do bellybutton piercings hurt?
im getting mine done tomorrow and can use all the advice i can get.
you can compare it to ear cartiledge and ear lobes, because i have them done.

the pain really depends on you. personally, i didn't think it hurt at all. it was about the same as my ear piercings(lobes). you just have to remember to breathe, because if you don't, it could cause you to pass out. other than that, i wouldn't really worry too much about it.

My friend and I were talking about old fad games and toys we used to play (marbles, pogs, pokemon cards, nanos, etc.)
There was one thing we COULD NOT remember the name of to save the life of us! I googled it, tried looking for them on ebay, nothing.
They were little plastic monsters. They came in all different shapes and had different faces. There were a bunch of them and they came in different colors as well. They could fit in the palm of your hand, they were pretty small. You would get a bunch of them and compete against people and to do so (I didn't play so don't quote me on this) and you would like throw them down and depending on how they landed, you would get points for them (& perhaps keep the other guys monster?). They were somewhat big when I was in jr. high. These didn't last too long, it was something that left as fast as they came. I didn't play but I had like 3 that once came in a ceral box. I'm looking to get a piercing in my left ear, as I've gotten bored of the traditional one lobe piercing :P .
However, I'm not really sure WHICH piercing to get, and I don't know which one would suit my ear the best... I had my eye on the rook, and I still do, but I want to ask other people's opinions as to what they think, you might be able to reveal another piercing to me that would look a lot better :) .

i don't think it should matter if others like a piercing of yours as long as you do, but thats just personal opinion. you should try to get some kind of clip on to test how the piercing will look and decide if you like it before you take anyone else's consideration in about what kind of semi-permanent thing to do to your own body.
i personally, like the industrial&helix piercings. for some reason all those inner ear things bother me. haha. but then again, it's up to you.

there's a shampoo i know of called mane n' tail that you can find at most beauty salons that helps a little. my friends who are tahitian(which is like hula) dancers use it to grow their hair out long, and they all have really long hair. also, proteins will help your hair grow faster, and you should trim your hair every two weeks or so, that'll also make it grow faster. hope i helped.(: &goodluckk.

Ok, so my eyes change colors in shades of brown. They're either a very dark brown, almost (if not) black, a medium brown, or a very light, golden, almost honey shade.
I'm not sure if that means I have a shade other than brown, haha.
But why does this happen?
Oh, and my eyes don't match. I have like a squiggly line that looks like a river in my right eye and a dot that looks like the sun in my other.
Why is that?

you're eyes are really pretty ! i believe they're actually a hazel color. i might not be right, but it looks like they have this green outer ring in one of the pictures where you're outside. that would mean they're hazel, so they change between browns and greens. that's how my friends eyes are, and she says theyre hazel. anyways. your eyes are really pretty ! &i hope this helped. lol.

okay, so I am a 17 year old girl and a virgin. I've been in two relationships, only one of which I made out with the guy. Whenever we talked about sex he said that the fact that I was a virgin attracted him. I don't understand why he would say that. all guys like virgin's better. first off, because virign's are tighter, in reference to the vagina. this makes it feel better for the guy. nice guys will like being with a virgin because it's an honor, the girl choosing to have their first time with that guy. a jerk will take pride in it, and think they're cool because they popped your cherry. either way, virgins are "clean" so to speak. guys like the fact that they can keep their legs closed.

I just turned 16 and for my birthday I want to go away to a warm place that allows 16 year olds to drink. So basically, a beach that is very lenient with alcohol. Any tips for resorts would be great too! Thanks!

any beaches in mexico are pretty lenient. also, most of south africa is pretty lenient with alcohol as well. hope this helps ! and have fun !

