hi...ive recently jus started goin out with this guy, and i realli love him.
the problem is .. he isnt the type of guy (looks wise) i wudda gone for .. the only reason im goin out with him is because of his personality and caring side...is this stupid?

I did the same thing, I went out with a guy, even though he was horrendous to look at. I got made fun of for stooping so low. Well heres what I have to say, Honestly looks AREN'T everything. Yeah I'm sure you've heard it before, but, if his looks are holding you back, maybe he isn't the one.

Hey evreyone!.

So i have a werid feeling im gettin mono..
Does it start off feeling like a cold?

Anyways.
What are some things that woudl tell me if i had mono without going ot the doctor (i will if i get worse dont worry)

I'm tired a lot
my throat/ears/head hurts..
& i get on & off stomach aches..
that hurt like crazy at times...

So could you tell me if you have an idea.. I know no ones a docotr here but yea..

I started out the same way sorda last time i got sick btu i wasnt tired and my head wasnt hurting. and the doctor said ic ould possibly have mono exept teh fact im not tired kinda through it off but it turns out i never had it.. this is deffrently not what i had last itme.. Ive had not enought sleep-just the right amount- and too much this week an dim stiill tired.. blahh please help.

Those symptoms can range from anything from the common cold to something more serious as mono. Only a doctor can give you the definite answer.

However, this sounds alot like what happened to my brother. He was out of school for a month due to the severity of his mono. Therefor, I'd get it checked out asap.

I read once that guys like when girls show skin in moderation:

Such as;
Jeans, with a tank top.
Skirt with a fitted tee.
NOT tiny shorts with a tiny tank top.
Understand?

More conservative girls usually show they want a seriousy boyfriend :)

f/13 ok well i have this (im guessing its some type of cold sore?) but its a round thing of all these bumps(they look like 8 little white heads without the white in there lol) but it feels just like a cold sore but i belive i got this before when i was like 9? please help ohh and it feels just like a cold sore

I've had a bunch of those latley.
If they're sore, and they hurt alot, most
likely they are cold sores.

I recommend putting Carmex on them as much as possible. Carmex cures mine in about a day, give or take. Besure to wash your hands each time you touch them, or apply medicine to them, otherwise the infection will most likley just keep coming back.

Me and my best friend have been best friends since 4th grade, and now we are in 8th. We heard about the whole blood brothers thing and we want to do it, because we're not related but we're like sisters and we kink of want to make it official, but heres the bad part: She takes marajauna. She's knows it's bad for her but she's addicted. I was wondering if doing the whole blood brothers thing would affect me since she's a stoner. I love her and we want to be sisters I just want to know if her taking drugs would affect me in this.

I deff. would not recommend you guys doing that.
The marijuana can get into your blood,in addition to the amount of dieseases you two can both recieve from each other.

I've even heard of pepople dying from the "blood brothers" things because on person carried the blood that had HIV/AIDS in it.

I would recommend you guys staying away from the "blood brothers" pledge.
You can always do like they did on Full House where they buried each of their prize possesion together ;) hah.

Hi,

I recently bought some clothes from the Hollister at my mall. I am a 17 year old boy and think the clothes are nice.

When I got home and showed my 13 year old brother the clothes I got (a polo and a sweatshirt) he started screaming at me and said that only posers and gays were Hollister.

I know quite a few people don't like Hollister and quite a few people do.

I am wondering what people think of boys who wear Hollister?

You're clothes do not in anyway define your sexual prefrence or personality. Teenages, as the age of your brother, commonly think they do.

I personally love it when guys where Hollister, their clothes are some of my favorites, that usually means me and the guy have something in common.

You clothes are your choice, no one elses.

about 3 months ago, i was diagnosed with leaukemia=[. the doctor told me that i am gonna die after my 8th month. is he allowed to tell me this? he just flat out said... " in about 8 months your gonna die ", he made me my mom my dad and my brother cry. so anyways.... can he tell me this... and can i like sue him for it?

Regretably, the doctor is supposed to tell you this, but not so harshly. Doctors can be wrong about how long you have to live, most of the time they are.

The most important thing when trying to get over cancer, is faith. If you're willing to fight it, you can. I read a story about when doctors gave a girl 3 months to live unless she had the heart to fight it, her dad leaned in to kiss her cheek and tell her to try her hardest, and she punched him in the nose and permanently damaged his nose. Sounds harsh, but the moral is, she had what it took, and that punch was letting her family, and the doctors know she had that strength she needed. You can have that strength too. Hello,
I am a cheerleader for my school. I started out as a back-spot but they than placed me as a flyer, i was doing a heal kick in the air for the first time. When i came down i landed on the floor, they didnt ceach me. and I ended up spraining my ankle really bad. So now that i am recovered from my accadent they havent put me back in the air. I know my mom was a kinda pissed, well really pissed, so she called the coach and all. and i dont want to say something because I dont know what she all said. and when i ask her she doesnt tell me anything.... but i really really loved being in the air, and i was really good. what am i going to do??

