i really hate my hair when its straight. when its curly its okay, but i am so bord with it. its shoulder legnth and coming out dark so its multicolor. i am the one on the left








i really want it long but i am too impatient and i want it all one color it its long so im think i want it short and get rid of the old color. im not sure how short or what style. i want it to be cute curly and straight because i dont want to have to do alot to it. please send me links or pictures

well from what i can tell in the picture i really like your natural hair color. its kinda a warm brown with a hint of red in it right?

and i agree with the person below me, i think you should get side bangs.

but i have a question. is your hair naturally straight or curly? if it is naturally straight i would suggest getting choppy layers put in with the side bangs.

if it is curly i would get layers but keep them long because if you get them too short it could get poofy.

my friends 16th birthday is coming up and my family is going to las vegas my brother and dad are going for the SEMA car show.. aand my mom and I arent going to that show so we thought that i should bring my best friend as her sweet 16 present from me and stuff.. do you think thats a good idea??

if so how can i find out if she would want to go without her being suspiscious of it being her present.. ???

well i would talk to your friends parents about it. have both of your parents talk and make sure that she would be ALLOWED to go. then once all of that is settled i would talk to your friend about you going. just be like "oh i have to go to las vegas with my family because my brother and dad are seeing some stupid car show". then wait for her reaction. hopefully she'll say something like "oohh you're so lucky!".

but if she doesn't show any reaction i'd still go for it. i mean most teenagers would LOVE to go to las vegas :]

Okay, so I'm 13 & female.
I'll be 14 in a few months too.
I need a way to get money for things I want, but I don't want my parents to spend their money for it.
I can't baby sit or anything, because most of the people I know have someone for that.
Is there any jobs I might be able to find & be able to do, even though I'm only 13?

well no, you're only 13 so no places will hire you until you are 15/16.

i would try putting up flyers. and you can put on them that you can babysit, mow lawns, pet watch, dog walking, water plants, and etc..

this way if anybody needs anything done they can see your flyer and call for help and you won't be limiting yourself to one job.

for me pet watching and watering plants are BIG ones. whenever my neighbors go away they always ask me to watch their dogs and water their plants.

now for razored i can't give you a picture because for girls all it does is thin the hair. personally i LOVE it. I get my hair thinned by my hair dresser and it makes it amazingly thinner.

To all people who babysit, how much do you usually charge per hour and do you charge like a dollar more per each extra child?

i babysit two girls who are 3 and 5 and i get $8 an hour.

so if its one child i'd go with about $6 and if its two kids go for $8.

This is a long, somewhat confusing question. I realize that it is a lot of work to figure this out so any serious answers will definately be rated appropriately. I really appreciate any advice.

For the last couple of months, I have had several 'downs' and few 'ups' with this situation. I am being harassed by girls from my school, some are "ex-friends" and others are just people who don't know me. I am wondering what is the most beneficial next step to take.

Involved People (females aged 15 to 17+):

Myself - Usually in a good mood, polite, kind to others, strongly opinionated, willing to stand up for causes which I believe in. Straight A's (with very few exceptions) and a dedicated student. Last summer I went to many parties. Strong willed, self confident and "always dressed up" describes me.

Tracey - One of my best friends, ex-best friends with Annie, used to be good friends with Danielle and Kaya.

Danielle - Last summer we were best friends, she is a "party animal," low grades, jealous of her best friend, Kaya.

Kaya - Danielle's new best friend, many insecurities, low grades, treats people badly to make herself feel better (laughing at overweight people), acts like she is amazing.

Annie - Used to be best friends with Tracey. Follows Danielle and Kaya with whatever they do.

Here is a basic timeline of the sitation for reference, I have all of the recent activity documented carefully on my computer:


November - Danielle and I got in an argument. I was talking to people at our lunch table about how I was worried about her. I also said she is friends with people then just ditches them and that I was thinking I should talk to her about it. It got back to her before I talked to her about it, she got mad and I apologized. She said tons of mean stuff to me so I ended up not talking to her for weeks. I was excluded from everything and always ended up at home doing nothing.

December - Things were great, Annie always told Tracey how much she disliked me (behind my back) but we started to become friends. At the end of the month I was excluded from "secret santa" because of my dispute with Danielle, and everyone (lunch table people) said they didn't want ME making conflict.

January - Conflicts were slightly resolved but Tracey and I noticed we were being excluded from all events and birthday parties. We started to become closer and hang out a lot.

February - Some "tough/druggie" girls attacked me, saying I "dress like a / am a tramp" and I was hit in the back of the head. I walked away from them but everyone was talking about how I "ran away crying." I still do not see why they did this and it is completely unfair. I do not dress out of the ordinary, usually - when I wear a skirt I have long legs so it looks short, but who cares anyways. I always avoid walking that way now.