ok so... i'm not like a perfect kid or anything but I'm not a bad one either. I'm 18 years old and I don't drink, do drugs, have sex, nothing. I never have and I don't plan on it. My 15 year old sister on the other hand has been mixed up in just about everything. She even got a tattoo and tried hiding it forever. My mom used to get on her so hard when she knew she was getting high and stuff. It took a huge turn at some point and I just don't know where. She keeps everything about my sister from my dad and it makes me so frustrated. My sister has this 19 year old boyfriend we'll call Dustin. Dustin in 19 years old and a loser. He doesn't have a job or anything. My sister would say she was staying and then go to his house instead.. at first my mom cared and then she just like stopped. she would tell me and my dad she was at her friends when I knew the truth... and thennnn she had the audacity to let him stay here at our house. Well... about 2 weeks later guess who's pregnant.. yep.. my sister. They think they're ready to "have a family".. how can they have a family when neither one has a job or any source of support besides my parents. Dustin is in and out of jail and it disgusts me. My dad goes to sleep every night at about 8:30 and around 945 or so my mom goes to get her from Dustins and guess who has been coming with her every single night?! I know it shouldn't be my problem but it is. I don't feel comfortable in my own house an I get so stressed from having to keep it from my dad. Whenever I try to tell my mom how I feel it turns into how "I think i'm so perfect and how I build off of her screw ups" My mom always makes it sound like i'm a bad kid and i'm tired of it. I am such a good kid compared to her.. and not because I want to be better than her, it's because I respect myself...... please help me, I would appreicate it so much . (link)

i know how you feel. i've been in a quite similar situation with my sister. i've learned that trying to break them up will NOT work. honestly, it'll probably drive them closer together, because they'll have a mutual feeling of hate toward you and whoever else is putting down their relationship. let them make their own mistakes, but don't make any of your own. there are two ways you can approach this:
1) tell your dad. although this would probably be the best approach, the outcome may not be what you expect. on one hand, he'll know, and you won't have to lie. he might be able to save the family, and all that, you know, the typical, hero story, the family will be all better. BUT on the other hand, you speaking out now just might tear your family apart. yes, you're telling your dad, but how long have you been hiding this ? how long have you been keeping this a secret from him ? what will he say when he finds out your mom has been lying ? when he finds out that your sister is pregnant ? will your parents fight ? will he leave ? will your mom and sister hate you forever for ratting them out ? you need to think of all these questions before you decide to tell him and you need to decide whether or not it's really worth it.
2) the second solution is to just ignore the situation. you're 18 aren't you ? instead of making a huge deal and possibly destroying your family, there are other things you can do. are you currently going to college ? if so, why not live on campus in a dorm ? or think about transferring to a different college somewhere farther away, and if you can't afford to stay in a dorm, just see if you can move in with some other relatives close to a different college. you are old enough to be living on your own. try getting a job to support yourself. if you can't get a job that pays enough for you to have somewhere to stay, find some friends and split the cost of an apartment among yourselves, or even look for ads that are offering rooms for rent. this, essentially, would be running away from the problem, but some would definately choose this over the other choice. either that, or just live at home, and ignore it completely. just let your sister and mother make their mistakes, because that just might be the only way they'll learn.

there are a variety of different brushes that can be found at any make up store. it's best to ask someone that works there about which brush to use, however i personally have found that the angled brush works quite well.

it should even out over time, but EVERY girls' boobs are different sizes. trust. NO girl has two boobs that are the exact same size. it's probably not noticeable at all. especially if you just wear a size b bra. if you wear a smaller bra, one boob will look like it's in a push up while the other one is just normal, so you should wear a size b bra. and the only way to make you stop caring so much if just for you to STOP CARING. just don't think about it. it's completely normal, you just have to get over it.

it really depends on the brand. there's a certain brand, i believe it's ept or something like that, but it's the early pregnancy test. you should be able to take that two weeks after you had unprotected sex. just get a pregnancy test and read the instructions. if it says to take a pregnancy test five days before your first missed period, then do that. your period should be consistent, meaning it comes every 28 days, or around every 28 days. count about 23 days from the first day of your last period, and that's when you can take the pregnancy test. hope this helps. and good luck.

this is definately the start of your period. get a few pads, and maybe some tampons, although i wouldn't recommend tampons at this age or so soon, but some people like them better. anyways. it'll be brown discharge for the first day or two, and then it'll start becoming red and more of a flow. make sure you have pads ! if you have any other questions about your period, just ask your mom or any other older women in your household. you should tell your mom though. and start marking the first day you get your period on a calendar, to check consistency of your period. good luck !

