I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

I have 15 tattoos, and 8 piercings. I'm married and just gave birth to a baby boy in May. I'm currently a SAHM so you can find me taking care of my son and binge-watching television while he naps.

Alright, so it seems that my boyfriend is not all sweet and stuff to me anymore when we talk, almost like he is distracted. I know that the 'honeymoon' phase is over but I still wanna feel like he misses me or appreciates me and he doesn't. Like I don't care if he calls me all the time but just since I don't see him much during the week I try to keep communication between us and he is just so short with me sometimse. What should I do?

Tell him how you feel. He probably doesn't realize he's doing it.

Okay, so you may have seen the question about a week ago, but I'll fill you in. I'm a 14/f and a freshman.

The guy I like is a senior, and we are 4 years and 3 months apart in age. I REALLY like him a lot. He's not that cute, but he's nice and funny, AND he's a gentlemen.

Thing is, he's in LOVE with my best friend! She's a sophomore. He's been in love with her since June and obsesses over her ALL OF THE TIME. It's almost quite literally all him and I talk about when we talk.

We don't talk often, but I had Katie tell him I like him. He said "it feels nice to be liked."

I have a feeling he will NEVER EVER like me back. What should I do? Give up? And if so, HOW?

alright so i gave my friend my myspace password. i dont go on it all that much anyways so i didnt care if she was on it or whatever. but i go on it today and read my sent messages and she has been messaging people left and right and flirting with them! its fucking ridiculous! like okay, i'm not really mad at my friend because she is just a sardonic bitch all the time and thinks shit like that is funny. i get it. i would think it was funny too. im more concerned with dealing with all these people later. what?? do i confront them? its so embarassing omg. :(

Wherever it says for you to write something, do it. Where it says "friendid" put your friend id. And put pictures where it says for you to put one. Also, put them where it says to place it. They're easy to use, just put the code in Word Pad & search for the spots where it wants you to write something.

You could buy a digital camera [if you don't have one already], or a cell phone, or some clothes.

I'm not planning on having sex the first time for a couple years or so atleast but I'm afraid I will end up regretting it later on. I'm just curious about the average age girls lose their virginity.

So basically I have three questions..

1. What age did you lose your virginity?

2. Do you regret it or are you happy with your choice?

3. What age do you suggest? (Please don't say when you're ready because obviously I'm going to wait until I'm ready but I'm talking like what's too young, etc.)

[2] Yeah. I kind of regret it. I mean, I'm not wih the guy now [we were when it happened], but I don't know.

[3] I suggest anything older than 17-18 years old. When you're anything under that, you're just not as ready as you think & then you end up regretting it.

Anything under 17-18 or older is too young.

One of my friends introduced me to a guy that goes to the school I might have to switch to next year. My best friend(who goes to that school) got us together after we had hit it off really well the first few times we saw each other. Before we broke up, we talkedto each other everyday. We talked about everything, too. When we broke up we still talked to each other everyday, but about a moth after that he got a new girl friend. I stopped calling him and didn't talk to him for about 1 month. When I was going out with him my best friend who htes him, tried to get me to break up with him saying "He's not a virgin, all he wants from you is sex, and I didn't really think he would actually ask you out." And now she swears it saying I would be a whore or something to get backwith him. Then just about a week ago he calledme, saying "I'm sorry for hurting you, I never really wanted to but it was a long distance relationship and I thought I actually liked her but all she wanted was sex, and I'm not giving that to her." And I believed him. When I told my friend she said he was just faking it and that he probably wanted the sex and she wouldn't give it to HIM. I've always believed my ex, and my friend, but i don't know who to belive now. And just the other day, his brother who is my freind, one of the best ones I know, was teasing me and him because we are virgins. Who do you think I should believe and should I ask him about it? and shout I not get involved with him, even though my friend would probably kill me, but sh'e sgoing out with someone I dislike and wish she wasn't going out with. And my other friends and I have talked about it and I agreed I wouldn't get back with him until I've talked it over with her, and him both, together. PLEASE HELP ME. Thank you for your help

Your friend is calling you a whore behind your back saying that you'd do ANYTHING to get back with him. Why would you believe someone who runs their mouth about you? It doesn't make sense. I would believe him. If you always could, and he hasn't done anything to break your trust in him, then you should take his word for it.

he hates it down there. my previous parakeet died before i got this one and the symptoms are sort of the same, the whole flying thing and the sitting at the bottom of the cage thing. i really dont want him to die. does anyone know what could be wrong or what i could do to help him???

