Private Vs. Public Would a college like straight A's and B's at a public school or B's and C's at a Private school better??
And do colleges like people who go to private schools better???
Thanks!

Colleges always look at the potential of students. If for example they see that in the first report from school you got Cs and Ds and then the next report card you got A's they can see that you really work hard to pull all of this up. And with a little more effort there are more possibilities. Also it doesn't matter if your from a private or public school. ]
Colleges look at letters and GPAs, not the calibre of the classes you took.
Trust me on this - as someone who went from a private school getting Cs and Bs to a public school getting straight As, the As are better.
The admissions people at the colleges don't have the time or the will to research a private school and find out how good it is. If your GPA is a 2.5 and you went to a really good private school, and someone else's GPA is a 3.0 and they went to a public school, they'll take the 3.0 student.
Yeah I know, long-winded answer to a short question, but I felt like explaining.

Most colleges will look at your grades, so it won't matter whether you went to private or public school. ]
