im 13/f and my sister whose 19 moved out about 1 1/2 yrs ago nd recently moved back in. She had a really controlling boyfriend and they were hooked on heroine. My mom had agreed to let her move back in if she stopped doin in. She moved back in about 2mnths ago and got rid of the old boyfriend. She got a new boyfriend but she's still using drugs. it's not just a once in a while thing either, its everyday, and as i said, my mom doesnt know and shes always saying how proud she is that my sister stopped doing drugs. I don't want to wreck me nd my sistersn relationship, but i think my mom needs to know because im afraid my sister will hurt herself.

acne is the state of having many, very bad, and constant pimples. Often, it can be caused by a bacterial infection in your skin on the face.
Zit is just slang for pimple, which are really just tiny infections in the pores of your skin. They fall under the overall category of dermatitis, which is any inflammation of the skin.

If so, a repeating decimal is one that repeats the same number of number pattern over and over, for infinity... like 1/3 is 0.3333333333333-forever. That is a repeating decimal.
A number such as 1/2 = 0.5 is terminal, in that it ends - thus, it terminates. There is no repeating decimal place, like 0.27272727272727272727etc...

If the burn is bad enough, go to the ER... the reason I say this is a 2nd degree burn can get infected if bad enough. If it covers a large area, you want to get someone to look at it ASAP.
If it hasn't popped, DO NOT POP THE BLISTER!
Take great care to keep the area as clean as possible, and very carefully and gently wrap the area to keep it protected.
DO NOT POP THE BLISTER! That is how infection gets in.
Again, if the blister is large, and especially if it has also popped, go see a doctor soon - do not risk infection.

I thought I'd go ahead and add that Vitamin C is one of the FEW vitamins that you pretty much cannot OD on... other vitamins like A, any of the B's (riboflavin, niacin, folic acid, etc), D, E, and K are all capable of overdose, and some can even be deadly at a high enough level.

rest up - lay down in a comfortable position for a while and see if you can alleviate the pain...
if not, back problems are NOT to be taken lightly - see a doctor if it persists. You might need to evaluate your posture, or see a physical therapist to help work out the kinks and strengthen muscles in you back that will help prevent recurring back pain.

Okay I asked a question before about the pill and I was wondering something else....If I do decide to have sex w/out a condom, and get pregnant say five months later....if I keep taking the pill, will it kill the fetus before it gets into the really late stages of pregnancy? No. The pill is not abortive. It is designed to prevent conception form occuring in the first place, and since it IS possible to get pregnant on the pill, then it most certainly will NOT abort the fetus.

I just started Guitar, the 15th to be exact. Its my first time ever playing the guitar and It really comes easy. I have played the Piano since I was 7 so that helps.
What I'm asking you about is My guitar is brand new and very shiny. What do you do to clean/polish it? I'm afraid to use anything for fear of ruining it. I could ask my teacher but I don't see her till next week and my sister, husband are coming tomorrow and she has been thinking of getting a guitar and has asted like she knows all. I really wanted to have my guitar all clean and beautiful with out the fingerprints.

I have used some of the commercially available guitar polishes, such as the spray-on/wipe-off stuff from Gibson and PRS. Car wax also works, but only on guitars that have that style of paint (aka, Fenders, but not Gibsons {or at least not the Les Paul}).
I would not recommend Windex, unless you are sure the pain is fairly thick, and even then, don't use it on the neck at all.
Some guitars, you can use a bit of lemon oil on the fret board.
I think Endust is ok, but I'm not sure about furniture sprays like Pledge.
You can also check the website of the guitar maker - many of them have site, and might offer cleaning tips for their particular instruments. I know any cellulose-based paint jobs like what you find on the Les Paul need to be handled very differently from the multi-layer acrylic paints of Fender, Ibanez, etc.
Another thought is to be a little more careful with cleaning acoustics - there is more bare wood exposed, like on the entire inside of the guitar - than on an electric. Generally, I use the same techniques, but might apply the polish to the cloth instead of directly to the guitar, just to make sure I have absolute control over where the polish is applied.
But yeah, I like the spray-on polishes. They are generally pretty cheap - about $5 a bottle, and last a really long time.

I wake up every morning at least two hours earlier than my first class. I get up, take my dog for a walk, take a shower and get ready. You would think that all of that would wake me up enough to stay awake during my classes wouldn't you?
No luck for me. My hardest class is at 9 mondays and 9:30 wednesdays - Mammalian Anatomy and Physiology- and I am constantly falling asleep durring it. I try to take notes and sit next to the open windows, but it doesn't work. Coffee never seems to help me stay awake, and it gives me an upset stomach even if it did. Does anyone know of anything else that I could do to get myself awake and alert during this class? I don't want to just get a good grade, I actually want to learn everything and remember it all for my job in the future And this means actually paying attention in class. (link)

Shes my best friend in the entire world and I hate keeping this from her. A couple of people who she doesnt like know I smoke. She doesnt even know i talk to them. I hate keeping it from her. If you feel you need to tell her, then you need to realize that from what you've said, that she's likely not going to be happy about hearing it. If you know in advance that she's going to be disappointed, then you need to deal with the disappointment and realize that nothing you say is going to make her think, "oh, ok - I see your point" because it isn't going to happen.

There is this teacher who flirts, with his students. I just think hes friendly but anyway, I think him and this student have a realtionship outside of class. At first, they would just flirt but now I'm catching him wink at her, and smiling. Also, the girl does not get good grades at ALL! She's a senior in a sophmore class.. Also the teacher tutors her 3 days a week after school and I'm wondering if they do anything more than studying. She also gets little notes from him and when she opens them she giggles this really nasty giggle. I want to tell someone about it, but what if I'm wrong? People would talk so much crap. Without any real evidence, you can do nothing. Someone would have to catch them in some sort of inappropriate behaviour, or have documentable evidnence, such as one of the notes. But attempting to steal one would also not be advisable. Were you to be caught attempting that, you could suffer retribution by way of your grades.
I've known many student/teacher relationshps that have been very "friendly". People really freak out over it in high school. However, in college, people don't think much of it. Hell, I'm still friends with one of my profs - invited her and her husband to my wedding, even.
But anyway, I digress... without proof, you are better off keeping these thoughts to yourself. Rumor-mills can be nasty things, and the last thing you'll want is to be at the center of such controvorsey.
