You should not take anything with codeine for long - codeine is an opiate and can be addicting - it will also screw you up (taking too much can cause paranoia, taking it at all can cause constipation - doesn't that sound fun).
Ibuprofen is fairly innocuous, but can cause issues with your stomach lining, and taking it for no reason for too long will cause long-term liver and kidney damage.
Taking any medication continuously is generally not good unless it has been prescribed and you follow the regimen with intermittent supervision from a heath professional. [ MFS's advice column | Ask MFS A Question ]
