You confided something totally private to your best friend, and in return, she tells it? First things first are you 100% sure that she told it? Like maybe a chance that while you were telling her this someone overheard or yall were talking about it on the phone and someone picked up another phone line in her house? {have to make sure, best friends are hard to come by and not so easily replaced} If she is the one that told it, then I would invest my time in finding a new best friend.

I'm in my early twenties. I was raped as a teenager and never told my parents. Should I ever tell them? If they knew, they might be able to understand me better (I've got some psychological issues) but I don't want to upset them - if they knew, they'd be so so sad and would probably feel like it's their fault somehow. Is it worth it to tell them, or is this something that's best to keep from them?

Tell your parents! I understand what a strain you go through just mentally with dealing with this. They are your parents, and maybe after telling them you will be able to put that piece of your life to rest.

my son age 9 has had knee pain,where he can not straighten leg for 4 to 5 days.first it was down the front of his leg and muscle at back as well as his knee.now it is under his knee cap. he cant walk properly and it is constantly there.can anyone help me with what might be the cause.he says he hasnt banged it or hurt it.he does suffer from growing pains.should his knee still be hurting after 4 days where he cannot walk prop.

Sounds like it could be Osgood-Schlatter disease.... It is one of the most common causes of knee pain in young children. It causes swelling, pain and tenderness just below the knee, over the shin bone (also called the tibia). It occurs mostly in boys who are having a growth spurt during their pre-teen or teenage years. One or both knees may be affected.

*Osgood-Schlatter disease usually goes away with time. When your child stops growing, the pain and swelling should go away because the patellar tendons become much stronger. Only rarely does Osgood-Schlatter disease persist beyond the growing stage.*

OK.. I've asked this before.. but I need more help..

My shoes smell REALLY bad.. i've tried Odor Eaters.. perfume (3 kinds) and even dr. scholls foot powder stuff..
is there ANYTHING besides washing my shoes .. that will take care of the smell.

Im afraid if i put my shoes in the washer and dryer.. they might come apart.. ive had that happen before..

I just had to look this up on the internet, lol. I love questions that take some time and thought to answer instead of oh my boyfriend dumped me what do I do? lol....Ok, Here are some tips from ppl with the same problem.

*Spray heavily inside with Febreeze and allow to dry overnight. Works on my stinky old feet.

* I just read this in a magazine. Put sneakers in a plastic zip bag and put in freezer overnight.. it is supposed to kill the odors. I don't know if it works !

*Here's a remedy for smelly shoes. Fill a sock with kitty litter (made to absorb odor & wetness), sew or rubberband the end, and place in each shoe. Shoes should be fresher smelling and drier in a few hours.

*Place a sheet of Bounce fabric softener in your shoes overnight so they'll smell great in the morning.

Yes, you can wear colored contact lenses without having eye sight problems. I think there awesome, that have some really cool colors out that range from sea blue, to honey, to violet.

Do I have to get an eye exam before I can order colored contact lenses?

Well its my first year in college and I am like 500 miles from home and I only know 3 people up here at college. I have joined the softball team at my college and that has really been my only way off meeting people and all the girls on the team are really nice. My thing is, is that I would like to go and hang out with the girls on the team outside of practice and seeing them at school. But they seem to have their own little groups between them and me being a freshmen, I feel like they don't want me to hang out with them. They talk about going to parties and going out during practice but never tend to invite me, and I don't want to feel like a bug and invite myself or say anything about me coming along. But I am just getting sick of hanging out with the same 3 people everyday and night. I would like to have some other people to go and do things with instead of sitting in my room doing nothing. See my problem is, is that I am shy so I don't talk much while at practice or games so that might be why they don't invite me but thats just how I am for a while when meeting new people then after a while I open up. So what do you suggest that I do? Any advice would help. Thanks a bunch!

Open up! Instead of sitting around waiting for someone to invite you, why dont you invite these girls you want to hang with, to go do something? Worst thing that could happen? they say no....Oh well, just find other ppl that you would think were just as cool if not cooler, to hang out with. There is no need at your age to try to sexually classify your self to just one category....If your still attracted to girls, then dont forget about them just because you attraction to boys is more 'intense'...

hey .. i wrote a few days ago about my boyfriend that's in the hospital .. hes in intensive care for his head injury .. well, this is the update .. the doctors recently had to cut open his head and take a part of his brain out so that they can run tests and all or sumthin lyk that..(i still quite dont understand it) .. and then they will put it back in and all that ..and hes still in the drug induced coma.. but now that this has happened, all those people that said he'll be okay .... do you still feel that way??

The fact that you would think they would take someone's brain out...run a test on it and then stick it back in is a scarey thought.
