i'm seventeen year old girl & i'm not making this up.

i'm almost positive i can predict death. :/ i know that sounds so crazy, and to be honest, i've just admitted it to myself about 3 months ago. I've realized about this since 5th or 6th grade. (now in 11th.) i'm not like some creepy weird sad girl who sits in the corner all day and cries or something. i'm really normal, and it doesn't really affect me.. yet atleast.. its honestly so embarrassing admitting to myself, its embarrassing even typing this out, even to a bunch of random strangers. i'm not a different person really or anything. i like all normal stuff, i dance & cheerlead, do ok in school, have lots of friends, have a lot of crushes, like parties, all normal regular stuff teenagers like. it's really hard for me to even open up to about this. because if someone ever told me this, i probably wouldn't believe them.

Anyway, i guess now to tell you how it happens.. its happened about 9 times. when i look at the person its like something clicks in my mind.. or its like a flash or something. & if i can see the person very very very clearly in my mind, like just some random image, i know its coming soon. i can still see all the people/things in my mind perfectly clear. it hasn't just happened with people, its happened with animals & even two insects. its usually people/things who i either know very well or people i've only met about once. i've never been wrong before. it hasn't bothered me yet, because it hasn't really been anyone that close to me. (except for my dog.. but thats when i didn't realize it.) like, it happens really fast, & i've actually missed it a few times, but after they die, i'm like ohhh yeah. its very hard to explain. i'm actually kind of a more logical person, i don't really believe in all that kind of stuff. i just really needed to open up about this, & know if anyone has any kind of thing like this. & i just need help dealing with this.

I heard that Billy Mays (inventor of mighty putty, oxiclean, orange glo, etc. & was famous for those crazy infomercials) died at age 50 on June 28, 2009 (yesterday). Somebody posted it on MySpace and when I logged in I saw it and was like, "Billy Mays died TOO!?" I mean, Michael Jackson just died a few days ago! What's with all of the celebrities dying and stuff, right?

Anyway, is it true that Billy Mays died?

How did Billy Mays die, if so?

Yeah, he's dead.

No one knows if the incident on the airplane two days ago has anything to do with his death or not, yet, but it could have.

Alright, so I'm 15 and I'm gunna be a sophmore after this summer is over. I was thinking about where I can get new clothes for this summer and maybe even this fall for back to school. I'm not into the whole pay a hundred dollars for a tanktop with a bird on it scene. I'm getting paid around 50 dollars a week for babysitting, and I need to find places where I can get decent clothes like you'd find at places like PacSun, Hottopic, Hollister, etc. but not nearly as expensive, 'cause if I only have 50 dollars, I don't wanna blow all 50 on one thing. I live in MA, does anybody have any ideas? Also I can't shop online because I don't have a credit card and I'm pretty sure my mom doesn't either.

This sounds odd, but hear me out.

Value World and Salvation Army are amazing. It's resale, which means someone has had it before, but normally you'll get clothes that have never been worn. I always wash them once before wearing it. =]

But, the point is, you can get shirts for like $2 or $3, and at most $7. So, it really fits the price qualification you have.

And both of those places sell brand-name or designer clothes that you would probably like, and it's where I get most of my clothes, and people always ask how I afford it, and I flat out tell them where I get it. I'm really not embarrassed.

I would confront both your parents about it, no matter how awkward it will be. Whether you actually were the one that messed up the computer or not, you should still fess up to what you did.

Your parents will probably be mad, but in the end, they will be happy that you came clean about it and were honest.

It's a name from the book "Twilight."

Hmm, when I read the book, I probably said "Did-ime", but "did-uh-me" sounds good, too.

But, when you read a book, the pronunciation of the name doesn't matter as much as being able to recognize who the character is.

You could call Didyme Susan if you wanted to. XD

Alright, so I'm going to be a junior in high school next September, and all these college guys are hitting on me through Facebook! Its really weird. Like, they graduated my high school a few years back and friend me, even though I've never heard of them (but we have mutual friends), then message me saying we should hang out to get to know each other better. I don't know how to reply! I don't want to date a college guy because I know that all they want is sex and I'm abstaining. But all they're literally asking is to "get to know me better." Of course I know what that means but it would be making assumptions to guess that they wanted to hook up, right?

I think you should just ignore the messages, because it's not a good idea to be hanging around college guys.

They probably do only want sex, but, you never really know. Some might just want to be friends, but normally when someone says "get to know you better," it means for sex or sexual reasons mostly.
