when i deactivate my account, that means nobody will be able to see my profile anymore? my profile doesnt exist right?

Correct. Anything you were tagged in is erased, and it just shows your name with no link to follow to a profile. It's ALMOST as if your profile never existed.

am going to start college in the fall and am going to dorm there. i was wondering if i can go and visit my family every day, will they let me?. am going to be in umass lowell.

The whole point of moving out is to move out. Sure, you can visit your parents, but you have to start being independent soon. Eventually you'll move out of your parents' house for good and have a house of your own. Might as well start getting used to it.

But like someone else said. You'll miss out on the college experience. You definitely shouldn't avoid visiting your family, but I would only go home once a month, or maybe once every two months.

I'm starting school in august and just want something easy to use with good battery life that is durable. All computers seem the same to me!! Just have to write papers and use the internet basically... And store music and pictures

I wouldn't get an iPad, like the first person said. It doesn't have a word processor. So, you wouldn't be able to type papers.

I would get a Mac. Matt is wrong, they aren't "thousands" of dollars more expensive. Students get a discount at the Apple Store on a macbook, and it's only $950 for the computer (that will last you a long time) and obviously you'd want to buy like Microsoft Office and a printer and a warranty on the laptop. Your total will be around $1300, but for double the price of a PC (about), your macbook will last you twice as long, if not more.

I have an HP laptop right now. And it's pretty good quality, but I've had it for not even 2 years and it's having problems. The fans make a lot of noise, it gets hot really quickly, the battery doesn't last for very long, and a few other things. I'm getting a mac for college because I know my current laptop won't last me more than another year or two.

A girl that is 5'4-5'5 too tall to wear heels? In middle school I was taller than most guys and I think ever since then I think of myself as "too tall" to wear heels. Im going away to college and I wanna dress a little bit more girly and I think wearing heels will be a big step up!.. Thanks!!

I'm not a girl, but my sister is like 5'9" or 5'8" and she wears heels. So.. no. You're not too tall.

ok so like this girl and she most likely likes me too and i think we could have a pretty good relationship but anyways we are only 15 and she has a baby do you think this would be a problem in the relationship

Uhm, yes. You are 15. You can't properly take care of a baby, and she will likely have you take care of the baby and that's probably not something you want to be involved in. If you're willing to make that sacrifice to be with the girl, well, I'd reconsider. You don't have the resources to take care of a child that isn't even yours.

Find a different girl.

ok so my mom wants to send me to a different school that i really dont want to go to.ive been fighting her to let me keep going to the same school but she is a good fighter so should i give up and go to the school i dont like or keep up the fight and go for what i want and think it will pay off in the end?

What's her reasoning? Is it just because? I would keep fighting. If you're happy in the school you go to, there's no reason to switch..?

hi i went somewhere yesterday and my parents didnt trust me for using drugs and stuff (i didnt though i didnt do anything back) but we were walking through the park and there was marijuana smoke like the smell of it .. since i smelled that if they wanted to have me tested would that show up in my system? i didnt smoke it i didnt inhale it, i just smelled the odor from it

It shouldn't show up, but explain to your parents what happened BEFORE the test, and if it doesn't show up, they know you were telling the truth.

It is like all of a sudden everyone I know is talking about how cold water washing literally saved their hair. So, I gave in and tried it now all I wanna know is how does cold water make hair shiney like this? What is the secret and how does everybody NOT know about this?

I will rate you I promise.

It doesn't.

http://shine.yahoo.com/event/hairguide/dont-be-fooled-by-these-hair-care-myths-2088813

Myth: Rinsing with ice-cold water after a shampoo will give you shinier hair.
Truth: It might wake you up, but a dousing of cold water will have no effect on the shininess of your tresses.

I lost my virginity to a guy, Guy A, i was with for a year. we broke up about 7 months ago & i don't regret him being my first.

After we broke up, I went out with this guy, Guy B, who basically pushed sex on me.. he was a virgin, and lost it to me as well. I went along with it because i figured after the first time having sex, its no big deal about who you do it with next. But we lasted probably 2 months and i regret it, me being the one he lost it to. we despise each other now and wish he wouldve waited for somebody else.

so for the last five to seven months, this other guy, Guy C, has always been there for me & made his way to be my best friend. weve been together for 3 months romantically, and he wants to lose it to me. We are so amazingly attached at the hip that i would normally think it's not a big deal.

But i made a mistake with Guy B, and I can't do that with Guy C who has treated me like the most important person in his life, which i am and vice versa.

I just sort of feel like crap. Guy C makes me feel a way ive never felt before, but he'd be my 3rd 'partner', sexually, while i already made a mistake with my 2nd. I dont want to make the same mistake again. he tells me it wont be a mistake, which i do understand but at the same time theres something in the back of my head that just feels bad, you know? I don't want him to just be my third, and i'm his first but he may regret me. should i just talk to him a bit more? ..

Yes. Talk to him more. If you aren't completely ready to have sex with him, don't. Nothing says you HAVE to right now, or even soon. Wait until the doubts you have go away, THAT is when you'll be ready.

Okay what I'm wondering is this whole BMI, I input everything an it says I'm obese! I uset to weight 231 pounds at 16 an now I'm 17 an lost over 50 pounds! So happy about that! I now weight 183 an I'm 17 years old 6 months, my height is 5'5 an I'm an endomorph. So....is it right what the BMI is saying that I'm over weight? I heard that it doesn't take in your body type or anything...so right now I'm a lil discouraged because I thought I was doing great for losing over 50 pounds in a year.... =( ...

