Okay, so the other day in class, My american government teacher showed us the Nokia N800. Well he said its a PDA (but since its made by Nokia, I thought it was a phone and would have to pay a monthly phone bill). But he said it was not.
Well, it has bluetooth and wi-fi connection. And I'm wondering, Is there any kind of billing of this product?
I'm a Junior and I need something for college (my parents will also be buying a Labtop), but a PDA might be better to bring to class (since its so small and everything).
But my teacher also said, its just a PDA with wi-fi, but before I think about buying this product (which hopefully I will be buying in the next couple of months), I need to know the details from the consumers of this product.

wifi is a way of connecting wirelessly to the internet. most colleges have free wifi for their students. basically, wifi itself doesnt cost anything, but you might be connecting to a host that does, for example, most malls have wifi connections where the first screen you go to asks you to put in your credit card. you can also buy a wireless modem for about $40 that you connect between your regular modem and your computer, and it puts out a wifi signal that you can connect to.
from what i could discern online, it is not a phone at all, so there would not be a monthly fee for anything.

I just found out today that I have genital herpes. I'm only 15, and it was my second time having sex with the same person. Don't tell me I'm too young or whatever. I know I was ready, and we've been together for a really long time. I'm really scared though. I'm having a hard time like, dealing with it. He thought he didn't have anything, but, I guess he did. I wasn't his first, but he was mine. My mom thinks he cheated on me, because, both her and my doctor said if he had it before the second time we had sex, I would've most likely gotten it sooner. What do you guys think? I'm so scared. Please help. I also just need ideas to help me cope with this. Wow. Who thought just one stupid mistake could mess my life up forever? (link)

well firstly, herpes can be spread through just skin to skin contact, as in from pubus to pubus, which the condom doesnt cover.
secodnly, herpes symptoms can take up to a month to manifest, sometimes longer. i dont know if that tells you anything about whether or not he cheated on you. also, its less common to pass it on if you are not having an outbreak (though still very possible) so its possible he only gave it to you the second time.
thirdly, nearly 80% of americans have some form of herpes.

About 4 days ago my computer started acting funny. I turned it on and started getting weird pop ups saying that somene was trying to attack my computer or something and infect it with.... a virus or something. Some pop ups say that Windows blocked the virus and some say that I have the virus and have to remove it. The weird thing is I think these pop ups are PART of the virus. It says... Virus Name: Worm.Win32.NetBooster2 Path: C:/Windos/system32/qappsrv.exe
i couldn't find the path in my computer so i think the pop pup has that path name to make itself sem believable because i do have a system32 folder.
Anyway... I'm not sure how we got the virus. We don't go to dirty websites... We have an anti virus or scanner or... well I am not sure what it is. It scans and is supposed to remove threats but it is very crappy. I think it's a pirated version of an anti scanner. it doesn't work well but I know it's not the CAUSE of the virus because we've had it for some time. At first it detected the virus but not anymore :-(
Anyway, I don't care how we got it. I just want to get rid of it already because I can't even use the computer. It makes my homepage a.... virus isolator page and keeps sending me op ups, even when I'm offline!
My friend said it was a bug cause he had one too and that he fixed it by finding the bug and stopping it,. I couldn't find it. And I tried going to the "task manager" but it is disabled and no way to enable it...
I was wondering, has anyone ever had this virus/bug or know anything about it? if yes, how did you get rid of it?
does anyone know of a free anti virus or virus scna i can load or anyway to get rid of this bug???

