Don't listen to those stupid "unwritten rules." They're stupid. Date WHOEVER you want, WHENEVER you want. It's your life, don't let some stupid rule that doesn't exist own you. Tell your best friend how you feel about him. If she was really your friend, she'd back off. But if you talk to her about it and she just ends up dating him anyways, she was never your friend & she never cared how you felt anyways. Anyways, just be cool, play it out, and keep talking to him. But you can't make him like you. I'm sure he will over time.

1/f here. My best friend, who is 16/m, used to call me everytime he had any spare time to hang out. Even if it was for 30 minutes, he'd call and fit me into his schedule. Now, he'll be home for 4 hours and never call, things like that. I've talked to him about it, but he's always like, "I'm not home". Except I know he is, cause his friends will tell me he stays home and plays videogames instead of hanging out. Why could this be? Does anyone have any clue just why, out of the blue, he'd stop asking me to hang out?

Hanging out with the same person a lot can be annoying. Maybe he just wants a break for a little while.

I was just wondering, is there anyway to get a black eye to kinda heal or whatever, like my friend has a black eye, and I wasnt sure if I should get her to put ice on it, or like to just leave it alone.

Putting ice on it will just take the swelling down, which will cause to go away eventually. Just have her put ice on it & rest her eye.

Okay, so i heard my dad talking about once i turn 16 i can move out of the house whenever i wanted, but my parents would still have to look out for me. There was something else he said.. but he was whispering it to his girlfriend and when i asked him about it he was like.. you would be a big girl.. so he was obviously hiding something. My parents have been going to court lately over child custody and stuff and i wondered if anyone knew anything about turning 16 and what are some of the legal things that i can do. Well, you can't vote, but you can drive & work. You can legally drop out of school and no one can say anything to you about it. I doubt you can move out of your house since most places won't let you rent until you're of age, which would be 18.

This may be a bit long. Bear with me.

There have been quite a few times my boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex. Well my period is usually like clockwork and right now I'm 10 days late.

Well when I was, I think, 5 days late I went to the doctor and had a pregnancy test done. It was negative. The doctor did say the tests weren't 100% accurate, so that didn't help me out at all.

Well now, I'm 10 days late. I took a pregnancy test last night (The Clearblue Easy Digital Pregnancy Test) and it came back Not Pregnant. I'm still not sure if this thing is right though. Friends of mine said, even though they were like 8 weeks along, tests would still show them as not pregnant. Has anyone else had this happen before?

Lately, I've been having these dull pains in my stomach lately, and sometimes they're really sharp. (Not like cramps at all). I've also been having a lot of discharge (sorry if that's TMI). I actually thought my period had shown up one morning but wasn't the case. My boobs are also sore, especially around the outside and I keep burping a lot (even though I only drink water). My appetite has increased greatly, but I always feel nauseous after I eat. It's strange. I'm not sure what's going on.

Could someone please help me?

Also, when is the best time to take a pregnancy test?

I felt like that too, and I actually got my period around 8olcock on the 9th. So, it wasn't pregnancy. If you're completely unsure, don't buy a storebought pregnancy test. Those don't always tell you the truth, as you've found out. My boyfriend's biological mother works out the nearby hospital and she said that urine pregnancy tests were 98% accurate, and blood pregnancy tests were 100& accurate. Get one of those. =)

Hi. I know i have posted something similar to this before, but i just want to see more opinions. I am 15 years old, blonde hair, blue eyes and i am about 5'5ish and 110 pounds and i am a 36A but i think i need 38A bras now, the others are gettin small. I wanted to have a new look because i just think its time to move on from the tomboy look. I am not too fond of skirts, but i bought a couple because my friend said that they looked nice. I just have no idea what kinds of shoes to wear, (i dont like uggs, flats or anything like that, just like tennis shoes maybe?) I wanted to know what sort've shirts that would be good for a flat girl, and that would look good, i heard v necks would be good. Uggs and flats are actually pretty cute, and they can make an outfit. Go to American Eagle or Hollister. Get ripped jeans, hoodies, and shirts. They've got some nice shirts there, and it doesn't matter about chest size. If you want, heels are cute too. Tennis shoes don't always go with skirts, and it can look sorta bad sometimes. So I don't recommend that with every skirt you wear. Buy some cute jewelery from Macy's. I've got some Guess necklaces that are really cute. For makeup, all you need is like eyeliner and mascara. A lot of makeup looks clownish & super bad. Have your friend go shopping with you, she could probably help you out more.

ok, so my friend likes this guy right.. and at one of our skool dances, i asked him if he liked her and he was all idunno ... i guess.. he gave her a huge hug at the end of the dance, and she is like soooo excited!
So i guess my question is.. how can i find out if he likes her.. like without being a pest to them..??

