Hey everyone!My name is Brina,I've been on this site for a few years, after not being on for a while, I figured I'd start up again, having more knowledge then before! I'm 19 years old and am going to be a sophomore in college this coming fall! Please feel free to ask me anything!

Ive had this best guy friend for a while. We went out a few years ago, and it lasted fr over a year, things got rocky, and we're still very good friends.

But recently it's been obvious that theres been attraction between the two of us. We hung out the other day and one thing led to another and we got to the point of almost having sex. I stopped it and went home. Tomorrow we are hanging out together again, and i know the same is going to happen. The thing is, i REALLY want to have sex with him because we had such a great relationship, but it just feels funny.

Would it be be wrong and "slutty" of me to do so?

How old are you first off? 13 to the age of 17? I would suggest not to have sex. You've been friends, but your going to have sex without having a strong love relationship? I suggest you dont have sex with him. It wouldnt be slutty, but it would be weird for you to do that when your not exactly bf or gf, ya know? It probably feels funny because you are good friends. I would suggest to become boyfriend and girlfriend for a while, because, most likely, you'll have sex, and then you wont date, you'll still just be friends, probably friends with benifits, and that could lead to getting pregnant.I would just, hold off. Does anyone know of any good diet pills that actually WORK?!

I dont believe in diet pills as many of the others who answered this said as well .I suggest trying to go on a healthy exercising and eating diet. Most diet pills can hurt your body very badly. I'm sure there are certain types out there, but they are perscribed to people. Good Luck!

Me and my gf havent exactly been getting along we cant talk much it neva works, we hug sometimes, and we dont do anything else either because there was a problem and we said we'd work it out but obviously not and im a shy guy and i get pretty depressed often and today one of her friends(also friend of mine) told me my gf wants me to stop me getting into depressive moods and make more of an effort to make the first moves or she will dump me. And then her friend also told me that she also liked another 2 guys and she things my gf is just using me.
But when i was 1st goin out with her i have neva been as happy and im not sure i wanna give up on her and thus lose that happiness.

You are totally not being stupid. You have every right to be conserned about whats going on in your relationship. Find out the truth from your girlfriend.About the first moves, if she wants, she should do the first moves if shes so worried about it. You really should talk to your girlfriend about all of this. I'm not sure if you should dump her, when you find the true facts about how she feels, and if the things your friend said are true, then i would suggest only being friends with your gf. Good Luck!

Well, I'm not aloud to date till i'm 16, but I think i can give you advice on this. Your friends should absolutely not get mad if a boyfriend isnt cute. It matters on the inside. It is completely shallow to make fun or peoples boyfriends for not being cute because theres are cuter. i think that people that do that are shit on a stick. Hope I helped.

Nope. Seems to me that the girl is a skank. And i dont hang out with skanky people. Why would you want to be friends with her hun if she is mean to you and lies to her friends? That is now friend. I'm guessing you acts like this towards you? If so, tell her that it's not right.Good Luck!

Ok. There was this baby i was babysitting and a little kid. i put them to sleep and i was watchin TV. then i heard the baby cry. i ran upstairs and the little kid was ontop of the baby! i do not know hwat to do!! i dont want to tell the parents but the baby might be hurt. HELPP

What was the kid doing on top of the baby? Well, deffinitly tell the parents. Why wouldnt you? The kid shouldnt be doing that. Like you said, the baby could get hurt so it would be a good idea to tell the parents just in case anything is wrong. Good Luck!

I am going to be a freshman this year, and I have just started talking to this guy. Well, He is going to be a junoir and i know him from my sister--who is going to be a senior.
I have started having feelings for this guy. We talk alot online, and he is really sweet. But there are two problems. 1)He has a girlfriend 2)He still see's me as a kid.
Now both of those are really..hard. Because I think he see's me more of a little sister, then a friend. And it is so tough to deal with. Because I know i am not brave enough to tell him how I feel. And I know he doesnt feel the same. What should I do?

