First off I'm 14 8th grade same with the guy im tlking about)Anyway here is the story: I met this amazing guy in october at a football game and have not spoken to him sence.(he goes to a different school)Yesterday during my class trip to hershey park I saw him and we hung out together the entire time. He diched all his firends and just hung out with me and my firends the entire time. I really like him but its really werid. He basicaly does all the talking, I can't ever think of anything to say, we go to different schools and that blocks some points of convesation. He is also extremly popular in his school and well in mine, im not. He wants me to go to the movies with him tomarrow but i think im gonna say no and go next weekend. I'm just really nervous, he might expect to make-out with me, I never even had my first kiss. I really don't want to make out with him...at least not yet. I'm really scared I dont even know how i will probley be really bad.Ugh I just don't know what to do I have to call him back to tell him I can't do anything this weekend and our phone calls are really acword and I like shake im so scared. lol I know I sound like a loser but im just a normal girl in love with a awesome popular kid and dosen't want to make a fool out of my self.

No no, sweetie! Dont turn down an opertunity , because you might not go again, and he's probably as nervous as you are! Dont stress over making out and stuff, if it happens it probably wont be "making out" it probably will be a peck on the cheek or on the lips, something very simple. Call him back and tell him you will go! It will all be okay! Who cares if hes popular, and who cares if you arent, seriously! It doesnt matter at all, if you have fun with him and he makes you feel good, go for it!

i wasn't exactly sure where to put this. i have a friend, who just happens to be a hermaphodite or however you spell/say that word. she/he is a boy and a girl. they have both parts. she just told a couple of her friends recently at camp, and it's fine with all of her friends, except the girl she likes. she doesn't believe that she's gay, because she told me she sees herself as more of a boy than a girl, or 80% 20% as she puts it. the girl that she likes has been avoiding her ever since my friend told her how she felt. now that i've explained that, my friend was asking me the other day what to do about it, and i didn't know what to tell her. so, i'm just asking, do you have any idea what she should do as in...coping with it i guess?

I think she should just forget about that girl, I mean if she doesnt accept her for who she is, then she shouldnt be with her. Just be with your friend and tell her that are always more people out there :)

On the last day of school (the 20th for me) my friend wants me to walk to Rita's Water Ice with her. It's only a few minutes away from school. My mom won't let me. How can I persaude her to let me go? I'll tell her i'll bring my cell phone, and the roads we're going on all have sidewalks, and she can pick me up when we're ready to leave.

Well your mom is just being a parent, you probably would do the same if you were a mother. But your not so you wouldnt know,
the truth is you are 13, so I'm guessing your what, 7th grade or 8th grade? I would just wait a little bit, and dont bug your mom about it, i know it seems like a small thing, but parents have their reasons.

But if you really want to go, be mature and ask her once more, and if she says no, just accept that as the asnwer.

I honestly think he likes you, just not for the right reasons. The fact that he just made moves on you and didnt take time to just talk, seems like he's more interested in your body.
I dont think it was a good move on your behalf to go into your bedroom in the first place either, theres so many things that could have happened. So be careful,
Are you sure you didnt feel lust, because it seems to me so far its just been physical.
If you want him to be your boyfriend though, you need to talk to him about it, in relationships communication is the key.

Okay so I am really athletic and I play soccer on a higher type of team and I always have practice and we have to do things like run 5 laps, and sprints.. things like that. So anyways, my hips are so large! my hipbones like stick out so much. I would think that exercise like that would make them thinner but no they are just the same. Please help on how to make them smaller, I RATE 5'S TO ALL!!

You cant really do anything about your hips, if your really athletic and stuff, and your in shape, thats good, but you cant do anything about your bones, if it were fatty around that, you could lose that weight, but if your bones stick out, theres nothing you can do really.
Just try to find clothes that maybe hide them?
Like people who want to lose weight to be like size zero, sometimes its not possible, because they are just big boned you know?

It was great, I go to a private school, so I dont know, but the person who wrote before me was right, it depends on the school.
See, the good parts are you meet TONS of new people! And make lots of new friends, you have new classes, new oppertunies to do things you havent, dont worry about it though. Usually your freshman year, they let you start before the sophmore,juniors, and seniors, so you can have the day to yourself ot find your way around, thats what my school did atleast.

Just as silly as this sounds, be nice to the uperclassman, dont be cocky, because they are older and some of them are really mean, but there are always mean people in each grade.
So just go with a good attitude and be excited, your freshman year will be a blast!

Well you can get it professionaly lightened, it costs like 35 dollars, and they strip your hair and it lightens it.
Or I think, you can put lemonjuice in your hair and sit in the sun, but I'm not sure that works.

tonight's my school's high school graduation and i'm going, because all my friends are seniors... i'm wondering, what am i suppose to wear? Can i like just wear jeans and a t-shirt (casual) or do i have to be semi-formal or what?? Does it matter since im only going to go watch my friends get their diplomas?

