There's a tiny lining that needs to be torn before you can get the tampon in, and it doesn't hurt, but it may feel a bit uncomfortable, as may the tampons until you've used them a few times. You have to insert the tampon at a bit of an angle, like aimed at the small of your back for most girls, and it should be fine. If you still have problems, talk to your doctor. Hope this helps. :)

well i felt the same way. the easiest way to do it is to get slim fit ones that are plastic they are much easier to use. i used to have to use a mirror and all that too but after a day or 2 u get used to it enough to do it without. just if it makes u nervous make sure your in no hurry and you not going anywhere incase you did it wrong and you need to fix it or whatever

hope i helped

I read that book, and its crap, cuz it doesn't say anything about your hymen (which is blocking the tampon, cuz your a virgin most likely. Pads are better, and there is nothing wrong with you.

For some women, it takes a little while before you can use tampons. I used pads myself for nearly 3 years before I could use a tampon.

If you're dead set on using a tampon, try to relax. When you're tense, all muscles in your body tighten up, including down there. That's probably what you feel blocking the tampon. A woman's body is made to accommodate things going in or out.

You might try sitting on the toilet or squatting to put it in. Angle the tampon up and back and gently slide it in.

I've always had better luck with plastic applicators since I feel they slide better. You may also be using too big of a tampon. Try Platex Slimfits or Tampax Satin Teen tampons. These are generally smaller and should be easier to get in.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Nothin is wroung with you. It hurts like a bitch the first like 100 times. How i learned to do it is i actully asked my mom!! I was totally embarrsed but it helped cause she totally new how do to everything. Its really easy when u get it and its so much easier than pads. Sometimes those direction things dont give you the right information. ( I learned that the hard way )
Hope i helped!

Okay, well you don't have to use tampons. There's no law against using pads, a lot of girls do that and have never used tampons. It's totally normal. You might still have your hymen, which is fine, it should break when you put the tampon in. Or you might not. Try masturbating first, and get used to feeling your fingers inside of you. And don't shove it in...that's bad.

You dont have to use tampons just because your friends are! Just keep on practicing, if you dont get the hang of it ask one of your friends, or your mom, or female guardian lol.I dont think theres anything blocking your way to put in the tampon. Good Luck!

Nothing is wrong "down there" at least I dont think. Okay well see there's 2 holes. Im not trying to be gross but you have to put it in the second hole. Dont just shove it in I mean you have to be careful tho. You must be doing it wrong tho. So just relax and slowly put it in. ll ♥ ll