Don't keep asking him. It'll intimidate him & ultimately make him feel like he HAS to like her for you guys to leave him alone. Just let nature run it's course, and if he likes her, they'll end up together.

My predicament is pretty complicated, I gotta say. I don't really want flimsy answers or something that's just going to reiterate what I've typed down. Solutions people, I need soluttionnnssss.

Ok. So. To start at the beginning I met this guy. I'm practically the only democrat in my school so when I met him and found out he was a democrat I was more attracted to him. So we've talked for a long time and he's been really nice, and I draw in class and he's taken an interest in my art and all that stupid sappy cheesy CRAP.

But anyway. One day he tells me he's making a Bolshevik's club at my school. I had no idea what the Bolshevik's were; I just assumed it wasn't anything bad because he wasn't a bad person and we seemed to share the same views. He showed me what he wanted, and it was a girl and a boy standing side by side and the arms closest to eachother are raised. The girl is holding a sickle and the boy is holding a hammer-thing, and they're crossing them. So I just agreed and said I'd try and get it done over the weekend.

Well I come home, and decide to do some research on these 'bolsheviks'. Sadly, I came to find they were communists. Communism is not something I believe in. It is an extremely left wing theory where all classes are to be equal. I don't think anybody can excell or live up to their full potential that way. I just don't find it fair, or right.. if we lived in a communist world what would the point of trying be?

So I was naturally appalled that I had agreed to endorse this club with my drawing. But what was I going to do? I still kind of like this guy even if he is a little extreme, but I don't want to support communism with my drawing (the drawing would be used on flyers around my school to support the club)

So, I have to have come to a solution by sunday night, at least.. help me, please?

Okay, so his beliefs of political government are a little different from yours, so what? If you really liked him, you would set that difference aside and see him for everything else. Communism is actually a pretty good idea, but when put to test, it just doesn't work. It's intended for good, but works out for the worst. I can't believe you'd let something such as this bother you. How shallow.

I don't care if this makes you sound rude, but tell this kid to get a fucking life. Seriously, bothering you through myspace & at school to go out with you? What the hell? Block him on MySpace, and hope he never finds out your sn for your messengers, AND tell him at school that you don't like him that way. If you know what you're fighting about, try and avoid it. Chances are, it's the little, stupid things. Things that shouldn't even be fought about. Just talk to her about it & hopefully you guys can come up with something to stop.

I have never been too good when it comes to math and science. In geography, reading, and english I make all A's. With math, it's normally a B or C. In science my average is probably about a low B also. I don't see anything wrong with a B, but my school uses something called mygradebook.com and everytime my father goes on it to see my grades and it's below an A on anything...he yells at me and grounds me. I've tried explaining to him that I'm doing my best, but he either grounds me or yells at me till I'm in tears. I have a tutor, I study, I DO EVERYTHING! What can I do to get him to stop and realize that I'm trying my best?

He's asking too much out of you. Just explain to him that you're doing your best. Usually a parent would love it that they're child was doing their best, but you're dad has super high standards that you just can't do. Explain that to him calmly. If you throw a fit and say "WELL I CAN'T DO IT. UGH." he's not gonna take you seriously, and it's just gonna end bad.

I was going out with this one guy that I really liked for a little over a month. But then he started wanting to know where I was, who I was with, and all that stuff. He called me a million times a day and when I didn't answer his call he'd keep calling until i'd pick up. or he'd leave messages cussing at me asking why the f*** I wasn't answering my cell. If you bugs you through IM, save the instant messages, or print them. Save the emails, or print them too. Save the text messages, voicemails, everything. Save it all. Take it the police & get a restraining order. This kid sounds a little weird, and I wouldn't wanna be around him.
