i had the old aim then updated it too the new aim and all of a sudden it says "connection failed" i just had it working untill i downloaded the new version. i already tried to restart my computer, what should i do? (link)

1, Make sure if you have a desktop the cable wire is connected properly to the back of the computer.
2, If you have a popup blocker you might want to try temporarly allow popups so the download can start.
3, Restart the computer
4, If you have wireless internet, Make sure you have the jack inserted properly

Things in life take us in weird places, Life is a lesson that is learned through many mistakes.
My firt relationship was great for the first few months, I was 17 and he was 19 he lived near the city and we both exsplored things couldn't of been better. Soon within the first year things started to change he became a different person and became abusive mentally and physcially towards me. I eventually realized in time that I needed to focus on myself, It wasn't meant to be and that there is someone out there who is waiting for me. As bad as it was with my first, I wouldn't take it back. I believe that it happened for a reason I became stronger, more independent upon myself and I met my fiance because I moved on. I believe things are a lesson, a challenge and in the long end it only makes you stronger.

I'm 21 and go to University the girl is the same. I've known a girl at my university for about 3 years. I have mixed feelings about her, and sometimes I wonder what it would be like if we were more then friends. I'm not sure if I should go for a romantic relationship, or if I should keep her as a friend. I'm positive that she likes me, and I know that she would probably have a relationship if I asked. I don't want to ruin a friendship though if things don't work out. I've gotten mixed reviews from friends of mine, some saying they don't understand why I don't go out with her, and others agree with me and say that since I've known her so long it might be better to just be friends. I was curious if anyone might have similar experience in this sort of situation, and could help me out. I think un-bias advice coming from someone that I don't know personally would help me. Any advice would be great.

If you ask out a friend, yet alone anyone. It is a risk you take. It's either meant to be nor not meant to be. Only you know your true feelings, If you feel that it is what you shall do to ask her out then let it lead its way, if not then you might miss out on something that could of been great. I've been in a simular situation infact that is how I ended up where I am now. My guy friend and I had feelings for each other and we gave it a shot we both cared for each other deeply and what do you know...I'm yet to be married in a few years. Heck, I'd say go for it! ;) I wish you all the best of luck!

what are some good, popular movies about the 1950's or set in the 1950's? i LOVE the '50's and wish i lived then but obviously can't so i love to watch movies that the time period is supposed to be then. but not like actual movies from then just movies about them, because i think the movies just about them make them look better and funner. If you used protection you should be fine, You are probably getting yourself all worked up because you are thinking so much about it you may be making yourself believe things. Just wait for your period you will be fine.

Ok so my boyfriend lives in Mexico, and I live in the USA, and he is coming to visit next summer for like three weeks. i am sixteen, and worried because it is his first visit here and he will stay in my families house, and it seems like it would just be really awkward the whole time, like with my parents around and everything, like I know my parents will understand that we need privacy and everything, but the fact that they know what we are doing just seems so awkward... Will it be as weird as I think, or am I overreacting? He and my parents get along fine, but I don't know... Any advice would be good (link)

I understand about the whole privacy thing and what they "think or know" you are doing. Best thing you really can do is get out of the house, Do fun things outdoors. At night when they are all in bed, Then you can have your privacy. I'm sure it won't be as bad as you think. I'm sure you're parents know you are nervous about him coming for 2 weeks, So for that reason alone I'm sure they won't try and put pressure on you. Just relax and have fun, Trust me I've had guys at my house before it's not all that bad. ;) It's quite fun actually!

hello everyone, my fiance' and I got engaged this past summer because we do love each other. He proposed on the beach, but ALL we do is fight. We've been fighting since last january on and off but now we don't even get along. I bought us our own house and we now live together. We always just get into fights and we always cry. I just want our relationship to be happy again. He says I always "bitch" constantly (but he never cleans up after himself and never gives me hardly any affection) He told me recently that the dog treats him better then I do and he hates living with me. I can admit I can be somewhat controlling but it just hurts me that I never get any affection. We're both stubborn and try talking to each other about how we feel but nothing ever changes. Please give me advice about how to make my engagement better before we get married (this april!) If you can't stand each other, Can't live together than why be together? Try talking to him about how it makes you feel that you two aren't connecting well, That you don't feel loved and you feel like you two are drifting apart. You two could be fighting alot because of stress, I'm not saying it's the reason why but sometimes couples fight when they stress out. Try taking some time apart (maybe a few hours a day) Sometimes that helps. Do something you both enjoy doing together, Get out more and have fun.

