I'm Jessie. I've been on here on and off for about 7 years. I'm 22 :) I am currently in my final year of college studying English and new media I'm from Ireland I dye my hair way too much. I've been blonde,brown,brown with blonde,black,red,and blonde again!I love helping people I found advicenators when I was just 15 and didn't understand the world! okay so im 15, in november i met this guy, lets call him jake. he was working and my friend is friends with him [jakes 17]. anyway so my best friend is friends with jake but hes never tried anything with her or anything so i know theyre just friends. anyway, he was working ad we walked by him and he texxted my friend saying "whos that girl your with" and my friend said "natalie, why" and he said "just wonderign". so they were texting and i was telling her that i think hes really hot and i wanna like get to know him. so while she was texting him her phone died and she asked me to text him from my phone and tell him that. so it exted him saying "hey this is natalie, kates friend, she said to text you and tell u that her phone died" and he replied saying "oh okk..guess ill have to text you now =)" so we started taklign then and we were texting all nightt. long story shortt, he made me a bet that if i wasnt at his work at 8:00 am the next morning i would have to kiss him. well, me and my friend forgot to wake up so we werent there the next morning. so that day we were texting a lot and he said i had to pay up and of course i wasnt complaining because i thought he was really cool and not to mention hott =] . so anyway, then that night he was asking me to tell him about myself and he was asking me my birthdayy, my friendss, my relationship statuss, all that stuff. so then i asked him the same questions. when i asked him if he was singlee he said 'as of a few hours ago', which means i agreed to kiss him while he had a girlfiend. but anyway, so this guy and i ended up kissing the next day and we were always texting. every time we saw eachother he kissed me hello and kissed me goodbye, and we hooked up a few times. he walked me to all of my classes and always texted me and everything. then he told me that he really liked me and i told him i liked him too. we had kind of a flirty relationship where i would text him with something like "heyy jerkk" and he would say "hey b*tch" or somethingg, but we knew we were just kidding around. so then there were rumors that we were dating but we weren't, we justs liked eachotherr and we kissed in schooland stuff. so then after like 3 months of this, we got in a big fight and didnt tlk for about 4 days. during the 4 days, my friend thats also friends with him told me that she was at his work again with one of our other friends and he texted my friend saying "whos that girl your with" and he started talking to that friend, and he said he would hook up with her. after our fight he still liked me and he said that he doesnt usually fall for girls like he fell for me and stuff. well, lately we've stopped talking and im almost positive he doesn't like me anymore, but i can't really stop thinking about him. everyone warned me about him and told me hes a player and be careful and that hes going to hurt me, but i believe him when he said he really was falling for meand stuff. i guess i was wrong about him but every time i see him i wanna talkt o him or kiss him but i dont. i really miss him a lot, but its over. does anyone have any advice for me? like how i can forget about him or maybe a way for him to start talking to me again without mentioning i miss him or like him or anything? thanks so muchh & sorry this was so long!
heyy okay my friend pretty much went through the exact same thing your going through with this guy. i could see he wasnt good for her and that he was a player but like you said she couldnt help still liking him and thinking about him but eventually she realised she was wasting her time and that he wasnt worth it and that she deserved someone alot better. you might not think it now and its probably killing you thinking about him but trust me it will pass and you will get over him and find someone 100 times better who will treat you right and aprciate you not like what this guy did which was extremely unfair and hurtfull messing around with your feelings like that. i hate to say it but god knows how many girls he did the same thing too..he is honestly not worth it and you dont need people like that in your life keep your head up and move on itl get easier trust me =]
Ok. I'm freaking out badly
So here it goes, i was drunk and i almost had sex with my friend.
Well i'm sure i'm still a virgin, but i remember him letting *it* in abit, like slightly, i'm not sure exactly i was drunk.
That was like a week ago, and i'm supposed to get my period like around the days from the day it happened until like after couple of days (thats like when im supposed to get my period)
To whoever is confused, we did it wednesday.
So from wednesday,thursday,sunday,monday,tuesday,wednesday,thursday,friday,saturday (today is tuesday) and the dead line is saturday I SHOULD GET MY PERIOD SATURDAY not saturday exactly all those days in between wendesday to saturday.
Can i be pregnant? I'm really scared

