okay, i have knee problems as well. first of all, i'm wondering how your son is getting injured so much, but second of all a professional opinion is probably best! I had been playing sports all of my life and all of the sudden one day my knee started hurting. I ignored it for several months before it got so bad (pain under the knee cap and throughout the rest of the leg) that I finally set up an appointment with the doctor. It turns out i needed an MRI. I found out i had tendonitus and an effusion (build of of liquids under the knee cap, hitting nerves)... check and see if your son's medical plan covers MRI's and if it does, i think you should have it done as soon as possible. good luck ]
What are you waiting for lady!!.. BRING YOUR SON TO A DOCTOR.. The only reason knees should hutr THAT bad.. is if....... theyre in crucial sports.. and have been doing it for a long ass time.. youre son may have very bad problems with his knees now.. ]

OMG GIRL YOUR SON IS AT THE BEGINIGN OF PARALIZATION HELP DOCTOR!!!!!!! ]
Sounds like it could be Osgood-Schlatter disease.... It is one of the most common causes of knee pain in young children. It causes swelling, pain and tenderness just below the knee, over the shin bone (also called the tibia). It occurs mostly in boys who are having a growth spurt during their pre-teen or teenage years. One or both knees may be affected.
*Osgood-Schlatter disease usually goes away with time. When your child stops growing, the pain and swelling should go away because the patellar tendons become much stronger. Only rarely does Osgood-Schlatter disease persist beyond the growing stage.* ]
you should tell a doctor all this... ]
he might have artheritis or a serious desease that eats your inside. you should get him checked. hope i helped. best o' luck. ]
Hmm, im sorry i really don't know what that culd be. Maybe it is a torn ligament or he just bruised his knee internally somehow..or he may hae somethign wrong with his knee caps. I don't think him having OCD has to do with him not being able to walk..Defiantely take him to a doctor to be on the safe side and get things checked out, tell them wat u typed to us..Hope things get worked out soon :) ]
seek medical help...hope i helped

Well, maybe you should take him to a doctor. I mean, if its hurting him and he cant move it, this would be a good time to get it checked out before it gets any worse. My guess is its excess water in the knee-cap. But then again I am not a doctor. Just go get him checked out as soon as possible. I hope I helped!

hey i had those knee problems...i had to get my surgically fixed because i had a more servere case of this. You should take your son to a knee/leg specialist so they can examine his knee because eventually by the time he is older he will go crippled if it isnt fixed. ( atleast this is what my doctor told me) i dont think that it would have anything to do with his head or ocd.So if i was you id take him to a knee/leg specialist!

Hey i think ur son needs help other than..people on here..i mean obsessive compulsive disorder is where u have a habit u cant break..but i dont think the stitches could be part of that..i think he needs to be checked out from a specialist ..thats more qualified than some teenagers on the net..not to be biatchy or ne thing just stating facts..

No, the splitting open of his head had anything to do with it. Just take him the the hospital emergency room and have his knee x-rayed. It could very well be a possibility that is is part of his growing disorer. But you should still get it checked just to be on the safe side. ]
