what kind of grades do you need to get into Boston University or NYU. mostly major in photography or journalism or mostly photojournalism.

A's mostly in Art, Photography if your taking it, Math and Science.

If you go to the websites of those colleges, they will usually have a list of requirements that tells you the average grade needed, and since you're looking into photography, it will probably tell you about what you need for your portfolio.

Just look for the websites with google:

Usually the information you're looking for would be under "admissions". If you can't find it, you could contact the college or talk to your high school guidance counselor.