What's wrong is that you have yet to take your bird to the vet. That could help him a ton. And if he does die, just remember that he was kinda old for a bird, and that it was his time to go.

You can always buy a new bird that'll love you just the same. =]

I hate my life nothing is going smooth I mean whenever something good happen it doesn't last. My family is all messed up my dad gets away with anything but doesn't like when me or my brother does. He is the kind of guy who likes to make people feel bad about themselves by constantly putting us down in one way or another. Mom doesn't do anything about it she just says to ignore him but it isn't easy because it does whenever he can. My brother dooesn't pull his weight around the house but still gets away with anything because he does good in school and is always doing things with his friends and he says the only thing I'm good for is buying things for us. Then there is me I do my share of things I have a job and on my days off do things around the house like I'm suppose to but whenever I want to keep something that means alot to me they try to make me feel like I don't deserve it even though I do everything for everyone else even when it doesn't make any cents because I always care about everybody no matter what they do to me what should I do because this has been going on for years and my family refuses to get professional help. What should I do? One other thing I have friends but they all moved except for a few.

Suicide is never the answer.

If you have a job, and do what you're supposed to, then things should be fine. Don't let anyone walk all over you, and put you down. Especially your father.

Just keep doing what you're supposed to, and get a counselor. You could be suffering from depression because of your father.

I'm about 5'3" and i weigh 86 pounds. I am not anorexic or bullemic, I eat a lot and eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday (unless i wake up late and miss breakfast) but I have a fast metabolism so it doesn't really do anything. I really want to be on the school gymnastics team but you have to be atleast 90-100 pounds. Does anybody have any helpful hints or advice that i could use to gain weight? Thanks so much!!

Eat lots of carbs [bread & pasta], and eat junk food. Or you could build muscle by exercise. It'll make you gain weight because muscle weighs more than fat.

Ok..soo i went out with my good guy friend the other day. We went to get some subway and we were just talking about relationships n stuff. He asked me if i had been kissed and my response was no. I have been kissed..but not a full on makeout session. Im 17/F. I dont really trust him that he wont tell neone. Im pretty sure he will go to his guys friends and tell them. Im so embarassed. No, there's nothing wrong with you. There are lots of people that haven't been kissed yet, and they're your age. Don't be discouraged. And if he tells his friends, then he's not a very good friend himself.

I'm doing an essay on Paul Revere and I'm pretty much done but there are three questions I can't answer:

How did Paul Revere change life in America?
How was he important to American culture?
How has he had a lasting influence on american life?

If anyone can answer any of these questions that would be great.

[1] Without him letting us know that the British were coming, we probably would've lost the Revolutionary War. So he's a huge part of America because without him, America might still be colonies today.

[2] It's basically the same as question one.

13/f. catholic death trap of a school. my life is so fucked up. my life is like the song shut up by blink 182. everything i hate everything but i love my friends. im so deppressed when im at home or anywhere without my friends i would kill myself without them. me and my bff were gona run away but it got messed up. i love black i just dont feel like myself in anything else. my parents are against everything i wear do and act. i just got in with all the gothic kids. my mom HATES all of them shes makin my life even more fucked up. i was in the preps but i started hating it so now im sooo deppressed. ive never had a bf and im madly in love with my bff hes a guy. but i cant have my best friend over cuz hes a guy and she found out i liked him he used to come over none of them can come over because their gothic. i can not cry i just cant not even when everyones been dieing. but im so deppressed. i only love my 5 bffs and one is a preppy guy who i love and he loves me like bf gf and hes been wearin alot of black lately so does that mean something like between us hes my bff and i want him to be my bf but i dont wana ruin being bffs. i hope it wasnt that confusing i have alot on my mind. please dont delete this question i really need help and i cant right it again. and its not just a phase.

I know exactly how you feel. I went through that phase when I was your age. I hated my parents, I hated my family, and I hated anyone who wasn't my friend. I hated "preps" who listened to the same music as me; and I hated dumb questions [still do]. I hated everything about everyone, and about myself.

So, you're definitely not alone. Life can be a handful sometimes, and it seems like running away, or suicide can be the only way out, or the only way to fix it. That's not true, and I learned that the hard way. I had both eating disorders [anorexia nervousa, and bulimia], and I had depression. I tried killing myself numerous times because I felt everyone hated me, and that my life wasn't going anywhere. I felt like I couldn't do anything right, and that nothing I did mattered. When I tried to commit suicide last April, the psychatrist at the hospital opened my eyes.

