how do i find kids to babysit?
I'm 13 and i'm looking for a way to earn some cash, and babysitting seems the best way, trouble is i dont really know anyone i could babysit! does anyone have any ideas on how i could find some customers??

One of the best ways is to put up flyers in a daycare center because there are a ton of kids there and their parents usually want to go out after a long day of work. Or you could ask your friends if they have any siblings.

okay a way to get a baby sitting job is to make fliers saying stuff about you and how much you want to charge trust me it works my sister wanted a baysitting job and that is what she did to get one so try my advice it does work

To earn money you could always:
-Make flyers and put them in the mailboxes in you neighborhood who you know have little kids
-Garage Sale/Yard Sale
- When you earn the money put it in the bank right away so you can take it out in a tim eof need (( like a shopping spree of something ))
- You could aways have a bake sale

try telling people at church, placing an ad in the newspaper, or see if you know anyone who has kids. surely there are some kids in your neighborhood, and thats good cuz you could walk. also, if you have younger siblings, you could watch them or their friends

Well.. I'm doing the same thing as you. I have nextdoor neighbors who have a little girl, and when they need me, they will call me. But, they never did yet. Well.. I would, ask a parent "Can you ask your friends if they need a babysitter?" And, probably one day you will get a phone call from one of your parents friends to babysit. Does your town have its own website? What I did was go to my towns website and go to "classifieds". It was pages upon pages of poeple in my town looking for help for various reasons. I found an ad for a man who needed a babysitter. I emailed him and he called me a few days later. My towns website also has an "announcements" page. I posted an ad there basically stating my age, and that I was looking for anyone in need of a babysitter. Leave your email address and phone number. Tell when youre available and if you have any experience. If you dont mind pets, add that since many people have pets and would like a babysitter who is comfortable around them. You could also ask your parents if they have any friends who have children that could use a babysitter. Let them know youre available, even if they only need you occasionally on a saturday night. A good idea that would reach a lot of people is putting up flyers where busy parents go a lot (i.e. grocery store, daycare center, near schools, busy neighborhoods, etc.) and asking your parents to talk to friends who have children. Do you have any family that has younger kids? You couild start there and your parent's friends might have kids so babysit them. If you put flyers up around your neighbor hood that might get a lot of peoples attention. But for now just start with family && friends and ask them if they know any people. ll ♥ ll

Yea, make some flyers, put on it your age, and first name. Then, make little pieces of paper with ur number on it so that people can just pull it off of the flyer. Find out if you can put it up in your local supermarket or conveinent store. Write down what ages you can babysit and things that you know how to do, such as diapers. Good Luck! ok well when i was little i used to go to this daycare..and the owner and my mom know each other because all my little brothers went there to..so if it were me i would go to the daycare and tell the owner im looking to babysit..and i would ask the owner to let the parents know about me or maybe have flyers about me and my number so they can call me if they need a babysitter
i would also put flyers around places with your number..
i would ask my mom and dad to tell people they work with that im willing to babysit if they need someone
i bet if you do that you will get plenty of offers!