This exact same thing happend to my sister about a month ago and luckily she wasnt she got hers a few days after it was due. so dont panic just yet it could just be late but your paying even more attention to it now considering what happend relax and give it a week after saturday and then still nothing take a pregnancy test to be sure dont stress yourself out worrying yet.
but you really should be alot more careful use this as a warning for next time if all is a false alarm. i hope everything works out for you im sure your just over re acting if as you said it only ent in slightly then the chances are higher in favour of you NOT being pregnant =]

Okay,
I am 23 and my older sister is 29. We never really had a relationship but I have a facebook and I try to get to know her off the site.
My older sister has 3 young children and one on the way and she's also been married for 5 years.
It bothers me because I as well as my parents feel like she sort of disowned us once she had her first child back in 2006. She never visits my mother and rarely has contact with my father...yet alone her and I are almost complete strangers. It hurts me but there is SO much I want to say to her because I am angry that she never even asked me or my younger sister to be her brides maid at her wedding, and she never calls us or even stops by and when I do talk to my older sister on facebook it's almost like she cops an attitude and brushes me off completely and I really want her to know I'm fed up with it etc. but I don't know how to tell her because well again I don't know her and I don't want to come across as the type that dwells on the past plus she is about 7 months along and I don't want to get her too upset.
What should I do?
Wow i have to say im pretty saddend by that because im really close with my two sisters and couldnt imagine it being any other way.
i personally think your sisters behaviour is shocking and in my opinion unaceptable i dont know the ins and outs of what happend between you guys but it seems to me like shes acting like this for no reason!?
if your sister doesnt stop and realise the damage she is doing to her relationship with you and the rest of your family soon its going to be too late..and she will regret it in the long run trust me.
what you need to do is somehow get her to agree to meet up with you where you can talk about everything that happend and try to sort things out tell her at the end of the day your sisters and you dont want to loose that.
i cant believe she didnt ask you to be bridesmaids..i wouldnt worry about getting her too upset because from what i can see shes already made you extremely upset and doesnt seem to batt an eyelid about it.
im sorry if i come accross like im judging your sister im not im just interpritating the situation.
dont worry about coming across as someone who dwells on the past thats not a bad thing you just want to put things right you two have missed out on so much all ready explain to her you want to be part of her life again.
and at the end of all that if she still wont listen at least you know that you have tried and she just isnt worth the time anymore but you wont know unless you try she could feel the same as you but is scared.

Im a 16 year old female. So ive been dating this guy for a littl while now and i really like him. We havent been on many dates but we are in the same pe class and we hang out at school all the time. We have only offically dating for a like 5 days but for the last few weeks we have been hanging out and kindof un-officially dating. My mom says i should not kiss him for a little while longer, but i really like him and if he tries to kiss me i dont think i will stop him. Should i wait longer or should i kiss him?
I think you should defenately go for it and kiss him..its not like hes a complete randomer that you dont know and just kiss at a night club or disco or anything you like him and youve been hanging out and going on dates i dont see what the harm in kissing him now would be =] but only kissing like i wouldnt do anything further with him until youve known him alot longer. so in my opinion yea go for it good luck =]
I love the myspace colors (light blue and orange and dark blue) but I dont like the set up. Awhile back, I saw a completely different styled layout that still had the colors. But I cant find any now. Im not talking about just like default layouts. Anyone know where I can find one?

i have been dating this boy now for two years my parents recently informed me that they dont like him and i am no longer allowed to see him i love this boy with all my heart and if i just leave him like this because of my parents he would be tottaly devistated becuase he always talks about being together forever and things like that what should i do
Okay that is totally unfair of your parents to tell you only now after two years?! you need to sit down and talk with them and ask them why they have a problem with him..and listen to them they are your parents and they are probably just concerned for you. take into account what they say and if their reasons for not liking him are totally un acceptable explain to them that you love him and that you know yourself he is a good person and would never hurt you and that you are not prepared to leave him just because they have issues and that they are going to have to accept him if they want you to be anyway happy=] i hope that helps hope all works out for you too. good luck!

