That is your period. When you first start the first day it is like that. It is normal and you have nothing to worry about. Most people start their period when they are in their preteens (12-14 years old.) You need to get some pads or tampons.

Heya I would agree with most of the other posts dont be worried this is probably just a period show.
which is sort of like your body preparing you for whats gonna happen.
in simple terms it means your period its on its way and your most likely to start it soon.
but sometimes you might get a show and then not actually start your full period until a few months later talk to your mum or if its too embarassing an older sister (thats what i did)
Good luck =]

this is definately the start of your period. get a few pads, and maybe some tampons, although i wouldn't recommend tampons at this age or so soon, but some people like them better. anyways. it'll be brown discharge for the first day or two, and then it'll start becoming red and more of a flow. make sure you have pads ! if you have any other questions about your period, just ask your mom or any other older women in your household. you should tell your mom though. and start marking the first day you get your period on a calendar, to check consistency of your period. good luck !

I think it is probably the start of your period. In the beginning, it can come for a few days, then go away for a few months. Don't be embarrassed! Every woman gets her period. Check in the bathroom to see if there are any pads, and if there are none you might want to make a trip to the store. You would be surprised-nobody will have any idea you have a pad on. The ones with wings protect your underwear the best.

i would say so.

if not then it could be that your hymen could of broke. you dont have to be sexually active for it to break you could have done something as simple as hitting the bar on your bike when you fell off or something like that. or even jumping from the high dive in the pool.

you can also tell if its your period if the blood keeps coming, if its just once then its not your period. your first period normally doesnt give you cramps, but other things might be weird like if your breast kinda hurt to touch, like they are tender or sometimes its even in your armpits (i know thats weird but it is what it is) or even the small of your back kinda hurts.

hope i helped!