Xbox 360 is better
It last longer, It's built better, It's a DVD player, and a CD burner as well as better game graphics.
On the other hand,
Playstation 3,
It's also a DVD player, NOT a cd burner...
Cheaper, but more likely to break quicker than an Xbox

To start, my brother and I are extremely close, considering I'm his LITTLE sister (by 2 years) and he's sixteen. Our close relationship is the reason I am asking this, not because I'm being a nosy little sister.
Ok, My brother, sixteen, has a girlfriend who is seventeen. They claim to be "in love" and I have no doubt they love each other, but I don't know how long it will last once my brother knocks over the first dominoe by telling my parents.
My brother, recovering pot addict, bipolar, extremely OCD, and a little schitzophrenic has gone through quite a lot over the last 4 years or so. He's had his ups and downs, usually dragging the rest of our family (2 younger sisters age seven and eight, My dad, My mom, and me) down with him. He'll have these random angry moments where he slams doors, punches walls, gets out of a moving vehicle at a stop light, and pretty much breaks my moms heart. He always ends up just running out the door.
Recently, he's received his license. Scary, right? I'm afraid he'll just lose it one of these days and drive off and leave me here to help the rest of the family get through it. Well, a week before he got his license, my dad's girlfriend had to move back to Florida, because she was unable to sell her house and couldn't find anyone to move into it for her. Keep in mind, this woman is literally my dad's dream girl. They are absolutely in love, but hesitant to marry because they've both been cheated on by their "significant other".
Anyways, so she had to move back, and my brother started manipulating and bugging my parents to help him buy a car. I think this is very self-centered, but all he wants is a car. So that caused tension between my dad and my brother (they live together).
Now, on top of ALL of this that has happened, my brother goes and gets his girlfriend pregnant. Ok, I'm sure he didn't mean for her to get pregnant, but it happened, and neither of them want an abortion. Also, his girlfriend has been being sexually harrassed and repeatedly raped by her own father for the last 5 years.
My own father is completely against the idea of my brother and his girlfriend ever having sex, so as you can tell, if my brother tells him, my dad's going to rip his head off.
My brother is planning to tell my mom first because he absolutely hates her, but she is always trying to "connect" with him, so she is very leniant with him. He thinks that she'll help him out, but we really don't have the space or finances for a child! He's just not understanding the consequences of his mistakes!!!
I really don't know what to do! I know he's going to wait until he's off probation (about a month) to tell, so we only have a few more weeks of happiness left before the screaming and anger starts all over again. I don't think I can handle another one of these outbreaks, I really don't, but there's nowhere to go to hide from it all. While all of these outbreaks occur, I usually just hideout in my room for a few weeks, but I know that this one could last months! I don't think i'm ready for this mentally.
Please help, I don't know what to do! The fighting will go on between my mom and dad about what they should do about my brother, and between my brother and them. I can't handle it! Please help me! There's no escape from the constant despair lingering in our household! Any advice is accepted! (link)

Despite his age and his past problems, He needs to tell his Mom and Dad as they do deserve to know the truth. It's for his own benifiet, It's better for them to know now then to find out when the baby is born. If you are afraid of an outbreak then maybe you and your brother could sit down together and approach your parents that way. However, I'm still not garenteeing that they will not be upset. There is really nothing you can do but assure your brother that you will be there for him if he ever needs to talk. It was his mistake to make. Also, Try approaching your parents when they are in a "decent" mood as that might help some.

Cold cucumbers help any swelling/bags under the eyes. Try using cover up or fondation powder. NOT the liquid, The liquid is sticky and wet.

Stop talking to him, Cut complete contact. The first step towards moving on is realizing that you don't need him. Continue to focus on yourself and do what you need to do. It sounds to me that he is trying to put guilt on you by saying that he wants to ''die'' because you are no longer involved in his life. If you haven't already, Tell Josh that you feel you need to go your seperate way and continue to do what you need to do in life. Don't let him pressure you, make you feel guilty.

Years ago I watched American Idol season 2 when Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard was on it. Clay Aiken was really great and was very talented but, sadly, Ruben Studdard won.
Anyway, I know that Clay Aiken always said he was simply too busy to have a girlfriend, but he recently had a baby born, Parker. Parker Aiken was born August 8, 2008 at 8:08 a.m. so all of this is fairly recent news. Jaymes Foster is Parker's birth mother. Obviously Clay Aiken had enough time to have sex with a woman, right?
Well, I just assumed that Clay Aiken had started dating Jaymes Foster since they were having a baby together. My best friend informs me that she knows for a fact that Clay Aiken is gay and has recently came out to the public. She says that Clay Aiken said himself that he is homosexual very recently.

For so long I've been wanting a boyfriend. One of my friends always gets a boyfriend when she wants one. She is pretty and nice, she is smart. I'm different from other people in my group of friends. All of us are different. I'm kinda shy but I can be outgoing if I actually talk to a person more. But I've had 3 boyfriends which was like 2 years ago. Now I don't even think boys like me. Some have called me hot and all that but seriously. I think I will never get a boyfriend. Is is like weird to be thinking this? I know what most people will say. The right guy will come. But I want to at least know what its like to have a boyfriend since it was when I was in 7th grade I hardly remember anything. I don't think I'm really ugly and I'm not really skinny either. Is the reason my friend gets a boyfriend is because of the way she looks at acts? She is more of "emo" type girl but really pretty. I dress in brighter colors and I don't know. You are only 14 years old, You are still young. It's not about finding someone who is pretty, or hot. It's about finding someone you love, have something in common with and enjoy being around. As you probably know, At the age of fourteen most boys are not fully mature and are looking at what is attractive not the personality side. I know you probably feel like you are on the side lines but why be so eager to get a boyfriend? You have plenty of time to get one trust me it will happen. Who cares if you're friends all have boyfriends, Waiting for him to come will only make it more special for you when it happens. Just relax and have fun don't worry about it so much he will come around when you least exspect it. ;)