I would dress up a bit, because graduations are usually kind of fancy.
Like if you go to church, then church clothes, and if you dont wear a nice button up shirt and khakis, or if your agirl wear a skirt and a cute shirt. :)

Well I cant tell you when you will see results because its not that likely that you will.
You will probably be lighter, but you have to do other exercises to work your abs and stuff like that to see a difference, and to lose 20 pounds is a lot of weight, I cant tell you how long it will take either, since everyone's body is different, the best advice anyone can give you is to exercise and eat healthy.
Seriously, work out, eat healthy, and it doesnt matter how much you weigh if your healthy, since there is NO average weight, because no one knows what average is, since every body is different.

alright.
my friend met this guy. a couple of monthes later they got back in touch with each other. and she was talking about him non-stop about how much she likes him. well, this week they were planning on getting together again and hanging out. she had called him earlier in the week and they both decided to get together. well the "get together" day is today. she has called him twice and the first time the signal was busy and the second time it was the answering machine. and now the day is almost done and she's become really upset and in tears about this guy. i just can't find the words to comfort her. she's really upset about this guy and i need help on what to say.

My best friend used to mess around with my big brother back around New Years. I told them that I didn't care if they actually dated but they were just hooking up. They told me that they would like to actually date but it'd be hard because he lives an hour and half away. That is BS because he's home almost every weekend and my friend and I always drive that far to go to the galleria. I know my brother and he's an asshole to girls and he's with a new girl like every week it seems.


So, after a few weeks my friend promised that she wouldn't mess around with him anymore.


My brother is home for the summer and my cousin is staying with us for a few weeks as well. Well, last ngiht I wasn't home and out with a few friends. When I came home, my cousins told me that my friend was over at our house with my brother.


Now I don't know what to do or say becasue it just angers me so much. I LOVE my friend but we've talked about her going after my family members before and she PROMISED me (she's had a thing for my brother, cousins, and even my younger uncle...yeahhhh).


My brother and I are also really close but i HATE how he dos these t hings. What should I do?

I think you should talk to your brother alone, and your friend alone.
Tell them how frustrated and angry you are, and for what reasons.
Tell your friend she broke her promise, and it really hurts you and makes you so angry! It would piss me off entirely as well too!!
If you are close to your brother, then it should be easy for you to say you care for your friend, and you dont like that he uses her.

This guy asked me out through my friend. He's really nice and funny, but he is sooo ugly! I mean that's the only reason I said no! The other problem is my friend wanted him to ask her out, but she claimed she didn't like him (wierd huh)...
that's part (very small) of the reason i didn't say yes. Do you think i'm too shallow for saying tno just because of that?

It is kind of shallow, because as you know, looks arent everything. I mean I'm not saying you dont need to be attracted, because in this world, eveyrone wants someone they are attracted to you know? But you can fall in love with someones personality, and ifyou fall in love with that, you will start to think that he is good looking, you know? Love changes how you view the person, and how you view the world around you :)

Well making yourself a better person,
is looking at what you dont like about yourself, but dont be to picky, just find things that you could make better, like maybe your not as nice to people as you should be? Or maybe you dont seem to tell the people you love that you appreciate them. you know ;)?

So im 15/f and i so far have never took any chances! Ive never even kisseda boy for crying out loud becuase i am scared. I think my parentals made me this way. Anyways All my friends ONCE in awhile get together and drink. Now i dont want any rude comments but would it be all that bad to try it once? I am sick of being called the good girl, or princess! I meen i wouldnt get attatched to it would i? Is it as bad as grown ups make it seem?

Its good to not take chances, your parents are just looking out for you deary!
Kissing boys and drinking are two very different things, there is a 21+ law for drinking you know! And it doesnt make you cool or anything, it has lots of side effects if you drink too much. I dont think its bad that your just doing it once, but that is how addictions are started, you try something once and like it, and then you just keep doing it, just becareful. Your parents/ grownups, warn you because they've had friends/family, people they care about have bad things happen to them, like drunk driving accidents you know?

i am realy sceared about getting cancer because my mum had cancer she survived and my auntie had cancer she died they had the same kind my dads dad had cancer he died and now my mums dad had got cancer 2 differant types my head is so messed up worrying about it and worrrying about my mum how she is handling in first she had it then she watched her sister die now she has to watch her dad go through it i had just got my life back on track got great frends, family and a great job n i think i am gonna loose it all as i am depressed and spending loads of time on my own someone plz help me.

Oh hunni, just because its in your family, doesnt mean you'll get it.
But the main thing is, go to the doctor for your regular check ups, just to make sure things are good. And live life, dont worry about this, worrying doesnt add any years to living.

Well your 15, sweetheart so theres not a lot you can do. Your still a minor, and your parents are still in control of you. I can understand why your parents wont allow you to see him, because of his record. You get a record you know, for seroius offences.

Its against my will to give you advice on how to sneak around what your parents said, I highly suggest that you just listen to them.
You may be pissed and angry that I'm writing you this, but to be brutally honest you are 15, and you're naive. Everyone is, and theres always something someone can see about a situation, that ourselfs cant. So your parents are looking out for you. I would respect their decision.

Your also a freshman or a sophmore? And this kid with the record is 19, hes probably going to start going to college soon, and there will be TONS of different girls there for him to meet and have relationships with, how do you feel about that? You will have opertunitys to meet new people too, your still young.
