AskMegan answered Friday September 17 2004, 8:26 pm: I don't understand what the actuall question is...are you wondering what the pain in your back is?
You probably pulled a muscle. Totally normal. On any teams at school, perhaps? Or maybe you've been sleeping in an odd position.
Go an see your local chiropractor and have it checked out. Since it is 'KILLING' you, it could be something more. Have it checked out.
lilmagoo8108 answered Friday September 17 2004, 7:55 pm: Everything depends on how long this has been happening. I had back pain for about 2 years and no one took me seriously. I found out about a month ago I have Fibromyalgia.
Take Pain Killers and get a lot of rest and WATER. If you can have someone rub your back for you and help loosen the muscles, still drink WATER. Don't over do your exercise, but do mild walking. Water Aerobics is AMAZING for the back.
If it has been going on for a long period of time consult your doctor ASAP. This isn't something to be taken lightly for I did and look what turned out to be here.
Karen answered Friday September 17 2004, 7:44 pm: Try to rest a little bit: lay down in a comfortable position and see if that will help, take some pain killers (it might not help), and maybe putting a heating pad over it will help? I Hope I helped and I hope you feel better :) [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
MFS answered Friday September 17 2004, 7:41 pm: rest up - lay down in a comfortable position for a while and see if you can alleviate the pain...
if not, back problems are NOT to be taken lightly - see a doctor if it persists. You might need to evaluate your posture, or see a physical therapist to help work out the kinks and strengthen muscles in you back that will help prevent recurring back pain.