Okay the first thing i think you should do is tell your friend how you feel about this guy so she will stop flirting with him. in fact she shouldnt be flirting with him anyway whether she knows you like him or not because she has a boyfriend. then you need to go for it with the guy and tell him how you feel =] youve got nothing to loose and a whole lot to gain.

ok so,...i shave all my pubic hair off. like with a razor, i get it ALL. and the day i shave it, and the day after, its pretty smoothe. but then it gets all prickly but i have to wait at least 4 days before i shave it again, or else it cuts the skin because the hair is waaayy too short.
is there an easier way to do this? am i making too big of a deal out of it?
you could try waxing though its extremely painful and isnt goo for those with a poor tolerence for pain.
but it defenatly leaves it smoother and suppler for longer without prickly hairs and stuble.
or risk of ingrown hairs and itchiness rashes bumps etc.

im a girl and im 16 and i wanna try to lose some weight and get more toned but i dont really know where to start. i love to run but my doctor say that i shouldnt run because i have a knee problem. so i was thinking yoga an palaties because i have heard great things about them but i dont really know what they are. what schold i do??
I agree with the eating right that always helps.
if youve got a sweet tooth though it can be quite difficult so just cut back increase more water fruit and veg fibre etc. sounds boring but it doesnt have to be if you have smoothies and fruit salads and try different things.
then to the excercise part yoga is good way to tone up,its basicly just different stretches and poses! but it really helps.
(if you have a wii,you could get wii fit! its excellant for yoga and it has alot of muscle excercise too its not too intesne either you can pick beginer options and work your way up)
you could try hip hop dancing its a quick way too if your knee doesnt get in the way.
powerwalking,jogging cycling. different sports activitys in general depending on what your knee limits you to do i dont know =]

I was supposed to go to my friend's sweet 16 this past weekend at some hotel. Well I wound up not going because I got mad sick. So I get to school today and my friend, who was at my bffs sweet 16, told me that my bff [the one who turned 16] invited 5 guys up to the suite. I don't know how many guys actually went to the suite but my bff gave this guy who is 17 a head. this was her first bj she ever gave a guy and then he fingered her and she had freaking butt sex with him. WTF. and she didn't even tell me, I had to hear it from my friend. my bff hasnt even ever had normal sex and now shes not even a virgin [because sex is sex] and she did this with a guy she JUST MET and omg i think its so wrong. her first time was up the butt. I don't know what to do, I want to talk to her about it, but my friend said I can't mention anything to her because she said that everyone in the suite heard it and said it was sooooo gross. I'm actually pretty pissed at her, do I have a right to be? and i'm also worried that she's heading down the wrong path because she had to get her stomach pumped over the summer and she got high alotttt. ive never had a drink in my life, and ive never done any drugs whatsoever, i hate what it does to people. I think you do have a right to be a little mad at her but at the same time you shouldnt jump to conclusions before you know the actual facts.
You definatly need to talk to her because the stuff shes doing isnt good shes lowering her self estem if its true.

you should tell her what you heard and say something like "look ive heard some stuff about what you did at your 16th and im not accusing you of anything i just want to find out what happend from you because your supposed to be my best friend and why you wouldnt you tell me?"
then if she confirms it you should tell her exactly what you think of it tell her your worried and that your not trying to be controling you only have her best interest at heart and that you care about her.ask her why she feels the need to act like this.

Heya I would agree with most of the other posts dont be worried this is probably just a period show.
which is sort of like your body preparing you for whats gonna happen.
in simple terms it means your period its on its way and your most likely to start it soon.
but sometimes you might get a show and then not actually start your full period until a few months later talk to your mum or if its too embarassing an older sister (thats what i did)