Hey. I used to like a guy who is older then me, and he had a girlfriend. He saw me more as a friend too. And like you, I was not brave enough to confront him.Did he actually say to you that he see's you as a kid? Just, hang out with him and maybe he'll start thinking of you being older or something. Hey. Just let them know that it was one thing that they will never see again.lol. Hopefully your not having real sex... But anyways,you know how us girls can act about silly stuff like that. Tryouts for my school's volleyball team start the week before school starts. My mom also works a lot and the only week she has off is that same week, so she planned for our family and her cousin and my cousins to all go to my grandparents lake for that week. I'm in 8th grade, and last year I made B team, so its not like volleyball is all I do. I also go to the lake every year, so its not like I'll never be there again... and if I miss tryouts I can't play at all. Should I go on vacation or stay and play volleyball????

I'm sure there will be other times to visit your grandparents. I suggest go to the tryouts, because it is something that you seem like you like to do. Call your grandparents up and say sorry you couldnt visit this time. So, yea tell your mom you want to do tryouts if thats what ya wanna do. Good luck hun.

okay well i got my period summer before 7th grade.. and im in the summer before 9th grade right now....and i still havent used tampons!! at first i really just, didnt feel the need to..but now i feel the need to and all my friends do and i just cant.. ive tried a couple times but idk.. ive done it with a mirror on the floor, and one of my legs on the ground and one up.. so i can see what im doing.. and it looks as if there is something blocking where i am supposed to be putting it... does that sound normal? i REALLY want to just somehow shove it up there but i dont know exactly what im doing.. ive read instructions and even books made for girls called Caring For Girls... please help i think there issometing wrong with me down there... thanks a bunch sry if i grossed you out=)

You dont have to use tampons just because your friends are! Just keep on practicing, if you dont get the hang of it ask one of your friends, or your mom, or female guardian lol.I dont think theres anything blocking your way to put in the tampon. Good Luck!

Sometimes after we have sex (we use a condum) sperm will be on me or him and he worries that it will travel into my vagina and make me pregnant. I've always heard that once sperm hits the air it's dead. Who's right?

Yea, make some flyers, put on it your age, and first name. Then, make little pieces of paper with ur number on it so that people can just pull it off of the flyer. Find out if you can put it up in your local supermarket or conveinent store. Write down what ages you can babysit and things that you know how to do, such as diapers. Good Luck! Start showing him your true personality. Be flirty and funny. But, dont change how you look or how you act to get him to like you. I'm sure if your a nice funny person he would possibly like you. Just remember though, that not all guys will like you. Find out if he is going out with someone before you " make your move". If he doenst have a girlfriend then talk to him and ask him how he feels about you. Call him up on the phone and talk to him. It might be easier than talking to him in person. But if YOU want to ask him out after you find out his true feelings then do it in person. I dont really know what category this goes as so I guess I will put it under "spirituality".

I'm getting older, and I dont want to turn into those kind of brats who think their parents are nitties, and are trying to ruin their fun and that they dont understand them. I really dont. Though I just dont understand why they dont understand sometimes. I try to be good, but being the middle child is tough. I have a older sister, that can be a good friend and sometimes annoying, and a younger brother, that is 13 years younger than me. I dont know if Im jelous of him getting all the attention, but Im sick of being misunderstood and, well.. the middle child! I try not to act like Im upset, even though I am, by trying to be optimistic, but I am just upset about things I dont even know, and I try to act normal for others benefit. Sympathy bothers me, kind of. Also, if Im told to do something, and I was about to do it without being told, it just makes me not want to do it anymore. Sometimes I still wonder who I am, and I just dont know how to express it into words here. I always have fantasies of things that would by far come true, some involving magic (which I believe in) By the way, I dont take drugs, or smoke, etc. Also sometimes I get extremely.. well I cant think of a word for it. Cautious? Like when I turn off the light, I get scared and make sure that the light is turned off all the way, because I fear fires. And so on. I dont mean to blab, but, I just dont know. I SO do NOT want to be a pessimistic, and a depressed person, that gets so depressed that they kill themselves with a needle or something (which I think is extremely nasty and not worth it) and I will try to see the cup half full.

