advice
hi, i was wondering if anybody knew how i could lose some flab on my thighs (inner thigh) and how quickly could i lose it? thanks
* Run (Do this every day and you'll soon see results.)
* Squats. (If squats are performed moderately they will tone the thighs and butt very quickly.) 3 times per week on alternate days. Start off very light by just using the body weight for 2-3 easy sets of 10 repetitions, then gradually build up the resistance over 3-4 weeks.

Ok..i play for a travel volleyball team and our first tournament is next weekend. Well..im the only new girl on the team..the rest of the players played last year and im really nervous that im gonna do bad in the game. I dont want the other girls to think im a bad player. How do i handle this?
My answer is, just play your best, and pretend it's just a practice. Practice before the game, so you're pumped.

This has been so hard, I can't decide if I like this guy or not. I think about him alot, dream about him, wait online to talk to him, it's crazy! Then, when I ask myself do I like him, I always say no. I just can't decide. My friend says it sounds like I do, but I just don't know. What can I do to make up my mind if I like him?

One thing that can decide whetehr or not you liek him is if when you're around him, do your palms get sweaty? Do you get butterflies? Is your heart beating fast?

at first my dad was thinking about letting me get a sidekick 3, but now he's totally against it and said my phone is "fine."
i need to pursuade him so maybe he will let me get a sidekick. i have verizon right now and my phone is kind of like the side kick and has a keyboard.
my dad thinks im wayyyy too young to have a sidekick. im 14. yet all of these little elementary and middle schoolers in 5,6 &7th grade have sidekicks.
i really want one so bad i havent shut up about it since it came out, so i need good reasons. nothing about the keyboard because i have a phone with that
I totally agree with you & don't understand why little kids have cell phones, let alone sidekicks!

hey, well right now i dress sorta like everyone else in the world. hollister, ecko, abercrombie, you know those famous brands. i would like to start dressing differently. like leggings, ballet flats, chunky necklaces, and other trendy items. im afraid of the reaction my friends will have. i know i should just be myself and not care what others think. its hard tho.
I was in the same dillema as you, 'cause you see, my 2 friends & I were all tomboys and NEVER would wear pink, or anything like Hollister. HOwever, the year after we all did that, I started to dress girly. THey didn't like it, but I continued to wear it. They finally got used to it, because they realized that I DIDN'T CHANGE MY PERSONALITY. That's all that matters. So dress the way you want & if they're your real friends, then they'll come to accept you. Hope I helped!

I'm 14/f and I'm usually very "in-style" and girly-- not sporty. I easily get cold. I am also outside a lot, but i absolutely hate hoodies and North Faces unless im just at school or something. Does anyone know a winter coat that looks lightweight, very warm, and not sporty at all? I prefer under $50 but I will go up to $75 if it's excellent quality.

f/16.. ok i have stretch marks on my upper arms and on my sides.. why? i mean i used to lift weights and then i stopped.. ok that doesn't make sense i guess im just wondering why i have them and how to get rid of them. ahh!
I have stretch marks too.
Stretch marks are a normal part of puberty for most girls and guys. When a person grows or gains weight really quickly (like during puberty), that person may get fine lines on the body called stretch marks. Stretch marks happen when the tissue under the skin is pulled by rapid growth or stretching. Although the skin is usually fairly elastic, when it's overstretched, the normal production of collagen (the major protein that makes up the connective tissue in your skin) is disrupted. As a result, scars called stretch marks may form.
Here are some things to consider if you want to make stretch marks less noticeable:
* Some people find that sunless tanning treatments (both over-the-counter lotions and sprays and in-salon types of treatments) can help cover up stretch marks. This doesn't work for regular tanning or tanning beds, though, because stretch marks themselves are less likely to tan. And as everyone knows, the sun and tanning beds do more harm than good when it comes to the long-term health of your skin. You also can buy body makeup matched to the tone of your skin that can make stretch marks all but invisible. Although some manufacturers make these cover-up products water-resistant, makeup may not be the best solution if you'll be spending a lot of time in the water.
* Speaking of pool or beach time, the good news is that current fashion favors many styles of bathing suits that also just happen to hide stretch marks. "Boy short" style suits (popular with many athletes because they don't ride up when a person moves) work well for hiding stretch marks on the buttocks and upper thighs. And because many swimmers prefer high-neck bathing suits, which can hide stretch marks in the chest area, there are usually lots of styles to choose from.
* Although there are tons of creams and other skin products on the market that claim to eliminate stretch marks, the truth is that most are ineffective and often costly. You can't make stretch marks go away entirely without the help of a dermatologist (a doctor who specializes in treating skin problems) or plastic surgeon. These doctors may use one of many types of treatments - from actual surgery to techniques such as microdermabrasion and laser treatment - that reduce the appearance of stretch marks. These techniques are expensive and are not usually recommended for people in their teen years because they are not finished growing and their stretch marks will probably diminish over time anyway.

Is it okay that I discharge between periods? Right before my period it gets pretty heavy, other then that its just .. like a normal flow of discharge until the next period. Is this okay?

I'm getting really frustruated with my mom. Everytime I don't get invited to a party or some big event my mom goes off asking me a million questions about why I wasn't invited. She rubs it in more and more that I wasn't invited in the first place. Then when I ask her to stop, she goes off about how dramatic I am and thats probably why I wasn't invited.
What should I do?
Personally, I wouldn't tell her anything anymore. Or tell her, calmly, that she's making you more upset. She may be doing it without realizing it.
