Q: Does anyone have or had scoliosis? and had to have surgery?? if so what was it like? thanks!

I might have scoliosis, but my friend just got surgery a few months ago. It didn't really hurt too much, and you get out of school for awhile. Besta Luck

It depends on the guy. Some guys like when you smack their ass, others like it if you just write them a little note. But you should just be yourself...that helps alot. Besta Luck

Q: my dad hits me. and i'm really afraid of him. when he comes home from work i stay in my room. but whenever i do something wrong. even when i get less than an A on a test he'll hit me and say i'm not living up to my potential. i don't know what to do. You can kick that dumb bitch in his balls. You can go to a couselor, teacher, family member. Anyone you feel close to. And yes, you can be adopted. GET THAT DUMBASS ARRESTED....

I don't understand what you are asking. But I think you should just accept the fact that your ex friend and her ex-friend are both assholes. Try to find someone else to love, and just let go of her. Besta Luck

Q: ok i was on vacation at this place my grandparents take us to with all our family, sorta like a camp, and i was singing at the dance one night, and it was sorta like the kick off of the weekend, and they were gonna pay me 200 dollars for each song depending on how good i did, and i really needed the money because my grandmother wanted a new camper, and i wanted to help out. but my x boyfriend showed up in the middle of my song and i choked and skipped a few notes when i saw him, because i really did still love him and we broke up because we moved. anyway i told the person that sold us the camper i would have the 600 dollars the next day, and since i choked i came up 100 dollars short, and i dont wanna tell my grandmother because i feel as if i let her down, and i dont want her to think i did. i dont know how to get the other 100 dollars.

I'm sure your grandmother will understand what happened. But, if you don't want to tell her, try to round up 100$ from people around camp, or ask family for it. Besta Luck

Tell your friend that you love your boyfriend, and would really appreciate it if he stopped flirting. Then, convince your boyfriend that you only love him. Besta Luck

Q: i'm 14 and i think about sex kind of a lot because this one guy that i really really like wants to have sex w/ me but i don't really want to but then again i look at some of my friends that are 14 and they've lost their virginity already but i don't really want to have sex w/ this one guy but then i do..i'm confused and i don't know if i'm totally out of my mind for thinking about this but i don't want to have sex w/ him but then i do..is it bad to even think about it when i'm 14?

If you're not sure if you want to have sex or not, than don't. It's not bad to think about it, I would wait though. Don't always look at your friends and go that way, sometimes they are wrong. Just don't do anything you don't want to. Are you sure he isn't just using you for sex? Besta Luck

Q: Well, see I was at my friend's house and I didn't like my boyfriend at the time so i broke up with him with my friend. I was happy and stuff. But as soon as I broke up with him i felt really bad because I didn't only brake up with him I was mean and rude to him. The next day I talked to him and he said he stayed up the whole night crying and he was praying that I would come back to him. I did go back to him because I relized I did like him and it just took awhile to relize it. So now we are going out again and things are better then ever. Except, I told my best friend and she said alot of things like she said that why did you brake up with him if you didn't like him. I said I didn't like him at the time and it just took me awhile to relize it. Also she said alot of guys like me because I am "Hott" but she said by the way you aren't. That got me mad 1 because not all the guys like me because I am "Hott" they like me for other reason also. And 2 because how could by best friend say that to me that I am not pretty. I can tell you from experience...
Mom- If the dad is an alcoholic, it makes her seem like she is worthless and not doing something right. She than gets over protective of her kids.
Dad- If the mom is an alcoholic, he feels like he made her turn that way and he gets mad whenever she is drunk.
Kids- Feel like it's their fault and they try to work things out./Failing grades sometimes
Neighbors- Destroyed property

To Get a Boyfriend: Just be yourself. It doesn't help if you act like an energetic, outgoing person and end up being shy and soft spoken.
And about the kissing thing...your not the oldest one who has never been kissed, some people wait till marriage to even touch someone else. Just wait...it will come. Besta Luck

Q: this is kinda long so bear with me! :)

a lot of the friends i made were from middle school and we've been friends throughout high school. the thing is, they were a-ok people in middle school. but when high school rolls around it appears that they've changed into hypocritical, outspoken, dramatic, and selfish people. don't get me wrong, i'm not exaggerating nor am i taking things out of context. if you met them, you'd know! take for example a girl who makes fun of the fat people in our school, when she weighs 200 lbs. a girl who complains and whines over an A- on a test. someone who cannot accept the fact that they are wrong. someone who doesn't make any effort for your birthday, or christmas, when every year you get them something.

because of their "new" personality traits, i dropped them because they did not fit my basic ideal aspects in a friend anymore. and whenever i find a new friend, in the end they end up betraying my trust, using me for money, or being just plain inconsiderate to a point that i cannot tolerate anymore.

note, this has happened with nearly 95% of the friends i've had my entire lifetime...

i'm not a bad person for them to be obligated to do such things, but i do admit that i can be a little too trusting and naive at times. is that what they're taking advantage of, or is there something else...? why would they do this to me?

also, because these experiences have given me a new perspective on friendships (not to trust people so easily!), how do i know if i can fully trust someone and that they will be a good friend???

I think you shouldn't rush into friendships so fast. I know it sounds wierd, but try to get to know what kind of person they are. I'm not saying do a full backround check and see their records, but just see if they are 1. hanging with what you consider "the right crowd" and 2. they are someone who you could trust. After you decide that, just build up on the friendship. I know that I can't trust someone unless i've known them for awhile. And about the last part, you know you can fully trust someone when they don't talk about you behind your back, aren't hypocritical, don't hang out with the wrong people, aren't broke and always asking for money, and the list will always continue. Try to open up you mind of what you consider a good friend, because there is probably someone who meets those standards right infront of you. Besta Luck

Q: Ok i've liked this boy for almost a year now and he's known for quite some time. Of course, like a typical girl trying to get the guy, i've flirted and such. I think that guys *sometimes* tell their guy friends dumb stuff about their girlfriends because they might think they are move of a man if they talk shit behind their back. I would confront him about it, because if he is going to talk bad behind your back, there is no sense in becoming more attached to him than you already are. Besta Luck

I would go to your mom and tell her. I'm sure she would respect your decision and be glad you don't want to get pregnant. If you don't want to, you can always tell her you need to speak to a doctor privatley. I would tell your mom though. There is only so many things you can hide before she finds it. Besta Luck

I think you should talk to your mom about how you feel. Make it clear that you really think he is a piece of shit. Try to get her to understand that you don't think he is the right choice for her. About moving in with your mom or dad: Ask if you can live with both. Like one parent for 1 month and the other parent for another. Besta Luck

I think you should just tell yourself that he isn't going to consider you to be a freak or terrorist. Most guys love it when a girl approaches them. If you don't know how to start a conversation, maybe ask them where they got their pants/watch/shirt/shoes/etc. Ask something like "Wow, those are really nice looking pants. Where did you get them?". I think if you know that he really cares about you, you should talk to your mom about how you feel. Since you are only 13 and he is 17, I would try to get her to understand that he likes/loves you too. Besta Luck
