What exactly is this myspace virus.?what does it do? how can you tell if youve got it?

This myspace virus is just an anoying problem.
All it does is replicates itself on other peoples myspace pages. It is acquired when you view an infected persons page.
You can tell if you got it by seeing the following message in your profile

From what people have described on here, it doesn't sound like a virus, just someone phishing your password.

If you see bulletins posted by you when you didn't post them, this means you have it. Tom advises just to change your password.
The bulletins are not just about sex, mostly advertisers trying to get you to click on their websites.

If your talkin about the virus that post dirty bulletins under you account, than what you need to do is delete everything in your about me section or in books, movies. There's going to be some weird text in one of those sections that causes that virus. I had it, i had to rebuild my whole myspace page.

I'm not sure what it really is, but what it does is it posts bullitens/comments to your friends about like sex and stuff. hope you don't get it, it's really annoying.
