Hunni i had the same problem when I was younger... like 13 lol. I was sooo scared that people would laugh at me because I didnt think I was good enough. What I suggest you do is buy a empty cassette (( like doesnt have anything recorded on it )) and put it into your stereo or boombox. Then put it on tape, click the record and play button at the same time, and sing the best you can. That could help you realize exactly how good you are, and could get you more confidence. And if you like it enough you could make copies and send them to record labels.
When you're performing, find a good pair of stylish sunglasses and wear them. That way its harder to see the peoples faces, but still looks like you're giving them eye contact.
In the end the more experience you have the easier it comes to you.

Try auditioning for American Idol, American Juniors, or go to a karoke bar to see how other people respond to your abilities. Or try getting gigs in clubs and other large, crowded areas to help you work up from cofee house gigs.

If you are, when you guys are on a date ask her really nice if it be ok to kiss her. If she says yes just lean in and do it. lol. If you arent going out, then ask her if its ok, or ask her out first.
Being romantic is the best way to a girls heart, but dont go overboard. Even the littlest things can make a girl swoon.

you could try typing it into google, or ask your doctor if they could give you the test. My dad thought my brother had ADD ant we had him take the test, and much to my horror, hes just extrmely hyper *pouts* lol. IM sorry i cant help more...

okay.. theres no topic for this cuz I dont knwo what it should be but what ever... anyways... my mom is constantly finding my money that I hide and or takes it from me as soon as I get it to go get drugs.. Try talking to your guidance counseler about it. Unfortunately she isnt suitable as a mother, and will probably lose custady of you. When high she could end up hurting you, and that cant happen. What i suggest you do is keep your money with you at all times. When you're awake keep it in your pockets. and then when you go to sleep tuck it somewhere in your pajamas, and lie about having money. You could also try to get her to stop... try talking her into checking into rehab or look up on the internet some groups that could help her. Im sooo sorry about your mom, and i wish all goes well.

I helped my friend get a boy, who is also my friend. She said she really liked him and totally wanted to go out. So I hooked them up. The boy is really sweet and really likes her. The day after they were together. She says to me that she's going to break up with him because she's in love with her ex from like a year ago. (And he doesn't like her like that.) She got me to hook them up, and she's going to break his heart after he admits his feelings for her. I don't think thats right. i told her she said she'll give him 1 week tops. I don't know what I should do

Maybe you could tell her that her ex probably wont go for her. I know it sounds mean, but if she likes this guy even a little... then she should wait. But you cant get involved to much. Its their relationship... not yours. Try talking to your guy friend about how hed feel if anything went wrong. Unfortunatly... she needs to follow her heat. And if it tells her to go for the other guy you have to let it happen. i know it sux, trust me i do. but just back off a little. maybe you could talk her into waiting more than a week?

Maybe you could try to hook her up with someone. I know how it is to have a friend like that, but you have to stick with her. Maybe dont go into detail about how your boy friend was soooo sweet and everything you guys did last night. Just tell her he took you somewhere and you had fun. You can always talk to your best friend about guys. You just have to be careful not to make her feel like shes missing out too much. hope i helped at least a little...

I think telling her not to bring they guy would be wrong. I mean, it could be a co-worker or friend that wants to go to that college. Hell, he could be gay ;) I think you should ask her about him without seeming like you dont want him to tag along. But if you guys really like each other, a guy coming with her might not matter.

ok hun you are NOT overweight. It does depend on how tall you are, but I am 15, 5 foot 7, and 115 pounds, which is under weight... even though it seems like a lot. If you lose 10 lbs... you could become sick. Ask your doctor for your ideal weight...

I think I have self-image problems. I hate my stomach. I'm always worried it is preventing me from finding a boyfriend. I know people sometimes comment about my weight behind my back. In school when we had our physicals I felt extremely self-consious because the nurse put the chart down and a few people could see my weight (I'm not sure they care though). I just don't want to hurt myself. I've thought about nt eating and becoming aneroxic and when I did I honestly didn't care what it would do to my body as long as my stomach look thinner. I do exercise usually but I never see results. I just want to know how I can have a better self-image. Any help? (link)

Well hun, you seem like a totally sweet girl. The thing is, it depends on how BIG you are. Dont take it the wrong way, but there are different things to do depending on how much you weigh. Ask your doctor or nutritionist to make a excersize chart, and diet plan for you if you find it helpful.
As for the people talking behind your back, no matter who you are it happens. But if people are talking behind your back, you can never be sure exactly what they're talking about. They could be saying you look really pretty :D Just wake up every morning and look into the mirror and say " I am special, I am beautiful just the way I am. And nobody can ever change that. And anybody would be lucky to know me! " Be positive, and surround yourself with positive people.

OK to some of you this might not seem like a big deal..but me and my dad are dedicated to softball. Well..aside from JV softball..little league is the place where all of us can have lots of fun. My dad and my friends dad coach together. My dad was even on the little league board. (he recently left but will be returning.)
Well the problem is he told the president of the board to "fuck off" He wasnt totally wrong..but he def wasnt right for what my dad said. Now..i just found out the president of the board..my friends dad..and another lady is coaching! They totally left out my dad. EVERYONE on the team hates the pres and they loved it when my dad and my friends dad were coaches. What should I do? i dont want to go down without a fight. My friend went out with a guy like that.He sounds really prude... Maybe he's just really nervous, or he's really religious and his religion wont let him. He could have strict parents as well. I think you should ask him. It wont offend him if you love him so much you want to take it to the next level. Just tell him you really want to kiss or at least hold hands, but you dont want to push him. That you just want to understand better why he doesnt want to. Sorry I cant help more...
