well my boyfriend is really sick! and he is in the hospitol and i am worried about him! and i want to go and see him and he hasn't told me that he is there cause he doesn't want me to see him like that and hes afraid that i won't like him cause hes sick! but his mom called and told me and in 3 days we would be going out for 3 months, so i was wondering if i should go see him then? and to tell him that i do care about him and i don't care if hes sick or not because i love him? soo just let me now wat u think and if its the right idea?
I can understand why he'd be embarrassed of you seeing him while he's laid up in a hospital bed. I'd be the same way. BUT, I think that deep down, I'd want my boyfriend to come visit me if I were sick. It shows how much you truly care about him, no matter what.

It sounds like you need to be pickier when it comes to guys. Don't just date someone because you're desperate. Wait and try to find a guy that you know will love you for you. Just try being friends at first. Don't just jump into things.

several years ago, I was best friends with this girl , we were each others confidant, and could tell anything to each other. The rest of the crowd really didn't matter if we were together. It was after a year of knowing her that I realized that I was absolutely in love with her. I didn't do anything at that point because I was in the middle of applying for school.
It's been a couple of years now, and I'm still in love with her. She went off to college in another state, and our lives have gone off in different directions. Her life has changed (she's popular, beautiful etc. which she wasn't in high school), so i don't talk to her anymore, but I still can't get her out of my mind. I haven't been able to date or even be interested in another girl- because I know that she was the one for me. Whatever you pick, make sure it's something that you won't get sick of and that will last a long time. Like, don't use your boyfriend's name or a line from your favorite song, because chances are, that boyfriend won't last forever, and that song will eventually get old.

Sometimes girls are just curious about what other girls' bodies look like, ya' know? They're just tryin' to make sure that their body looks like the other person's. It makes them feel normal.

does anyone have any tips on swallowing pills? i have to take some medium to large ones, and it's been hard for me to get them down. i can swallow small ones easy, its just those big ones. (no, i do not have a pill slicer.)

Get some water, put the pill in your mouth, get a HUGE sip of water so that you won't feel the pill, look up at the ceiling, and swallow. It works for me.

I'm supposed to go to the movies with a guy I've liked for awhile now, tomarrow. We've hung out before and stuff and we've make out and some other things and he told me he really liked me. So, on my birthday he asked me if I wanted to go to the movies with some of our friends and of corse I said yes.I went and it turned out he never went so my birthday kind of sucked. My dream has always and will always be to go to Stanford. I am a freshman, and so far have only one semister done. For my first semister, I got A's in all my classes. I am taking Honors English, Adv. Theater, Japanese I, Earth Systems, P.E., Computer Tech, and Geometry. For extra-curriculars I was on Shakespeare Team, and I am currently on Debate and Drama Team. I am also the secretary for the Drama Club. I am going to pick my classes soon, and I would like some advice on what kind of classes a college like Stanford would be looking for. I would also like to know any information on how to get in. I know I'm only a freshman, but I am definately going to college and Stanford is the only one I want to go to.
Hey!! I want to go to an awesome school like that too!!! And I'm definitely applying for Stanford. Okay, what I've heard so far (from guidance counselors at my school)....is that colleges like that look for:
-Extra science classes other than the required ones.
-Extra math. For example, at my school, you're only required to take math up to Algebra 3, but for a college like Stanford, you'd need to take harder stuff like Advanced Algebra/Trig., Pre Calc., AP Stat.... (....Yeah I know. Pain in the butt, buy hey. Ya' gotta' do what ya' gotta' do.)
-More than two years of a foreign language.
-Extra history and English/literature classes don't hurt either.
*Mainly, I think what I'm trying to say is that you need EXTRA, EXTRA, EXTRA stuff that'll make you stand out from other students applying for Stanford.
**Also, if at all possible, try honors or AP classes rather than on-level or informal classes. BUT, don't be in an honors/AP class for a subject that you're not good at. Like...Let's say you're bad at math. You'd want to take the "extra" classes that I was talking about before, but stay in an on-level class rather than honors, if that makes sense.
Just try to get the best grades possible in all your classes, and if you think you can still pull an A or a B in honors, then do it. If not, don't. Just try to avoid getting C's. And if you get a B, make sure it's in an honors class, not on level.
***Keep that GPA as high as possible.
****Keep up the extracurricular stuff, and do community service.
It sounds like you're on the right track so far, especially since you're only a freshman. Keep up the good work! You can do it!
-Oh, and as far as how to apply and stuff, talk to your guidance counselor at school. They'll explain everything you need to know about transcripts, resumes, all that good stuff...

Sorry hun, but it looks like you're gunna' have to make the first move. Just start out by surprising him with a huge hug one day, and then when you're walking together, just grab his hand and hold it. He should get the picture and not feel so shy about doing the same thing to you. Maybe he's just holding back because he's unsure of whether you want him to be touchy-feely with you or not. Do you really have to tell him anything??? You could always just not flirt with him anymore-or at least not as much- and not ever have to mention that one time you went a little bit overboard. I would only say something if he actually came out and said something to you or someone else about how it made him feel uncomfortable. And if that's the case, just go up to him and be like, "Hey, I'm sorry about the other day.....I was just feelin' a little over flirtatious..." Something like that. Alright, well I'm a 14/f and I'm not ugly( not in a conceited way at all, please) but I'm not the 'hottest girl at school'. I'm friends with many, but I just can't get a boyfriend. Yeah, since you have your doubts about him liking you back, you might not want to just come out and tell him you like him, because that could ruin the friendship. Instead, give him a chance to get to know you better. Ask him to hang out one day or go see a movie just as friends. (If he says yes, it might even mean that he already likes you a little! I mean, if he was absolutely repulsed by you, he'd say no, right?) So yeah, just hang out as friends for a lil' bit, then maybe slowly start flirting...And see if he returns the favor. Then from there you can do one of two things:
1) Wait for him to come out and say he likes you, or
2) Go ahead and ask him out yourself if you feel like he probably likes you back.

As long as he doesn't have another girlfriend or anything, the best way to do it is to just flat out tell the boy!!! Do it online if you're not feelin' confident enough to do it in a more direct way. Wow, dude, I was just in that EXACT situation...two weeks ago? I ended up going for the sweet guy that I talked to all the time. :) Just think about who you think would be best in a long term relationship, if that's what you're going for, and it sounds like you are because you said you don't like the fact that the first boy's longest relationship was only nine months.
