To all people who babysit, how much do you usually charge per hour and do you charge like a dollar more per each extra child?

Personally, I charge 7.50$ plus an extra 1$ for each additional kid. But that's only high because I leave the place clean and stuff when I leave. I usually play games and stuff with them too, so it's an add on.

I think it depends on how long you babysit and whos kids your babysitting and how old they are if its a relative i let them choose my pay.
I normally do $25 dollars a day for two kids because it evens itself out and its not to expensive and more people are gonna want you to babysit

i babysit two girls who are 3 and 5 and i get $8 an hour.
so if its one child i'd go with about $6 and if its two kids go for $8.

i usually take whatever i'm offered and if they ask for a charge i just say i dont have one. they usually end up around 5 an hour for like three kids (for me) sometimes a little more or a little less.

well you dont want to overprice the amount per hour but you dont want to make it so little that you end up with barley anything in your pocket by the end of the sitting. Yeah you should probably add a dollar for an extra kid. so for like 2 kids it would be reasonable for like 9.50 an hour.

alot of things change what you charge. like at my camp i used to babysit these kids and i got $12 dollars an hour , but the ppl were from nyc so they were used to paying that much. but like where i live i get aboutt $5 an hour usally sometimes a little more. it just depends.
