my boyfriend has a counselor
My boyfriend got arrested but hes on probation and he has to be around a counselor. He told me he has a counselor because he broke a window. I thought you only have counselors around you if you had sex with a minor or rape?? Is he hiding something?

You can get counseling for anything, really. It doesn't have to be because you rapped someone. That might not even be the case. Since he DID break a window, that could lead to him having an uncontrollable temper. If so, he's probably in counseling for anger management. ♥

yea he definently is. u cant be arrested for breaking a window. you probably would have to pay for it but thats a hole seperate thing. so yea he's lying

no you dont just have to see a counselor for rape. my friend is on probation for running away and she has to see a counselor. nothing to do with rape.

not nesserly. that isnt alwasy the case. i had a friend who had a probation officer / counselor
because she dtched class everyday and now if she ditches she goes to juevienlle hall. so it doesnt always ahve to be because of rape or sex.

nope.. i once had to go to conseling for something and it had nothing to do with sex or rape.. hes probably telling the trust because since he got arrested and is probably a minor he has to see a counselor and hes on probabtion

Every state is different. Call the non-emergency line for your police department. They should be able to tell you. :)
