I've been tring to use a Neutrogena deep pore cleanser when I take a shower to keep my skin looking good. When I put it on my face, it feels normal. After maybe 20-30 seconds it begins to burn to the point where I have to wash it off. I don't know if it's because I'm doing something wrong, or if that is supposed to happen because it's cleaning out my pores. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks alot!

yeah, mine's like that, too. i think its supposed to burn, if it burns you know its working. =) if it burns TOO MUCH, you put on *too much* ..., jusyt rinse with cold water.

I recently stopped wearing eyeliner because i got major styes that almost resulted me in the hospital.. Is there any possible products that i can wear but wont harm my eyes? I heard hypoallergenic can work? Thanx.

I'm not supposed to know about this, but one of my friends is having these really disturbing dreams, just really disturbing, scary stuff that seems outta horror movie...Thing is they happen when she's awake, like, when she closes her eyes...And they're out of control. I mean, I know everyone gets weird images sometimes in their brain when they close their eyes, but this is definately beyond normal.
She has said that if they continue past New Years she will see a therapist, so I'm not asking for what to do, I know perfectly well how to handle it if she doesn't take the bull by the horns, but what I want to know is if there is an actual medical condition associated with these symptoms..I've heard of them before.
Also, I've got another friend who says these weird things that don't make any sense, like she says stuff happened that's totally outrageous, and then someone disproves it, and she still says they happened...And everyone accuses her of lying, but it just really seems lik she BELEIVES these things have happened to her! Is there a medical condition with this symptom, in which the victim creates excessive memories that never happened?

I can kinda relate. But your friend NEEDS to see a counselor. With me, I get these weird premonitions in my dreams. Well, I'm Polish, and there's all these myths/stories/traditions, whatever the heck you wanna call them, like they say when you dream about your teeth coming out it means something bad will happen, and/or when you dream about fires, it means there will be a robbery. They're like a signs to me. ABout 5 years ago, I had a dream about my teeth falling out and then my aunt's house (in Polands) was on fire. Then last year, I had a dream about fire, and my garage got robbed. And now just recently, I dreamed of fire again, and boy, was I soo verrry cautious and careful! But my uncles construction can got robbed. Does anything that your friends dreams about relate to this? You could also try checking out a dream dictionary! =) I'm sorry this isn't much help!

I've been using the crest whitestrips for about 2 days now and I was wondering if you like swallow does the bleach come off? and I don't know if I have swallowed most of the bleach, because everytime there was saliva in my mouth I'd lick my teeth and swallow. Also, what happens if you DO swallow the bleach on accident?

I know this doesnt go along with the category but get the hell over it and deal....For christmas i got a digital camera and a printer to go with it...however the camera is Fujifilm and the printer is Cannon.....my dad already followed the instuctions and all and we cant seem to get it to work..if anybody can help i'll greatly appreciate it.

did it come together? when i was shopping for a cam, i saw printers and the sales clerks told me that they printer has to match the digital camera, in order for it to work. i'd say just take it back to the store and exchange it. asks the sales associates for advice on which to buy.

I have blonde hair, and i want to lighten it so it's even more blonde, like the color or paris hilton's. my friend thats going to be ligtening it asked me if i wanted it dyed or bleached. what's the difference? which one should i do?

well it depends on what kind of hair dye you use. some dyes have bleach in them. bleached is really really really bad for your hair! there are other ways to lighten your hair. there's this thing called touch of sun, it works *wonders!* You spray it in, just like you would with hairspray and when you blow-dry or when you're out in the sun, you're hair becomes lighter. its between ($4.00-$10.50 >> depending on where you buy it!) you can buy it at your local DRUGSTORES, CVS, WALGREENS, BEAUTY PLACES ... ETC. also, that John Freida stuff lightens your hair a lot. its betwenn $5 and $15 bucks =} ... its conditioner, shampoo, gel, etc and they have the special chemical also, that lightens your hair, without the damage! ;)`~

this is pretty strange. a girl wakes up from a coma after 2 years, just in time for the holidays, and first thing she does is ask advicenators. if this is some kind of joke, its not funny, and this isn't something you should joke around about. but, if you, honestly, just woke up from a coma, then well ...:

no problem! go to your local mall, they got nice (& CHEAP) dresses at Windsor, Deb, Marshall's, Kohl's, JC Penny - they're a loton clearance all the time. BTW, i was just looking at some. I'm not sure, if you will like them, but they're REALLY inexpensive. The good thing is that, now practically everystore is having 'an after-christmas sale' so yeah, it shouldn't be hard. here are some dresses, that in which in my opinion, i think they're cute!

I'm a moderately happy person. I'm in love, I have really supportive friends, and I have great artistic outlets for my emotions, but for some reason I keep having these reoccurring thoughts of suicide. Every time I sit by my window I think of diving headfirst into the driveway three stories below. I don't know what to think of it. Is this normal?

i can totally relate. just advice, don't go through it. i've been feeling down lately, i have a lot of stress at home and i just break down and cry my eyes off and think about suicide. but then you think about it, a week later or so on and you realize, thank God I didn't do something. are you stressed out? worried about something? any problems? just believe me, hold on. things will get better. those thoughts, well ignore them as much as you can. and for everyone else out there dealing with suicide pressure, remember its not worth it. i mean think about how your friends, family, relatives will think? how would you feel if someone you know/care about committed suicide? if its just random thoughts that keep occuring, i'd suggest visiting a counselor. well goodluck, tell me how it all goes. if you needmore help, feel free to drop one in my inbox anythime!

Well see heres the deal. I met this girl online and we really hit it off. I had always been against liking people long distance but that seems to have been blinded by the presence of this girl. 'i'm being sexually harrassed by this guy i know, and so is every other girl in myclass except for two. His sexual harrassment is getting me in troubel with some of my teachers.
