Does anyone have any good sites where I can get a FREE downloadable virus program?
Thanks ♥ (link)

I am running this on nearly every machine in my home.

If you write your own lyrics, and you don't play a musical instrument, how do you make original music at home? Are there any sites? This is appreciated if you could answer this by tonight.
Thanks lovelies! (link)
The issue is that to "write music" pretty much requires that you play an instrument or know theory and can compose. Working with sequencers is sort of like composing, but you don't actually play anything and the form of theory is different and often preconstructed elements from a library (which is really not learning music at all).

You have, however, forgotten about another "instrument"... it is your voice.

There's no reason why you can't compose vocally - and eventually record what you've come up with for the sake of having it a duplicatable format. If you develop something you're particularly proud of, you would be able to share that recorded bit with others who you could collaborate with to further construct the music of a song.

Anyone know how long I can take Ibuprofen for continuously? Same for CoCodamol (Paracetamol - Codeine combo)? One week? More? Less? (link)
First off - ask a doctor or especially a pharmacist.

You should not take anything with codeine for long - codeine is an opiate and can be addicting - it will also screw you up (taking too much can cause paranoia, taking it at all can cause constipation - doesn't that sound fun).

Ibuprofen is fairly innocuous, but can cause issues with your stomach lining, and taking it for no reason for too long will cause long-term liver and kidney damage.

Taking any medication continuously is generally not good unless it has been prescribed and you follow the regimen with intermittent supervision from a heath professional.

can someone help me find a site that tells me how the Zuni tribes from the 1800s provided for themselves (were they hunters and gatherers, traders, agriculturalists...?). i already tried google and stuff but i have to read this huge, long page thing and still can't find that one bit of information quickly. someone help please? thanks! p.s. don't tell my the answer, just tell me a site i can go to, or if you DO tell me the answer, then tell me the name of the site! please! thankz! (link)
The Zuni and other Puebloan tribe have mainly been farmers. This is why the ancient Puebloan people lived in the cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde - for protection while their crops grew on the tops of the mesas. Even if you can't find examples of the Zuni directly, you can find cross references from the Hopi and Pueblo tribes.

One of the problems that you're going to run into is that the era you're looking at is simply not well documented, for many reasons (some of which are horrible due to how the 'white men' treated all the native people).

as for links:

I searched "Zuni 1800 History" and got a crapload of useful information (once you filter out all the stuff on jewelry and clowning [no, really]).

I'm having a soft-tissue gum graft Thursday on my lower gums. Have any of yall ever had this done. How badly will it hurt, how long should I wait until I should try to eat, can I talk since I'll have stitches in? Please don't say " Go ask your dentist" I asked him and he told me not to be worried. Thats all he said. Thanks guys =] (link)
I might have to have this process done in the future, and I have had other oral surgeries... My father-in-law had it done a few years ago... thankfully the process is better now than it was then.

Not to scare you, but he was in a lot of pain.

However, he got ALL his gums realigned... the process he went through is probably very different than what you're going to have done. His didn't include as much grafting, but did include lots of incisions - and the grafts that he did have were taken from the roof of his mouth, which caused yet another large incision. I doubt they will do this for you.

I suspect you'll be in some pain, but it should be very managable. You'll probably have the desire to take a nap after the procedure. As far as eating goes... that will be up to the orders your dentist gives - and those orders will be based on healing and how you feel. You don't want to do anything to get an infection or aggrivate the incisions - likewise, you don't want to starve. It'll likely be a judgement call, but definitely take heed what your dentist feels is reasonable.

You'll be able to talk, but it might be uncomfortable at first.

ok the other day i was with my boyfriend and weve been together for a month and 2 months next week and he said 'i love you' to me like properly but hes into long term relationships, his last gf he was with for 8 months and he said 'i love u' to her.
do you think he really means it...i love him so much and i dont want to get hurt!
thanks ill rate high
xxx (link)
Do I think he means it? Yeah, he probably does mean it - he means it to the best of his ability and for as well as he understand love at this point in time.

Love isn't a constant thing, it grows and changes.