BMI just takes into account your height and weight. It doesn't know that you lost 50 pounds. It doesn't know that you might still lose more.

Personally, I'm proud that you lost 50 pounds. That's incredible! I don't know that I could ever do that. Keep up the good work! =]

Hey everyone I just kinda want to vent because everyone on here has been really helpful lately =) gratz for them! But what I was going to post was if my boyfriend has been gone too long? He moved here to WI with me but his mom made him move back to PA...I feel down about that but he says he's coming back. So far its been about 2-3 months he said he would be back on august 24th...but lately I've been feeling like I don't talk to him at all =( he works at 8 a.m. but doesn't get him till 4 pm an after that he ends up being busy with helping the family or just really isn't on, the only way we can talk is through IM an phone. It just makes me kinda sad that I can only talk to him for a little or not even at all anymore =( ...I know your probably going to say talk to him but I like your guys opinion too =) feels nice letting others in too ^^

If you don't talk as much after he gets back, then something is wrong. Right now it's just hard for him to be able to stay in constant contact since you live far away. Yes, there's the internet and whatnot, but it gets tiring and cliche.

Try to mix it up in how you talk to him. Have you tried skyping?

Okay, I'm sure this title sounds weird. But it's really not bad. It's kinda gross, but I popped a zit on my back and I didn't know it started to bleed. So I put my boyfriend's shirt on that he gave me, and there's a small blood stain. Like really small, even a little smaller than a pencil eraser. But it dried by the time I noticed it. How can I get out a dry blood stain?

I agree with Tide-To-Go. I have one of those and it works wonders.

Also, have you tried actually washing the shirt? It should come out. Put detergent directly on the stain before putting it in the washer, and it should come out.

I know in this day that lots of people are HIV+ or have AIDS. I know they can lead decently healthy lives. Just, personally, I have never known an HIV positive person or someone suffering from AIDS, and, of course, I do not want something like this. It's just scary.

Yesterday I was at work and this new guy said something about getting AIDS tested the day before. He was talking to another guy from work that he's made friends with.

I am really feeling weird about this. I know HIV/AIDS has to be spread through blood or some sort of bodily fluids like that. I know I'm not going to just catch it from the air or just looking at him. I'm a bit uncomfortable though and I'm nervous. I won't ever know if the test says he's positive or not probably. I mean that's not something you go around screaming at work.

Should I look for another job? I'm serious about this making me uncomfortable. There isn't anything that can make me relaxed around this guy and I don't want my work to suffer because I'm too focused on him possibly having an STD. He does seem like a good guy apart from this possible problem so it's nothing "against" him. I've only been at the job for maybe 6 months so it isn't like I've been working there for years and years.

What would you do?
What should I do?

If it makes you that uncomfortable, you do what you have to do, but honestly, it in no way affects you. It isn't going to make him a grouchy co-worker or anything if he does have an STD.

Is it possible for someone to know that you visited their facebook page if you are not their friend?

No. Facebook doesn't have visitor trackers like mysapce supposedly did.

I drink alcohol occasionally when I go out with my friends. Everyone seems to be having a great time when we're drinking except me. I always feel really, really sad. It's weird because I could be having the best day of my life but when I start to drink I really get down and low about everything. I end up crying and really ruining the mood for everyone. I have decided not to really drink any more because of this but I'm curious why it happens. Does anyone know why alcohol changes my mood?

Just reiterating, alcohol is a depressant, so it making you sad makes sense. If it makes you sad, don't drink it, simple as that.

I am from Malaysia. Married with 4 kids. Age 40. Husband 47. I caught my husband 6 months after he was having an emotional relationship with one of his chat-mates. That person sent her photos which seems to be a mexican actress photos(not her real photos because i found out that she was from BENIN, west africa).I read some of her mail to my husband. I was extremely hurt and angry and i comfronted my husband. He appologised and told me that it was ended dec 2009.I have no choice but to accept but still hurt and couldnt forget what he had done. After that I secretly traced his working on the internet and found out that he already deleted all of the downloded site which link to the DATINGs site. I checked his mail and so far there are no suspicious email. The problem is he always goes outstation and i wont know whether he is faithful to me or not. Question is what should I do. Can I trust him. Pls advice.

Rgds

Personally I would be really skeptical had someone I trusted done something like this. Maybe he deleted everything because he felt ashamed and he wanted to delete all evidence so he could move on? You never know. If you're still having doubts, talk to him. If you simply can't bear it anymore, and you absolutely cannot trust him, then you know what to do.

I recently returned from a vacation in Mexico. I was on vacation with my family, not looking for anything, but I met a guy who changed everything. Thanks to his family we started talking, and we just instantly clicked. I normally do not look for anything on vacation, but I couldn't help myself. I have never felt this way about a guy, he is absolutely perfect. I live in Pennsylvania and he lives in Texas so we are about a 3 hour plane ride away. He said he'll visit me, and I know it's completely ridiculous, but he just seems like the one right now. Do you think it could work? Miracles happen, right?

It could work. But I would establish a good friendship before you even start to think about him being "the one". Get to know him more, there's probably a lot more to him than meets the eye.
