Off Topic RELIGEON (sp?)
A lot of people think I'm different, because I'm Jewish. Well, I consider it! And everyone else says, "Are you a catholic or christian?" ANd I say, "No. I'm way more on the jewish side." And they say, "Ooh, that's too bad." WHY CANT THEY MIND MY RELIGION? WHY DO THEY DO THIS? HOW CAN I MAKE THEM STOP? WHAT CAN I SAY BACK TO THEM?

to start things off you cant help your religion you were brought up that way.and there is nothing wrong with being jewish. people now of days really dont understand other peoples culture. espically if they know nothing about it. they are just finding a way to outcast you bcause your different, thats all. you cant make nobody stop talking about you or thinking that your wierd cause you belive something different but you can explain to them and show them about your religion and what ya do in your culture. and if they dont want to listen at least you tryed and you did a good thing. hope i helped.....

When people of the Christian sort say things to me about my religion I find that responding with "dude, your religion came from mine," usually shuts them up pretty quickly.

Also cathlocs are christians, and compaired to christianity some parts of judism actually make sense.

heh im jewish too but ive never had that problem. feel free to tell them, especially catholics, that they can still get into heaven if theyre good people. something along those lines, its true. where as catholics (and indeed all branches of jesusers) believe you cant get into heaven if you dont accept jesus as your lord and savior. i know it doesnt seem like a cool thing to say but how would they respond to that? you are also assertng how firmly you believe in your religion. especially if theyre your friends what are they gonna say? "sorry dude im right youre going to hell"? realy jsut try to stay off the topic of religion all together it only causes arguments.

I dont know why christians and catholics think that they have the right to judge another religion or person for that matter. I am sorry this happens to you. The reason that they do this is because they are mindless book following morons. Just ignore them they do go away. Or tell them to F**k off thats all I know to do. Its none of their business though.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im jewish? Seriously what is their problem? Well I went to a Jewish school, and then switched schools for 8th grade-12th. I realized that they might be jelous, or they might not know where we come from. Just keep away from them and if really matters to them what religion you are then f**k them! People are just assholes and for some reason everyone has problems with the Jewish religion. Apparently, Jewish people are money-obsessed and are assholes, which I think is completely wrong. I'm not Jewish but I have Jewish friends. Yes, a few of them have money but they aren't assholes at all. I don't know why Jewish people have a bad rep. Don't listen to people, they're stupid. Don't even bother saying anything back to them, they're just ignorant morons and they don't know shit.Hope this helped.

first, ask them why the want to know. then ask why it matters what religion you are and how that would affect your reputation towards them. only idiots believe chrisianity is the "superior" religion. i for one believe in religious diversity. you can make them wear your own boots by asking them what religion they are and giving that answer they give you to let them feel how you feel.
that's my advice anyway...
p.s. don't take religion too seriously as it may lead to violence and actions people will regret, so don't make too big of a deal about it.

hey! omg, i am Jewish too. both my parents are and some people think that its a weird thing... i mean, 1 time in art this one guy that sat at my table was like, is anyone jewish? and i was like, me, and so he was like, o then nvrmind, and its the little things like that that just piss me off. but other times people are like that is so kewl, and some of my friends like to come over during like Channukah or Passover just b/c they're interested in it. so just go up to people who think being Jewish is a bad idea and be just like, so what if i am? There is so much more to being Jewish than just Channukah and knowing another language. have you had your Bat MItzvah yet? i have and its the best thing in the world. all my friends had so much fun and thats a time to be just like, whoa, all u others sux. so maybe you just have to find the right people that accept your religion.

Those people are ignorant that is why they do it. They don't understand that it's ok to be different from then and that is ok. All you can do is try and educate them by telling them that it really isn't a bad thing and you like being jewish. There's always going to be ignorant people in the world, and the only thing you can do about it is to understand that they don't know anything outside of their own little world. You can't really do or say to much, but just let them know that you are offended by their comments and that you are not ashamed of your religion.

Ask them right bak and say "o realy? thats too bad" and walk away. or just be like "whats the big deal? i believe what i beleive and you believe wut you believe what is the big deal?" well the same thing happened to me but they eventually stopped after i told them the same thing bak

Unforunetly we live in a world filled with narrowminded judgemental people. The reason why they can't mind their own business is becuase lots of people like to think that they are better then anyone who is different then them, but the reason for this is just because they are scared. They are too many people who just aren't willing to be more open to different cultures and religions. The hard part is that its nearly impossible to make them stop. Kids will be kids and as long as they are, they are going to be judgemental and cruel. The best thing to do is to ignore it and don't let it get to you. Obviously these people aren't anyone who is your friends becuase true friends aren't going to make rude comments on your relgion. You are who you are and that is all that matters. You don't need to say anything to them back, walk away the better person, because obviously you are. Really these kids aren't worth your time or worth your worries. Just allow yourself to be who you are and don't let anyone bring you down. I think that it is great that you are open about it and confident enough in yourself to want to stick up to them. But there is no need, you will look more mature by jsut walking away from it and not letting it bother you!!

Thats really mean of them. its your religion and they should respect that. if some1 makes fun of you tell them you dont appriciate it or tell a teacher. ask them why its too bad, because its really not and they wont have a good reason. just stand up for yourself is what i can say. i hope it helped. Thats very wrong of them, I'm christian and if someone told me they were Jewish I would totally respect that. I'm sorry they say that to you. What you should say when they say that? Say "Look, you have your beliefs and I have mine. Lets just respect eachothers religion and thats that" Thats the nice way of saying it, and if they still talk crap..beat them up...or talk crap about them =D