So, he says it because it is what he feels. There's nothing wrong with that.

I'm starting to throw up my dinner each night. I know this isn't good, but i cant stop myself. What should i do? (link)
Talk to a doctor, talk to someone you trust... if you truly feel you cannot stop and you want to, you must make it a point to get help. Find someone you trust and talk to them about it and ask for help.

Hey can any of yall show me some good web sites to learn how to play drums? I'm asking for a drum set for christmas and i wanna leanr hwo to play. (link)
Honestly, I can't imagine a website would be a very good way to teach someone drums. I mean, you might be able to see descriptions of some patterns, but it won't really help you to play. Best bet is to actually sit behind a set and play some simple patters. Generally start with alternating snare / bass drum while playing straight 4s on the hi-hat. (boom - thud - boom - thud, all while hitting the hi-hat every time). After you have that down with quarter notes, you play eigth notes on the hi-hat while continuing the alternating snare/bass, with the snare on 1,3 and the bass on 2,4.

Also, if you really are getting a kit, make sure you ask for a metronome as well to keep tempo (assuming you don't already have one).

I have a problem with bad breath...i always brush my teeth, i chew mint gum CONSTANTLY and i eat mints all the time, and yet my breath still stinks, what can i do to make it fresh?!?!?! (link)
Have you seen a dentist about it? It could be signs of other health issues... seriously.

Also, consider how often you floss, if you use things like Listerine, if you currently have a sinus infection, and what you've eaten recently. All those things will affect the quality of odor of your breath.

oh and to all those people with the ? when is the right time to have sex? its when you are ready.
no body can tell you when to have sex.

and ways my ? is..
how long into the relationship do you have sex.
i rate high for nice people (link)
You've answered your own question.

There is no duration a relationship needs to determine that.

The time for that level of intimace should be based on the ability to handle the responisibility, since having sex acknowledges the chance of pregnancy. It should be based on the maturity, as sex should require emotional stability, trust, and a strong relationship. Hell, sometimes having sex is based on money - if you can afford birth control, if you could afford to have a baby should that happen, if you can afford doctors bills should sexually transmitted infections be involved (which again goes back to having a solid, trusting relationship).

I sadly know people who think "oh yeah, after 2 months, you can have sex!" To which I think, "why are you even dating people?"

I have a coworker that didnt get any shifts for two weeks. I found out that she had been extremely rude to a customer (we work in clothing retail) so her hours were cut back. Well the boss decided to give her two shifts this week and guess what she was a NO SHOW both times!!! Me and the other girls think she did that because she was mad at the boss for not giving her any shifts for two weeks. Either that or she didnt know she had any shifts because she had two weeks of no work. But either way it was her responsbility to know if she was working or not.
My question is would that be grounds for her termination? I have a theory that after she was so rude to the customer that they didnt want to fire her but were hoping she would just go away, and by not giving her any work she would get mad and quit. I was actually surprised they gave her any more shifts at all. I asked if the boss was mad that she didnt show up and they said no.
What do you think? (link)
Yes, that is clearly grounds for termination. To have been rude to a customer... and then not show up to work AFTER that? Yeah, that's begging to be fired.

I have asthma and all but

why exactly do we use inhalers?

i mean how exactly does it affect us? (link)
the inhalers are vasoconstrictors - they make capillaries (and veins and arteries) shrink up... what this does in your lungs (and ajoining other breathing guts) is shrink them down - the Athsma is a swelling that restricts breathing - and swelling is caused by lots of blood flowing to the area, causing inflammation. So, by shrinking the blood vessels, the swelling goes down, allowing you to breathe. This is also why using inhalers can make you jumpy, cause headaches, etc... because they crank up your blood pressure.

You'll also find some people who take Theophylline for athsma - theophylline is related to caffeine, so it is a stimulant and vasoconstrictor as well. It is just better at getting lungs to open up compared to caffeine.

