Q: 1 of my closests friends started doing drugs over the summer. over this school year we stopped talking. she started lying to me and talking behind my back and she kept doing drugs and alcohal. She still is...and i have talked to her 100000 times but she still doesnt listen and gets mad whenever i talkt o her. can you give me any tips on how i can talk to her without her getting extremely angry with me?

I would give up. Sounds like a crummy friend to me. I had a friend like that but i got over it cuz she listens to whatever i pretty much say but whatever. I would just give up its what you can do and she wont bother you anymore. she isnt be to cool with this and relizing that you arent happy with her she is Not a true friend anyways-trix

Q: Does anyone know how to make "Rainbow Cookies"? They are the ones with layers of green, pink and yellow, chocolate on top and bottom, and jelly in between. thanks.

Someone posted this on the discussion group without a name. Thanks so much to whoever it was!
Here's a good (easy) letter R recipe -- it also makes a nice St. Patrick's day idea.
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
Food coloring-at least 6 colors (make sure one of them is Red!)
remember - with red, blue and yellow you can make all the other colors.
Mix sugar, butter, egg and vanilla. Add flour and mix well.
Divide dough into six balls.
Add a different food coloring to each ball.
Roll each ball in a snake shape onto a floured surface. This is fun for the kids -- just like playdough!
Arch snake shape and press onto cookie sheet.
Add other snake shapes until the rainbow is formed. (OR! Form a letter R shape with them)
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-15 minutes.
When cooled let each child taste a piece of the rainbow.

You hook up as in if your a girl then you hook up with a guy or if your a guy then you hook up with a girl. "Yeah check this out me and this guy are gunna hook up and go to the movies" or "I hooked up with this hot guy the other night at this real wild party" that sort of stuff. Or it could be just for being friends "me and my friends are gunna hook up 2morrow and gunna go to the carnival wanna tag along" so you can use it like that. What grade are you in? If you are in 8th or younger i wouldnt bother. If you are older then go for it. But i would just hang out with him before you jump to conclusions go over to his house one day after school. Or if he has his license just ask if he can give you a ride to school in the morning because you can't catch the bus cuz you have alot of things to get done in the morning and you dont want to get up extra early to do so. Just first hang out more and if he gives you the sings of liking you then go and ask him. -trix

Q: ok well, in social studies class i sit in the back. And the other day this kid Dan had been absent and we had a test that day. Well the day he came back he had to take it (i sit next to him) and during his test his cell goes off. In my school we r not aloud to have cells phones. And he thought if he reached in his pocket and turned it off then the teacher would think he was cheating. So he wisppers to me to turn it off. Why would you be accused of cheating if you had already taken the test? I would explain to your mom that way she doesnt get the wrong idea. I dont know if she will like the whole idea of you going into his pocket in the first place but the least thing you can do is talk to her and let her know whats up. But detention isnt that bad you know. Just go and do the time and you'll be fine. Detention suck but the people in there are awesome!-trix

Well its a no brainer but its okay to get help. So i would just call your bestfriend and ask if he'd like to hang out and come over for a bit. Watch a movie. Build a snowman. Cook cookies. Watch TV.
