I normally do $25 dollars a day for two kids because it evens itself out and its not to expensive and more people are gonna want you to babysit [ basketballchick14's advice column | Ask basketballchick14 A Question ]

LOL_x0x answered Wednesday July 4 2007, 2:07 pm: I charge between 6 and 8 dollars an hour.
And yes, I'd charge more with extra kids.
Maybe a dollar more like you said =]
SoccerCutiex3 answered Wednesday July 4 2007, 1:42 pm: i usually take whatever i'm offered and if they ask for a charge i just say i dont have one. they usually end up around 5 an hour for like three kids (for me) sometimes a little more or a little less. ANNAthegreat answered Wednesday July 4 2007, 1:41 pm: well you dont want to overprice the amount per hour but you dont want to make it so little that you end up with barley anything in your pocket by the end of the sitting. Yeah you should probably add a dollar for an extra kid. so for like 2 kids it would be reasonable for like 9.50 an hour. [ ANNAthegreat's advice column | Ask ANNAthegreat A Question ]
ohhsnapp05 answered Wednesday July 4 2007, 12:30 pm: alot of things change what you charge. like at my camp i used to babysit these kids and i got $12 dollars an hour , but the ppl were from nyc so they were used to paying that much. but like where i live i get aboutt $5 an hour usally sometimes a little more. it just depends.
