Lately i think one of my wisdom teeth is growing in. The gum around it is killing me for about a week and it feels kind o like they'res a rift or the gum is splitting open or something.

It's probably your wisdom teeth. Take medicine [don't take more than recommended even though you're gonna want to in order to make the pain go away faster], and lay down. There's nothing you really can do. A dentist probably won't be able to do much except to prescribe you maybe a medicine or a cream that numbs your teeth & gums so you won't feel it.

I helped this girl friend get into the institution I'm working for. She was a big hit as an academic coordinator, but success went into her head. She's spreading rumors about the owner ( who is a well respected family man) having fantasies about her. She is so full of herself that all the guys in the office thinks she's an easy lay. She's also bragging that back in college, all the guys I wanted to date likes her instead of me?!? I am a teacher and I worked hard to earn the respect of my colleagues and my students, but I'm tired of being linked to her promiscuity's. Is there a way I can get out of this monster I created?

Ignore her or confront her. If she denies everything, then ignore it. But honestly, I would report her to the owner. Since he owns the institution, he might be the only one who can fire her. Success is good, but to let it get to your head for no reason, that's bad. Get her fired so you can be happy again. =)

How do you START a fight to END a friendship?

I've written many questions about one of my "best friends" on here, and i've come to a conclusion (please don't try to talk me out of it.. i think this is the wisest thing to do) i need our friendship to end, and the only way to end it is by having a HUGE fight.

Only problem is, she would NEVER pick a fight with me, no matter what i do wrong, so she needs to do something wrong that i could "not forgive" her for.. you know? but its not like i can GET HER to do something wrong, is there? and if so, what?

i know it's supid, but seriously.. my question is.. how can i pick a fight with my best friend that could end with me saying "shut up, you annoy the hell out of me..bye" or something along those lines???

Tell her lies, annoy her, make up stories or just tell her the straight out truth that you don't wanna be friends with her anymore. If she asks why, tell her.

why is there so much hate in the world? Every one is labeling everyone. Today I got so mad cuase my friend who is emotional and likes black, some kid walked up to here and asked her if he could teach him how to be emo. It really hurt my feelings even though it wasn't towards me. But Even if you are emo. punk. goth, hard core, why does it matter? as long as everyones being thereselves then it should? why does everyone catorgorize everyone? it's rude.What is the difference between punk, goth, emo anyway? help please

People are idiots. They get some sort of pleasure out of putting someone down just because of the way they dress, or because of the music they listen to. Just ignore it. People are always going to do it, and hate will always be apart of the world. And nobody can say that they don't hate anyone because everyone dislikes someone to the point of hatred. Even Ghandi & MLK Jr hated people whether they'd like to admit to it or not. Too bad they can't. Ghandi hated the people that made him suffer, and MLK Jr. hated the people that told what he could & could not do because of his skin color.

Punk is just a type of music, & "punk" kids usually go by the music to make the style.

Emo is another type of music which means emotional. "Emo" kids are just the people who show their emotions more & wear their hearts on their sleeves.

And goth was just a time period, and the style emerged.

But if it happens again, ask them what the hell they get out of it when they put somebody else down for what music they listen to, or what clothes they wear. See the response. But no matter what, hatred/labels will always be around & there's nothing anyone can do to stop it.

Personally, I'll date a guy with any style. Whether he's "emo, punk skater, prep, scene or ghetto." As long as he treats me nice & loves me the way he should, I could care less how he dresses. But, I'm usually drawn to the "emo" or "skater" guys.

Is it bad to have confidence and think you are pretty?

This is coming from someone who had low confidence for a large number of years. I would never call myself pretty.

but this is a new year and the past is left behind.

and I'm a lot happier now. It's scaring me I guess. I'm happy when I go out and I smile ...and feel pretty?

It's not bad to have confidence, and it shouldn't feel wrong/weird to have it. I used to never have any confidence, and mine has skyrocketed. I love it. I don't compare myself to other girls wishing I could be as pretty or as thin as them anymore. =) I'm happy how I am.

It's just new to you so it's gonna feel weird for a while. But don't worry about it. That feeling will go away. =)

I love my boyfriend to bits but he's just so depressed with his work right now.

He is such a beautiful person but I haven't seen that beautiful person latley. He's been working in his job for 3 years this year. he's 20 going on 21! He is the only young male that works there, the rest are all older women.

The pick on him Constantly, they never leave him alone. He is the only one that is basically mentally abused by these women.

He's been looking for new jobs but there isn't a wide range of job opportunities around in our small country town. Moving towns isn't an option. Both our families are here and this is where we plan to have ours.

He looses sleep over it so he's always tired. I just don't know how to help him anymore.

I love him so much and it hurts me to see him so sad all the time.

It isn't effecting our relationship and hopefully it wont, I wont let it go that far.

The worst thing is, he seems to bottle things up most of the time. I do get him to talk to me but he just ends up in tears.

What do I do?

Tell him to stand up for himself. If he finally does, they won't do it as much. I'm guessing when they do it he doesn't say anything. By doing that, they just think he doesn't care or that he's too intimidated to do anything, so they keep on. When he cries, just tell him everything will be fine, because eventually it will be. Tell him to keep looking for more jobs & hopefully one will come up so he can leave this shit one he has now.

but i knew him for a really long time before that and we liked eachother for most of it

Try Journey's, Zumies, or Pac Sun. At Journey's, when they don't have them in your size, or at all, they ask if you want them to order the shoes for you. If you want that, they could do that for you & have it there in a few days. You leave your number & they usually call you when they're in. =) Then you can have your sneakers.
