My boyfriend got arrested but hes on probation and he has to be around a counselor. He told me he has a counselor because he broke a window. I thought you only have counselors around you if you had sex with a minor or rape?? Is he hiding something?

Every state is different. Call the non-emergency line for your police department. They should be able to tell you. :)

The difference between a college and university is that a university is made up of different colleges. For example, the John A. Smith education college at ABC University.

A community college is college, but pretty much anyone can get in. Many people go to a community college to bring up their grades before applying to a university. At a community college, you can only get your AA, or Associate's degree.

i heard that honey can do basically anything,including heal acne.is this true?

YES!

I just started using it. It's amazing.

What you do is put warm salt water on the spot, stick on a dab of honey, and let it sit for 15 min. Then wash it off. It draws out the dirt to the surface. I just squeeze out the dirt, but I'm impatient, and I wouldn't recommend doing that.

okay, well, im just gonna say it: im really popular at my school. i think im pretty, and so does everybody else. im not gonna go into detail. cuz you know how popular kids are. well, this girl at school thinks that shes better than us!! WE dont even have that attitude!! we dont talk about how rich we are, or whatever, we just like to have fun and hang out!! she is always like screaming through the hallways, "omg jenny, do you have my ipod and louis vuitton bag??!!" and everybody else can see that shes trying to impress us. but we dont know why. shes really slutty and only has a few friends. she moved into my neighborhood a few years ago, and i asked her to hang out with me and my friends. after she did and we went back to school in the fall, she felt like she had to impress us. why is this??!! because she always copying our websites and stuff and badmouths us!! she is soo annoying!!

Once you have a work permit, you can interview and get jobs and get paid. Period.

Depending on your state, you can get a workpermit at as young as 11.

okay, well, im only 13, but i know what i want to do when im older. i want to work for pop star magazine. no, not just because i'd get to meet celebs, though that wouldnt hurt, but i want to be a journalist and interiew people. do i have to go to college for that, and if so, what classes do i have to take?

Pop Star magazine isn't journalism; it's creative writing.

If you want to be a journalist, PLEASE don't be a superficial journalist who can't write about hard stories. Those people irk me.

You absolutely need to go to college for that. I'm sure if you had talent that you could land a job, but if you don't have the discipline to educate yourself, who would want you as an employee?

In college, you will probably take Journalism and English classes, among others.

My suggestion? Get a major that's a little broader. Maybe go with Communictions or English. This way, you'll have more options should your dream fall through.

I notice after 15 or so that there is a difference, but that's me and my petite self.

Also, squats make your butt get bigger...by a bunch.

I would say after 2 days, you should notice a big difference.

I have big boobs and a small waist. So I have a problem with buying shirts. They either don't fit over my boob and the shirt ends up looking short. Or they do fit over my boobs but its all saggy and too big around my waist.

Does anyone know any stores or styles that could help me out here?

Maybe try dressy, looser tops. Urban Outfitters usually has some, along with Charlotte Rusee, and of course, the internet.

My dad was in a bad car accident a few days ago and he's still in the hospital. The doctors say he's stable but he's in a...coma. Which I don't even understand because how can he be stable if he's in a coma?


Well I'm supposed to be moving out in like, 10 days because I'm starting college and I'm moving 4 hours away. The thing is though, I don't want to leave my mom and my sister if my dad isn't conscious by then. I don't know what to do because I'm so scared about my dad and I don't want to leave.


Classes don't start until the 30th but move in day is in 10 days. I don't have to move in by moving day but I know I have to be there by the first day of classes. I don't even know if I'm going to be able to pay attention during class knowing that my dad is in the hospital. I just don't know what to do, I'm so confused.

He can be in stable condition, which means that his health is not getting better or worse, but he is still in a coma.

Hopefully, he'll be better by when you have to leave. Can you come back after move in day and before classes?

I was making out with this girl the other night at a party and I guess she was pretty tossed since she freaking threw up in my MOUTH. Since then, I haven't been able to eat anything--because vomit is disgusting, and swallowing some of someone else's vomit grossed me out that much. Whenever I go to eat something I feel like throwing up myself so I can't eat. GaaaahhHhh what do I do?

Use mouth wash, get a new toothbrush, and move on with life.

17/f I already know what im going to do when i graduate. Im going to school in aruba where one of the main languages is dutch. i have dutch relatives also, so i really need to learn the language. would you recommend buying a book&tape to learn dutch? there are no classes around here or at my current highschool so thats kind of what i have to do. do the tapes really work? thanks

Yes, I would recommend buying a ook and tape.

Just so you know, some people learn visually (by seeing), some learn by hearing, and some learn kinesthetically (by touching). If you learn kinesthetically, books and tapes won't help you, but listning to them and writing everything out or reading and copying things will help you a lot.


It will take about 9 months to master all of the vocabulary and grammar, if not longer.

Spanish has a lot of cognates, and it is a 9-month course at my school. We learan to read, speak, and write basic Spanish in those 9 months. Dutch is a lot harder.

No, you don't.

You will have no life for a pretty long time. While all of your friends are out, you'll be home with the baby, or payig a bunch to a babysitter.

And if you don't do that, then you will dump the baby on your parents. They already raised yu. They do't want more kids.