March - Annie began to get mad because Tracey and I were so close. She started talking behind my back again and to Danielle and Kaya (Annie did not like Kaya at the time). Danielle, Kaya and Annie began to grow closer due to their hate of me. The 3 of them would always make plans infront of Tracey and I and purposely not invite us.

April - Danielle wrote a blog about people she hated, and I said "Honestly, do you consider me one of those people?" In reply, she went crazy and said a ton of mean things about me. She said I shouldn't bother replying because she did not want to start a "bitch fight." I was outraged, and told her to say it to my face. At school she couldn't look at me and was afraid.

April Cont - Kaya stood up for Danielle and said I was "attacking" her. I was just not letting Danielle walk all over me, I no longer wished to be friends with her and immediately stopped talking to them. I told Kaya that it was not her business. One day at lunch, Kaya and I got in a big arguement and she ended up leaving the table.

April Cont - Kaya, Danielle and Annie went to the "tough/druggie" group of girls and told them what was happening. I started to be harassed by these new girls (I will call them the hawks) and they threatened to beat me up. I backed off, feeling overwhelmed. I completely stopped talking to all of those people.

April Cont - At the same time, Tracey told Annie that she felt excluded, so Annie went against her. It was now Danielle/Kaya/Annie against Tracey and I.

May - Danielle tried to start a fight with Tracey over the computer over nothing. Pointless things continued to happen even though we weren't speaking to Danielle. I started talking to Annie and Kaya again (I regret this now) and we were fine together. I tried to be nice and work things out since the whole fight was over very little. I tried to resolve things with the "hawks" but I was still constantly stared at by them at school.

June - Tracey, myself and two of our other friends made a funny video and posted it on facebook. It wasn't about anyone it was just a pointless music video dancing around in big coats. Danielle, Kaya and Annie "copied" our video but tried to "copy our make-up, clothes and moves." They exaggerated everything and acted like completely sluts (I can honestly say that) then told everyone to "say whose is better." It was obnoxious.

June Cont - They began to harass me on MSN but I said "haha yeah you're great at being us. bye!" and blocked them. Kaya was me, Annie was Tracey and Danielle was my other best friend from the video. One day walking along the street after our friend's birthday lunch, Danielle and Kaya rode by on a bike and yelled "ugly ass sluts!" to us. We ignored them. Later on, Annie and Danielle apologized to Tracey and included me in the apology (it was never sent to me) and Tracey "accepted" their apology.

June Cont - Annie and Danielle left for a month long student exchange trip in Europe. Kaya found a new "best friend" (Ellen), whom I used to be friends with last summer but we rarely saw eachother. Kaya and Ellen posted pictures in short skirts and tanktops saying "oh ya.. this is how (my name) stands and dresses" and posted them on facebook. Kaya, Ellen, Danielle and Annie have all been put on "limited profile" for my facebook and cannot see anything except my name and a nearly blank page.

Ellen lives on my street, like a two minute walk away. She has been in many fights and now I am feeling threatened because in my honesty box on facebook, Kaya threatened that if I went to any bonfires or parties this summer that she would fight me or get other people to. Annie and Danielle are gone for three more weeks, but Ellen and Kaya are so close. In addition, they have all of the "hawks" on their side.

I have just been staying home/inside to avoid conflict and I am sick of this harassment. Please help. =(

wow ok that was really long, and i feel so sorry for you! omg you don't deserved to be treated like this.

one thing i must say is, GET A NEW LUNCH TABLE! you should sit with people who are nice and not people who will start arguments with you.

i think you should just not talk to these girls anymore, except Tracey who seems to be a good friend for sticking by you. Just mind your own business and don't let them bother you. they are obviously jealous of you and your looks or else they wouldn't be "copying" your vidoes and takings pictures and saying that they are immitating you.

be the better person and let it go. just surround yourself with people who make you happy and like you for who you are. Danielle, Kaya, & Annie seem like real b****es. and they don't deserve to be your friends. don't try to fight back, because that will only make the problem grow and become worse.

so just ignore them, and the "hawks" at school. and if you EVER get harassed and pushed around by the hawks like you did before tell somebody! i know that might seem embarrassing at the moment, but it will really help because it will get them to stop hurting you in the future.

so basically stick with tracey and ignore the rest. you're 16! just live your life and don't let drama get in your way :]

so i tried to install the software[cd] but it kept on saying that my temp. folder is full...or something like that...?? what does that mean? and what do i do??

well this has never happened to me before, but i guess you could try emptying your temp folder.

on my computer it is located in the "local disk (C:)" folder.

so once you empty that, try to install it again.

hopefully that works. and if not i'm sorry but i don't know what else you can try.

i have curly hair, but i straighten it, and it's a little shorter than hers

to me it looks kinda like she krimped it. so you could try doing that or you could try putting A LOT of small braids in your hair when its damp and letting it dry like that.