Does anyone know who to become a moderator 2 or a site?Any suggestions would be helpful! (link)
We choose new L2 moderators only when they are needed and they are chosen by the existing moderators. It is not something we take lightly and not something we advertise for. I generally run under the premise that if someone wants to be a L2 mod, then I don't want them to be a L2 mod. It is not a privilege, it is a responsibility. Most L2s have been here for a long time, have proven to be consistently fair in their giving of advice, and show an active leadership role on the site.

hey everyone me and my fiance' had sex with out a condom and we used the withdrawal method but i want to know what the chances are of getting pregnant and what i should do in the meantime when i dont no like before it kicks into making a baby i really dont want to confront my mom atall right now and im really confused and i dont no what to do for now should i just wait and see what happens or what i dont think i can get ne pills unless i tell my mom but yeah please help thanks bye (link)
The "withdrawl" method doesn't work. Sperm are released LONG before he reaches orgasm. The male will release small amounts of semen as a sort of "cleansing" and lubrication. That contains many little happy swimmers, so you run the same risk as anyone having unprotected sex.

I saw that you recently banned a guy who harrased me, is there any way I can see who the harraser was? Could you tell me who he or she was? If it helps, the question # is 394475 and I answered it nov 22 and it is a private question.
Thanks.
--caden-- (link)
While I know who I banned and can look this up, I feel it is not a good idea to hand out that information - it is shared only with the other administrators of the site.

In the future, I would recommend you not reply to people who are abusing the system and report them only. There's no sense in trying to provoke a flamewar with someone.

I'm 19 years old and I still look like I'm in my preteens. My body hasn't fully matured and I'm pretty much coming to terms with that. My question is as follows:

What physical characteristics (other then large breasts) most define a woman?

I rate. (link)
See, large breasts don't define a woman. There's something in the face, an expression that is just there - so few "girls" can pull it off. There's also something to be said for poise and confidence. There's a gigantic world of difference between a 13 year old and a 19 year old - a 19 year old will generally have greater poise to her actions and expressions - less of the wild-eyed wonderment and more of an expression of knowing and overall understanding.

I'm failing to find the words that I'd ideally like to use. Perhaps something regarding "lines" but I don't want it to sound like I'm referring to wrinkles or aging poorly... that's not it at all.. just something more "defined" that can only come with age.

if you dont need contacts/glasses can you still get color contacts?! if so where and how much are they?! thanks! (link)
non-prescription cosmetic contacs are linked to eye infections and permanent eye damage. There is currently proposed legislature to make them no longer for sale over-the-counter due to many injuries, including people losing their sight. At the moment, these things can be purchased even at gas stations - but the quality of the material is poor, and the potential clealiness of the lenses should be held suspect. There are no formal regulations on the manufacture of cosmetic contact lenses.

The new law will make them fall under the jusrisdiction of the FDA and regulate their manufacture and sale as not a cosmetic device, but as a medical device. This will make buying fake colored lenses more difficult, but will ensure safety.

So, what am I saying? That right now, these things are sold everywhere, but that you should use great caution when considering using them. There is a risk involved that most people seem oblivious to, until they really hurt themselves or get an eye infection.

what is the gas in light bulbs need it for revision (link)
Usually light bulbs are filled with argon or xenon.

what does Bb mean in keyboard tabs? What chord is it? (link)
Bb is B-flat. The major triad is Bb, D, F
Bb7 is Bb, D, F, Ab
BbM7 is Bb, D, F, B
Bbsus4 is Bb, Eb, F
etc etc etc

whenever you see a little "b", that's the easiest way to indicate a flat symbol.

ok i love fire and i love watching it ........ well today i almst burn down my house because i lit something on fire that i couldnt put out....... how do i stop this!!!!! is there anything i can do to stop mself from playing with fire!??! (link)
pyrotechnics are when people set off fake explosions for effect...

pyromaniacs burn things out of compulsion - this is an actual psychological disorder - if you are a true pyromaniac, you should seek professional help with this.

I knew a girl was an alcoholic and a pyromaniac. She would get piss drunk and set things on fire, like her own apartment, the dumpster behind her house (almost setting the electrical lines on fire), or the house next door (guy woke up to the smell of lighter fluid and her on their porch trying to light it on fire with a bottle of beer in her hand). She failed out of college, to say the least.
