Ok so i have a cingular SLVR. The 7 one. Tonight i turned on my phone and saw my battery was low so i charged it. A few minutes later i found my phone's keypads lighting up but the screen is blank. I took it off the charger and turned it on but nothing happend. I pressed all the keys but the keypads just kept lighting up. I don't know what's wrong with my phone. The screen is just blank with the keypads on. I don't get it, any help?
you should try taking out the battery. or if your phone got wet, then take out the battery and dry it. that's how mine broke i dropped it in the pool and the screen wouldn't work [it's because another time i dropped it and the screen cracked]. but the lights on the keys would come on and everything. if taking the battery out doesn't work then i suggest you get to a cingular store, if your lucky and have insurance you may be able to get a new one!
FiaBean answered Thursday June 28 2007, 10:16 pm: Your phone screen may be dead. Have you tried calling someone without using the screen as your guide? See if it goes through. If it does then the screen may be dead, though my old phone had this same problem I would call people and receive calls but I couldn't see the screen. Eventually in a couple of days I glanced at my phone and the screen turned on. Maybe you just need to give your phone a little time and it may turn back up. Hope I helped! TEENAGExHEARTS answered Thursday June 28 2007, 10:12 pm: i have a cingular phone too and mine does that a lot. my phone's screen will just randomly go black or white. and the keys will start lighting up. what i do to fix it is I turn my phone off and then turn it back on again.
and if this doesn't help, try taking the battery out and then putting it back in.