He told me that life didn't have to be what I was making it. If I gave people a chance, I could see that everyone wasn't what I thought they were. Yeah, some people were gonna be assholes, but when you learn that, then you can go back to hating them. But don't shut anybody out. Who knows? A person you don't like could end up being one of your best friends. But, that doctor saved my life, and so did my music, and my best friend.

My life is back on track, and it's taken me almost a year to do it. I go to school, my grades are good, I have a lot of friends. And my relationship with my family is better. They get on my nerves sometimes, but I don't hate them. I know it seems like they're against everything you do, wear & how you act, but they're not. They're just concerned & they don't understand you.

Anyways, to answer your questions:

[1] Yeah, it's bad to hate your family, and to not be able to stand anyone except your friends. Of course you're not gonna be able to stand certain people, but you have to be able to tolerate them. You don't have to like them, but don't let them phase you. You should always love your family though because they're always gonna be there for you. Your friends could turn and run from you at any moment & completely shut you out, but your family is always gonna love you & be there for you. It doesn't seem that way, but it's the truth.

[2] I know your parents are probably bugging you about things & it seems you can never get them off of your case, but you can. They're just concerned and the more you push them away, the more they're not gonna trust you, or let you do things. And the more they're gonna invade your privacy, or interfere. Just open up to them & let them know how you feel. They're your parents. They made you, so don't ever think that they're not gonna care. They're just concerned, and they've got every right to be. You're their daughter, and you even said your life was fucked up. They can help you.

[3] There's nothing bad about having your best friends over. Just ask your parents why they don't like your friends, and if they don't have a good reason, then maybe your parents should reevalaute themselves. But I see where they're coming from. Gothic kids tend to be depressed, and suicidal. And no parent wants their kids to think that those two things are okay. They're just concerned, but talk to them about it, and if they don't have a reason to not like your friends, then tell them that they obviously can't accept you, and that they need to be open & give people a chance.

[4] If you really like this guy, then ask him out. I realize you're not shy around guys, but maybe you've just never had someone make you feel the way he does. I'm not shy around guys either, but when it comes to a guy I like, I turn to Jello. Just write him a note or ask him to a movie or something. Or just ask him out. Say "I know you like me. You know I like you, let's be together. =)" And then see what happens.

Trust me, your life isn't as fucked up as you think. It'll get better if you give people/things a chance. Trust me. =]

One of my friends steals. Not from stores, but from us! (her friends) she wont admit it. She just recently stole my mac shadestick, and those arent that cheap. She will not confess to it and i KNOW she has it. She stole my friends iPod, and steals my other friends clothes a lot. I really want my shadestick back because its my fav one and i had it the morning before she came over then after she left it was gone. I dont know what to do to get her to confess? She also makes up a lot of lies and stuff .. what should i do?

Wait, she steals from you guys & you still hang out with her? What the hell is wrong with you? Do you guys enjoy her being a theif & stealing your things? You obviously do if you don't stop hanging out with her.

Anyways, ask if you can spend the night at her house. Find your things & take them back. And if that doesn't work, then punch her in the face, or tell her mother.

Ok, well, this year I'm doing softball for my school. & This is my 2nd year playing softball on a team. Well, plain and simple: I suck. And, just about everybody on the team notices. I feel like quitting, because I can hear all the comments everybody makes. I really want to do a sport, it just feels like I don't belong or something, because everybody else has done this sport for more then 3 years. This is fastpitch-and I'm not used to that AT ALL!!!!! There's 2 snobby seniors on the team, if that helps [I'm a freshman]....& Sure, I do have some friends...just about 3ish maybe? It sucks.

To sum it all up, I feel like quitting because I'm not really good...& I'm being made fun of.

So my questions are:
1) How do I get better?
2) Should I quit?
...Any other advice is welcomed.

Don't be discouraged because you're not any good. You made the team didn't you? You have to be some good, or else they wouldn't have even let you on there. And besides, you're not gonna be MVP your first year of the sport.

Just practice everything you need work on. Pitching, catching, batting? Everything. Just practice it all, and the more you practice, the better you get. Practice makes perfect. It's an overrated & cliche saying, but it's the truth. You're gonna hear that for the rest of your life, but it's always gonna be true.

Don't quit though. If you quit, they're gonna know they got to you, and that they're always gonna be able to hurt you. Keep playing softball, and keep practicing, and you'll be really good in no time. =) Don't let them get to you though. Because they probably weren't good at it their first year of the sport either. =]