I like one of my guy friends a lot! and a few days ago we went to WonderLand with our other friends. Well the whole time we were their he ignored me and turned away when i talked to him. Even though in November he liked me a whole lot and a month ago he reminded me. While we were there he was also very close to one of my friends. Maybe it was because she enjoys roller coasters and i don't? I tried, but im just not a roller coaster person, and my never be.

well maybe he is trying to move on since you haven't showed any interest in him back? i don't know, but you didn't tell us if you told him you liked him too or not.

or maybe he was just trying to get you jealous? its hard to tell just by the question.

Well lately, my bast friend j and my other best friend b have been like ganging up on me...like b will say...oh im j's best friend now she likes me better... and its always about j! She will say she hates me and not even say that she was kidding! My friend b has also been losing wieght...and im happy for her but she talks about it all the time...it doesnt help when j says oh what is your size, whe'll compare! They try to make themselves feel better about themselves! And j has been my best friend since the 1st grade! Plz help!

i think that your friends are just a little insecure right now. especially b who is trying to lose weight. she just wants to compare sizes so that if she is "thinner" she can somehow say that she is "better" than you.

if i were you i would stop hanging out with them as much and give them their space. or you could try having a serious talk with both of them about how they are hurting you and how you don't want to lose them as friends because you've been friends so long.

Ok so i have a cingular SLVR. The 7 one. Tonight i turned on my phone and saw my battery was low so i charged it. A few minutes later i found my phone's keypads lighting up but the screen is blank. I took it off the charger and turned it on but nothing happend. I pressed all the keys but the keypads just kept lighting up. I don't know what's wrong with my phone. The screen is just blank with the keypads on. I don't get it, any help?

i have a cingular phone too and mine does that a lot. my phone's screen will just randomly go black or white. and the keys will start lighting up. what i do to fix it is I turn my phone off and then turn it back on again.

and if this doesn't help, try taking the battery out and then putting it back in.

and as a last resort take it to a cingular store and they can fix it for you :]

your period is probably just irregular. i've had my period for over a year and it still isn't regular.

so its ok and completely normal. just don't stress about it because stress can delay it even more.

so the bottom line is to RELAX and it will come eventually. and until then enjoy not having it :]

the first step is to CALM DOWN!
stress can delay your period even more.

but don't worry, your period is still irregular. i've had my period for over a year and it still isn't regular.

so its ok and completely normal. when your haven't had your period for too long its normal for it to be late or for you even to skip a month.

so the bottom line is to RELAX and it will come eventually. and until then enjoy not having it :]

yeah, there are girl football teams out there but it is hard to find one. since i don't know where you live, its hard to say if there is a team near you.

well your camera should have come with a cord that you can hook up to your computer. then you can transfer your pictures from your camera to your computer. then when you go to "add/edit pictures" on myspace, you just click "browse" and select the pictures that you want to upload.

13/f Okay, there's this boy I've liked since 6th grade, and it was pretty obvious that he liked me too. We'd always stare and smile at each other at lunch and in the hallway. But we didn't start hanging out until 8th grade because I lived with my mom (which was out of state) in 7th grade and in 6th grade he was on a different team. Now I'm going to 9th grade and we still liked each other this year, too. But he moved to a different school and came back 2 weeks later to take the PSAT. That was when I saw him last (which was in October). I was sure he still liked me though.
I found out his number and called him two days ago. He sounded happy to talk to me and I was going to ask him to be my boyfriend, but the conversation never worked up to it. It took me most of that day to gain the courage just to call him (with the help of my bestfriend and my cousin). So...should I call him again and ask him out? If so, when? What should I say??? I really like this guy and I've never asked anyone out before. Help would be appreciated. Thanks a bunches

well first off i'm pretty proud that you called him. it takes a lot of courage to do that and most girls wouldn't.

but since you don't see him that often, first make sure that a relationship could workout between you guys. then i think you should keep calling him but just to talk or maybe to make plans to hangout. then once you are in person THEN you should ask him out. i think it is always better to ask somebody out in person.

Ok,so you know how people have those "frount" bangs? (where the bangs go across) well, most people have those bangs,and they can move them to be side-swept. my question is,how do i ask for bangs that can be both side-swept and across? do you think it will work? thankss.

yeah i know people that have gotten that. but what happens is that they get their bangs cut straight across, about just covering their eyebrows. then they can style them to the side. but when you do style them to the side it won't actually 'sweep" to the side, it will just go sideways.

when you get yours cut straight across get them cut like this:
