im a girl and im 16 and i wanna try to lose some weight and get more toned but i dont really know where to start. i love to run but my doctor say that i shouldnt run because i have a knee problem. so i was thinking yoga an palaties because i have heard great things about them but i dont really know what they are. what schold i do??
then to the excercise part yoga is good way to tone up,its basicly just different stretches and poses! but it really helps.
(if you have a wii,you could get wii fit! its excellant for yoga and it has alot of muscle excercise too its not too intesne either you can pick beginer options and work your way up)
you could try hip hop dancing its a quick way too if your knee doesnt get in the way.
powerwalking, jogging cycling. different sports activitys in general depending on what your knee limits you to do i dont know =]

Eatting right doesn't do it alone though, palaties will keep you toned also you won't be flabby when you lose weight from eatting right.
Yoga is more of stretching and relaxation of the mind and body blah blah blah
for weight loss at 16, palaties are the way to go. [ esoccer1717's advice column | Ask esoccer1717 A Question ]
