that, I'm in counseling and I've been starting to go to school a little bit, but I only go like 2 days a week. I still go to his grave everyday and cry and just talk to him as if he was there. I also go to his house every wednesday and friday night to have dinner with his family, and we talk about things. Anyways..Last sunday on mothers day, my best friend killed herself. She had been suicidal and getting help for a while, and had tried to commit suicide 6 times before that..and I guess this time she succeeded. I really dont know what to do anymore. All this stuff is just wayy too much for me. I have no idea how I'm going to pass school, I just..dont know what to do... :(

First of all, I am so sorry that you're going through all of this. I wish I had more to say than this, but I know it's a very difficult thing--seeing friends die, especially when the cause was suicide.

Now, I don't know the circumstances, but I know that it wasn't entirely your fault that your boyfriend killed himself. He was the one that did the killing, so there had to have been a build-up of things that were wrong to drive him to that point. You are very brave, and very right to be visiting his parents. Being with others, especially those who were close to him is a very good idea at this point, and again, it is very brave of you to do so.

When it comes to school, I'm sure that your teachers will understand if you ask to do your work at home for a little while, considering what you're going through right now. Teachers generally have a lot of empathy and will work with you when it comes to this kind of situation.

My advice for you when it comes to how you're probably feeling right now is to talk to people--a counceler, a parent, a friend, someone you look up to, anyone. If you can't bring yourself to talk, you can also start a journal. Journals are a very good way of letting out your emotions when the going gets tough.

All in all, hang in there, things will get better. I give you my best of luck and love, and I hope you feel better eventually.

How is it your fault? And since it just happened to be ur best friend and boyfriend, I think they would want you to pass school so you can at least have the life they will never have. Stop pitying yourself and go back to school dammit.

anytime depression hits you, KEEP YOURSELF BUSY. don't let yourself think about it. find a person you enjoy being around who can make u think of something else. i've also had a friend commit suicide and many others try, i know how it feels. you're prolly feeling the lowest you could ever feel right now so just remember things WILL get better. for now, go do your favorite things, eat your favorite food, watch funny shows, do those simple things that cant temporarily make you happy and it might brighten you up a little bit.

Wow.. that sounds really tough. I don't know what i would do if something like that would happen to me. If any of my friends or boyfriends killed themselves..i would have like a mental brakedown. You just have to be strong in life. You can definatly get passed this. Just be strong and hold back tears to the point where your throat feels like it will explode. Dont YOU ever think of doing anything stupid. You have to prove you can be a leader and never be weak

see if your skool counselor can help set you up with online classes...i know people who have been through similar situations and were too emotional to sit in classrooms all day so they dont come for the whole day...only partial days...and then they go home and take classes online...that way they can keep up with their credits and still graduate with their classes...best of luck hunnie...and im sorry for your losses:(i hope everything gets better for you

Well, to make matters worse. You're not going to pass school. The cut time is almost over and redoing school seems to be your only option.

A way to avoid so much depression is stop getting weak/idiot/moronic/retarded/ingoramous/goat eating/kill myself cuz i dont get everything myways/

Type of friends.

6 tiems before that though? Damn, your friend is all of the above in what i mentionned. Shes so stupid she couldnt even kill herself the first 6 times she tried.


Dang shes dumb. Glad shes not wasting my co2 anymore.

Im really sorry for what happened. I wish nether of them would of commited suicide. You really cant let this bring you down again. Live as if it was normal. At least try to. If you let yourself down it wont help. If you dont think about it too much you will become stronger. You will always miss them and everything and crying is fine! One day it will be fine. Try to overcome the past and just think about the future and the good things in life. Dont do anything to harm yourself or even think about suicide. Be there for her family and also your boyfriends because now they really need you. They feel a lot worse so just be there for them. x0`

Hey! I can tell that you're feeling really mad, sad, and depressed right now. You are going through some really tough times. Your boyfriend and best friend killed themselves. Try talking to friends or family about how you feel. If you can't talk to them, talk to a counselor or social worker or someone like that. They can really help you. I know it will be hard for you to talk about it, but trust me it will make you feel better to get some of your anger and sadness out. Try making some new friends or getting a new boyfriend to get your mind off of it....but just remember you could never "replace" them.

I'm so sorry for your lost. Just live each day as a normal day because each day you will get stronger. This will make you stronger. Live for them as well for yourself. I've felt sucidal at one point in my life, but thats a whole other story. Just live and don't forget, but don't let it run your life. Hope I helped!
