Dont tell them your sob stories... if you do that is. that way they wont feel bad for you. dont keep things from them though. Tell them not to feel bad for you. that you love your life and theres nothing wrong with it. wish i could help more :D

maybe act alittle different, tell them not to feel sorry for you if you dont like it. Maybe talk to them and, buy your own stuff... dont have them pay for you, but mainly acting different would help, becuase it might be from that that they get a hint you might need help.

How do you know that they feel bad for you??? What if they really like you??? If this is really true, then you should make sure you really know the person before you go out with them. It might take a while to get to knw them, but I bet it would be worth the wait!!!