During practice, if your not doing anything. Stand off pulling a heelstretch, arobesque or even a scorpian, make sure your coach see's you. After you're sure your ankle has healed, ask your coach if you can get back in the air, or atleast give it a shot. If he says know, ask him why, and tell him you respect him watching out for you, but flying is really what you love in cheerleading. If it still doesn't work, come to the gym on your own time with a group and stunt, make sure your coach knows your working hard for your spot again.

Well, my birthday is in 3 days. I'm turning 14.

My friend Jessica is supposed to come along with my 4 other friends. Jessica hasn't contacted me in 2 days and she didn't even mention my party. I invited her and she said she can most likely come!

But now I want to invite my friend Anne, but I'm not so sure I should because Jessica will get rather mad at me! I'm afraid she'll show up or call if I invited Anne, and I don't want her getting mad because I invited someone else because she didn't call me about it. That's the only reason I would have invited Anne, because Jessica hasn't contacted me in any way.

What should I do!?

Like your title says, Its your party, you call the shots. If you want anne to come, you invite Anne. Jessica can deal with it, it's her fault for not calling you. Just try not to hurt Anne's feelings by telling her shes a replacement.

Most guys in 6th grade are absolutley clueless when it comes to relationships. Been there, done that. Maybe he broke up with you, because it sounds like it was rather akward. It sounds a lot like he's matured and he knows what do with his feelings. Go for it, flirt back, maybe he'll ask you back out. If he does and he still doesn't act like a good boyfriend, then you make the moves. It might take some courage, but call him. Grab his hand, hug him first. He should catch on. Good luck :)

i'm a 13/f and all of my friends have already started dating. i havent even found out 1 guy that even likes me! my best friends called up my crush and asked him if he likes me. he said i'm not his type and that i'm too tall. i play volleyball and he plays hockey. so i think we have things in commen. but i just dont get it. i'm about 5'6 or 5'7 and he's around that height too. i am so sad now because i feel so behind. all of my friends have bf's and i dont even have a guy that likes me! i need some advice on how to make myself feel better about myself. please help!!!! thanks soo much!

Im getting contacts in a couple days (monday) and i was just wondering if anyone can tell me anything about them. IS it hard to put them in? Can they actually like slip down in your eye where you cant get them out? how long can you wear them? What will I have to do when i go to get them? Any tips or anything would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :)

I have contacts:
The first few days, it was tough getting them in. However, it gets really easy after that. The eye doctor will let you know how long it is safe to wear your particular brand of contacts.

Here are some tips to putting them in:
Wash your hands but thoroughly dry them, otherwise your contacts will try to stick to your finger.
Don't mix each eye's lenses up, that can hurt super bad.
Be sure to clean them well each night, getting makeup in them can really hurt too.
When taking them out, look out of the corner of your eye, then put your finger, (pointer) to your eye, slightly slide it down then pull out. Your contact you should slide right out.

my friend has tried to kill himself before. i just dont see why somebody why somebody would do that. because if you kill yourself, you automattically go to hell. and hell is more worse than anything you can be going through at the moment. so why would somebody wanna do this? i dont need help explaining this to my friend, he got help and he agrees with me on this.

When things get tough, wouldn't it be easier to quit and say forget this? Take a math test for example. If you can't solve the equations you'd rather just stop the test all together.

For a big portion, it's easy to ask your mom for a bra. I only wear a 34A and she thinks I don't need to buy a bra that much. I only have two, and I want more...but how do I drum up a conversation to ask her? I'm almost 14 (I know, I should be already familar with this) but I'm nervous. What's a great way to ask?

Naw, this isn't a stupid question.
Tell your mom you're uncomfortable walking around without a bra. If she still doesn't buy it, tell her you don't like changing in front of people (like, as in PE) because you don't have many) Just let her know bra's are important to you.

I'm a cheerleader also.

Here are somethings to work on:
Practice your motions, yeah you'll hear it ALOT, but trust me, it helps so much. Do each chant twice a night.
(If you're an AllStar cheerleader do each cheer a few times a night)

Practice the dance over and over again.
Be sure to stretch every morning and night for jumps. Do leg exercises such as Six Inches, or Leg Lifts to improve your jumps.

For being a base its all in technique.
Never lift with your arms, you may be doing this just out of habit. If you push with your legs and keep your back flat, your stunt with hit stronger with much ease.

Everything in cheerleading takes practice.
So like I said, review everything at home as much as possible.

Well how young are we talking here?
13 isn't exactly that old, so if he's like 10 I wouldn't ask him out. However if he's like .. idk 12 or 11 if you really like him then shoot for it.

wellll so. im a girl for starters.
so what should i wear for my drivers liscense becuase like i dont want to wear something that makes the picture look bad.

I suggest layering matching colored polos.
The picture is a head shot, so you'll be able to see your face and color.
Make sure your hair looks good, and don't over do it on your make up.

When they take the picture try gigling a little bit, that way you'll have a more natural smile.

I have this problem alot.
I usually go for dumping him and getting over it.
Then within a week, I want him back.

Really take time to think about this.
You don't want to make a choice because of your friend's opinions.

Try this:
When you see him, do you still get butterflies? Well, if yes, you still have feelings about him.

Guys can be great, guys can be horrible.
Sorta the Can't live with em, can't live without them type of thing ya know?
He's not perfect, so try to give him a break when he does something stupid. But make sure he knows whats right from wrong.
