My name is Melanie and I live in a little house in the middle of the street or what seems like it. My number one priority is to be the best I can be and that includes passing all my academic courses. I strive to do the impossible because I think its important to stand on your own two feet once in a while. You just depend upon yourself for support and guidance, no one else. I love laughing and making jokes. I spend 50% of the time reading books and going to the library. I have a lot of ambition to make it in the real world.

Would a college like straight A's and B's at a public school or B's and C's at a Private school better??
And do colleges like people who go to private schools better???

Colleges always look at the potential of students. If for example they see that in the first report from school you got Cs and Ds and then the next report card you got A's they can see that you really work hard to pull all of this up. And with a little more effort there are more possibilities. Also it doesn't matter if your from a private or public school.

OKay well im 14/f... lemme give you some backround... my dad has cancer and he gets chemo every other week.... its realli stressful... i have a nice house and a loveing family... but for a while now i have been a cutter... yes i know it pathetic... but i havent done it to often anymore... ive been thinking of suicide alot.like how i would do it... is this normal?? ive gotten to the point in my life were im not afriad to do it anymore.. like before i would have never gone through with it cause i was to scared.. i dont wanna get profeccional help.. i cant let my family know whats going on.. im just realli confused and i dont know what to do anymore..please help

Life doesn't give you second chances. I don't want you to kill yourself but are you sure this is what you want. I know how it feels because my grandpa died a few years ago and my grandma got a stroke like four years ago and she her left side is all paralyzed. I don't really think about killing myself because I see no point. I have tried to cut myself but I don't have enough guts to make myself bleed with a razor. I just want you to know that their are people willing to listen if you give them a chance. Don't go to a phsychologist because they'll be all up in your face all the time. Just breathe and live through each day. If you feel you can't make it talk to someone.

I need some advice. What would be a good Fashion School to go to in California? Also, I was wondering what I should study in. You have to learn how to sew. If you go to FIT for example you have to make an audition piece from scratch with your own hands. And that means you have to use a sewing machine and a needle with thread. If I were you I would be practising.

I'm in college. I pay attention in class and review my notes once after class and once every day. If I don't start studying for tests until 2 days before test day, what grades do you think I would get?

the perfect way to avoid any bad grades is to work your ass off day and night. If you don't know what that means i'm really sorry for you. But the only way to be the best is to work with the best you can. Don't kill yourself but I'm sure you shouldn't have a minute to relax either. If you don't understand something or you need help go to someone who does if you don't the load will pile up. No matter what stay organized and you will see success. Also don't ever give up just because you got a B- on your essay. This is just a test to see if you have what it takes.

Sry. You have to wait for high school to talk to your counselor. If you are ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE that you want to become a journalist for a magazine they'll let you know what classes you should talk. Yes of course you still have to go to college. Being a journalist or editor of a magazine is pretty tough and since a lot of people like to write you have to be the best.

Depends on the college or uni your going to. Don't worry about the money because their will always be funds and student loans and scholarships. Just think about the academics.

Okay a University is many buildings in different areas that are under the same name. For example Harvard has many locations. Harvard Law College is in Springfield while Harvard Med college is somewhere else.

A community college is a preliminary school that teaches you the basics. You don't really need to go to a community college but many people choose to go because their more confident. Its up to the person.

Most people understand things visually. So watch the news or the discovery channel or any other education channel you can find. Then pick up the daily newspaper and compare.

Use your head. If you want good grades that bad then I see nothing standing in your way. Research the problem, it might give you some tips. Nothing ever came easy so just work your butt off day and night and if you REALLY want it you'll see the changes.
