don't worry.
this happens to everyone who colours their hair.
and the proper word is 'colour' or 'colored' instead of 'died' or 'dyed', my mom was a hair stylish.. people. yeah. HAHAH.
but, its perfectly normal, its cause the color its still coming out, it should go away after 3-5 days. :)

this is probably happeneing because you usually have to wait about ... 5 days before you wash your hair... it will come out if you wash it early

you should bleach your hair first...that way the color that you dye it will cover your hair...it doesnt work when you just dye a lighter color over a darker color...make sense? just go get your hair bleached if you realli dont want to have black hair anymore...just be careful because bleaching your hair can ruin your hair...it will make it dry and fragile...greater chance of breakage...you dont want split ends and shit...it looks horrible...consider yourself lucky to have that black hair...i wish i had it naturally!!

Karen answered Wednesday May 11 2005, 7:08 am:
Are you using a shampoo/conditioner for regular, normal hair? Try using one made for color treated hair such as "Vive" by Loreal Paris. Or when you dyed your hair, you didn't get all the dye out and now it's coming out. Next time, use a better brand of hair dye and this won't happen to you.

sweetXbeachbum answered Tuesday May 10 2005, 10:13 pm:
It probably wore off because you used a cheap hair dye, or your shampoo/conditioner is not good for your hair when it's colored. Try Pantene Pro-V or Garnier Fructis for Colored Hair. Also, try another hair dye because that one probably is cheap.

boxes make it seem like its the most amazig thing in the world! its not like its gunna say 'i am only good for one wash'.... maybe if you look at the ine print itll say something- but try a different kind of dye or just get it done at a salon!

You could of been using a cheap dye but plus you're never suppossed to wash your hair after dying it until the third day unless you wnat the color to fade. Shuree

Wowitzbrit answered Tuesday May 10 2005, 7:59 pm:
You most likely didn't get all of the dye out the first time, it happens to everyone just some people don't notice it. But its okay your hair color won't change at least not dramaticly.
