There's no saying whether you "should" shave your hair or not. If you don't like having hair there, go ahead and remove it, either by shaving or other methods such as waxing.
Waxing can hurt more than shaving (shaving only hurts if you accidentally cut yourself), but hair takes longer to grow back.
Yes, do be aware that if you remove the hair, it will eventually grow back (unless you opt for a permanent removal method such as electrolysis, but those procedures are more invasive and also more expensive), so you'll have to keep doing it. Having stubble can be uncomfortable.