I'm trying to think of the name of a American sitcom I used to like, it's about a family that has Mum, dad, 2 youngish boys, a daughter with red hair called Lilly, the dads brother, and grandpa.
The kids went to a school run by nuns.
At the begining of the show you'd find out something has happend, (for instance, The dad crashes the car) then the dad tell his story to the mum and it works backwards through the show until you find out how it all began.

the three c's. eat carrots, corn, and cheese. i've heard this works, and i've seen it work. hopefully, it works for you too. one of my friends was on a carrots, corn and cheese diet for a summer and her boobs grew two cup sizes. it might sound stupid, but i've seen the evidence. if it doesn't work, i still wouldn't worry about it, your boobs will grow with time too. you're not even 14, so don't stress about it, you don't even really need them yet. lol.

okay i dated this guy for 2 years and i was in love with him! he broke up with me at the end of his senior year (i was a sophmore) we would still talk for that month we were broken up but i was devastated. we would still talk since we would see eachother at school a lot and i know he still had feelings and i obviously still loved him but when summer started it was basically the end cause i knew id never see him again unless it was somewhere random or quinceidental. during the summer i really started moving on and i started getting over him i even started to like a boy which was extremely weird cause i never thought that would happen! anyways at the end of the summer as school was coming close he went to college and before he left he actually texted me telling me goodbye. it was the most confusing thing ever cause i didnt understand why would he text me? i ignored it and a couple days later he actually called me. we talked for over an hour and he told me how he really wanted to see me and what not. we kept talking for the next couple weeks and evntualy i went up to see him. obviously it made all my feelings come back. i visited him a couple more times, but every time i did.. it was like sooo much fun but then when i went home if i would call him or text him hed either not respond or just be like hi. ya. things like he didnt really care? i got fed up with this because i felt ilke he didnt actually care so i finaly brought up the whole situation and he didnt act like he cared he was like "ok" things like that so i just felt like i was wasiting my time so i told him i was done with his games. about 3 weeks later i heard he was going to be in town and that weekend he called me.. he wanted to hangout cause he was in town so i went to his house and we watchd a movie until he had to go to his buddys house. it was kind of awkward, but it felt good being there with him. he tried to have sex with me but i wouldnt beacuse i didnt want to get hurt cause when i had went to visit him at college we did and it ended up hurting me more cause we would have sex and he never would ask me back out or anything. i said i didnt want to get used because we probably werent going to get back together and he just laughed and was saying things like "what are you talking about" "who cares" "stop being gay" it was kind of disrespectful?? idk im so confused what do i do i want to be with him but its like i cant tell if he still has feelings for me or if hes just using me or i dont know how to talk to him about it because whenever i try to talk to him about how i feel hes just like "omg stop" ERRRG

ditch him. he's obviously using you if he doesn't even care about how you feel. i'm sorry that this is harsh, but sometimes you just need a wake up call. you got over him once before, you can get over him again. i'm tired of hearing stories like this about girls that fall in love, it's just so sad. don't be one of those girls that waits around her whole life for a boy to decide to care about her. you don't need him. there's plenty of other boys out there. find someone worth your time. he won't even listen to you. and he doesnt want to talk about your feelings. why ? because he's avoiding the situation where he has to tell you he doesn't like you and he doesn't care because then he knows you won't have sex with him. so stop lying to yourself and pretending he cares. he doesn't, and you're just wasting your own time. tell him it's over. get on with your life. find a boy that's not such a jerk. otherwise, you'll just end up getting hurt over and over again. trust me, i've been there.

wow. okay this is the weirdest thing i've ever heard of. and it can only be one of two reasons. number one, he's using you for sex, and he just doesn't want to kiss you. but i highly doubt that's the situation, because even most guys that use you for sex will start by kissing you. i don't see any other situation that can lead to sex.. but anyways. the other thing could that he's embarrassed or scared or something. maybe he has bad breath. or maybe he's not a good kisser, or something has happened that made him not want to kiss people. either way, you should probably just ask him about it, don't just start assuming things. just throwing out ideas. good luck and let me know when you find out why, this is interesting. haha.