You just need to take a deep breath. You'll probably always feel that your brother gets more attention, meanwhile you most likely get as much as him unless you dont. It's normal to make sure the light is turned off all the way. I would want to make sure also. I feel the same way about doing stuff when being told. I hate it. I have curly hair too, and i have side bangs wich i can straighten, and i have a small forehead lol. I'm pretty sure side bangs would make your forehead look a bit smaller. Dont get front bangs, get diaganal ones cuz front bangs are so the 90's if ya know what i mean. Ask your hair dresser if it would look good just to make sure. Good Luck! HOpe i helped. I have a very bad case of Arachnephobia. I've always been afraid of spiders, but it wasn't always like a phobia. (Phobia here is defined as an irrational fear that interferes with normal living). It started about a year or two ago, when after a shower, I was toweling off, and there was a large spider on my towel. I hated spiders, so I flung the towel across the room, and spend the next half hour curled up, crying. It scared me half to death. Then later, my cousins and I went to a park, and there was a profusion of spiders. My little cousin Andy loves spiders, so he pointed out every single one. They were each about 4-6 inches long. After about five minutes, I couldn't take it anymore. I hid in the car and cried. Things reached their worse when last month, I woke to find a strange bite on my arm. I figured it was just a bug bite, and ignored it. By noon that day, the area near the bite had swollen into a huge bump, about three inches long and one across, and at least a half inch high. I was feeling naseous, and terrified. I was so afraid that I refused to sleep in my bed that night.

Things have just gone down hill from there. Some nights, I won't sleep because I am afraid of the spiders. I check my blankets almost every night, and sometimes sleep in another room. I shake my towel out before using it. I check the shower and garage for spiders before entering. I know this is irrational and abnormal, but somehow I can't help it. What should I do?

Hey. I know how you feel. Except, i had a different phobia. Now, dont laugh, but i used to be afraid of Little Bunny Foo Foo. You know, the bunny who used to bop mice onthe head? Well, yea. I used to have nightmares about him and i couldnt get that stupid song out of my head. My family used to sing it and i would burst out crying. I used to ly awake hearing that song. I forgot what he looked like, but it still scared me until i went on a cruise and this kids camp on it they sang little rabbit foo foo instead of bunny, and i thought it was funny, so i wasnt scared of him anymore. Now, i suggest that you talk to your parents. I'm sure there are places you can go to overcome your fear of spiders. I'm not fond of spiders either, i just smoosh them when i see them lol. They are much smaller then you and can not hurt you, unless it is a poisunous one which i'm sure you will not find anytime soon. Good Luck! If you had to pay a bunch of money for it then it might be one were you have to dress nicely. If your absolutely not sure, i would wear a nice outfit, but not to fancy, something that can be classified as casualy fancy lol, if ya know what i mean. How old are you? Are you inbetween the ages of 13- 19? If so, that's way to young to think about having a baby unless you are ready to take care of a crying baby, who needs sooo much. You'll probably have to spend like 100 dollars on clothes all together, 50 dollars on formula 50 dollars for babybottles and other objects, toys you'll have to buy. It will ruin your future.The easiest time to get pregnant is when you have money, a house and a decent job. Even though, a baby is a wonderful thing to have, if you dont have a decent job and enough money to take care of it thats not good.
The boyfriend "pulls out" most likely because he doesnt want a kid becasue he's too young if hes in between that age. You cant just want to get pregnant and not let the father of it take place in its life. You think that will be good for the baby? I mean this from the bottom of my heart that i was not tyring to ridicule you, i was just letting you know what it would be like. I understand what your saying, i dont want to have a baby and dont have the issue with it like you do, but i kinda understand. If your boyfriend doesnt want kids now, then you should respect that. It's not messed up what your saying, you just need to think things through. I think that if you do get pregnant you will regret it. Why dont you take up a babysitting job, so that you can like, take care of kids instead of having one. Why do you want a baby? Do you know why?
