I am actually planning to work for a magazine, and maybe even having a job like Atoosa from Seventeen. Well, I am starting college soon..in like ten days...and I am double majoring in Journalism and English.
After that, I am planning to move to New York to get my master's on both areas. Plus, all major magazines are there...so hopefully to get a job as well.

If you want to be a journalist, PLEASE don't be a superficial journalist who can't write about hard stories. Those people irk me.
You absolutely need to go to college for that. I'm sure if you had talent that you could land a job, but if you don't have the discipline to educate yourself, who would want you as an employee?
In college, you will probably take Journalism and English classes, among others.

I recommend getting into journalist/ AP English classes. Maybe even get on your schools newpaper to get more expierence.
Try applying to a college with great majors in Journalism. Most colleges have small majors in journalism too. While you're there, maybe that can direct you to a journalism internship. [ duudee_advicer's advice column | Ask duudee_advicer A Question ]