Of course... it would be just like transferring any other files... just get a blank CD assuming your computer has a CD burner, or get a flash drive and move the files over

I'm 21 and I've been in a relationship for about three and a half years. My boyfriend and I met my freshman year of college, starting out as very good friends, and then we started dating and developed a relationship. We both have changed a lot during the last few years and have gone through periods of fighting but have been able to still make our relationship work. We are very much in love and have always been devoted to each other. I have a problem, though. I never ever thought this would happen to me..I never understood how someone could develop feelings for another guy/girl while in a relationship. but here is my dilemma. Theres a guy who has become one of my closest friends and I've discovered that I have feelings for him that go beyond friendship. I first began to feel this way several months ago, but I eventually got past the feelings for the most part. More recently, the feelings have come back stronger than ever. I have dreams about he and I being together and think about him all the time. I'll even feel jealous when he sees another girl(and usually I am not a jealous person about anything!) He is also a good friend of my boyfriend, which makes the situation even worse. Strangely, I still feel in love with my boyfriend. I really do love him very much. I feel like a horrible girlfriend and a horrible person in general that I'm feeling this way. I have no idea what to do. I'd really appreciate advice from you because I feel that I can't even talk to my best friends about this because they know and love the guy I've been dating for so long. I want to be with my boyfriend but I don't think its fair or right for me to be having these feelings about someone else...I just want these feelings to go away but they won't! please, i'd really appreciate any advice you could give. i know this is a really difficult situation but i really need help. thank you so much for your time and advice!

ok firstly, cheating is something you do with your hands, not with your eyes, and definitely not with your mind. it is perfectly normal to occasionally be attracted to, or even have actual romantic feelings for someone other than your significant other. do you really think that your boyfriend never looks at another girl? chances are he does, but its nothing serious, its just the way people are. you two have been together for over 3 years, so its obviously something really special. id say do nothing, and just wait for the feelings to fade. although, if it gets to the point where you feel that you love this other guy more than your boyfriend, then you might have to do something about it, because at that point, it would be unfair to your boyfriend.

chances are high enough for you to need to go buy a pregnancy test and take it. any time a penis is within a foot away from a vagina there is a chance of pregnancy. ok thats an exaggeration, but precum is pretty hard to notice, and pulling out doesnt work either. then there is that whole STD issue. you really should be using protection.

ook so. my computer has been fine. but today i got on here and every so often like 3 pop up websites saying my computer could have spyware and blah blah would come up but its those advertisment kind that want you to buy the product. also my desktop background is changed to say the same thing. i went to control panel & the programs and deleted anything that looked unusual. but if its a virus i dont know how i got it bc the only websites i use are myspace, advicenators, and then like shopping/school stuff and im the only one thats uses this computer. also music on myspace/itunes wont play anymore and neither will videos. it says its playing but it just sits and 0:00. WTF is going on !? it's only been doing this since this morning and i dont really have the money to get this computer wiped out/fixed ! (link)

well if you got your license you kinda should know these rules...
you need someone over 25 in the passenger seat with you in order to drive anyone under 18 for the first 6 months. at least thats what it was when i got my license.

alright... so why do we call black people(which is what i call them) "african american". now i understand the whole. i was born in africa. i now have a citizenship. they would be an african...american.... so why is it even if their parents and grand parents and great grandparents were alll born here.. we still call them african americans??.... i mean.. to me it slightly offends me (although it probbaly shouldnt being im white).. it just seems like we have a seperate name for them.. like their not fully american. can someone jsut help me out with this... it just seems like we seperate them out when i dotn see people saying "oh shes an irish american" or anything like that.. so.. anything that would help thank you (link)

well in some states, its perfectly accepted to date your first cousin. so your great great great grand parents were the same, so what? at that point, you are probably no more genetically similar to him than you are to me, theres really no problem with it.

I got all four of my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday, and it was all good then. I was numb all day and was not tired. I took my medication last nigh; antibiotic, pain killer, and some other pill they give me to take. Now my mouth hurts SO bad, it hurts to swallow. What can I do to stop the hurting?

when i had my wisdom teeth taken out, i was in a lot of pain too, basically all you can do is take the pain meds as often as you are allowed to. the pain is bad, but it doesnt last long.

well its true with cingular/att most likely true with all companies, you can check your account on the site, and it will tell you if you are eligible, or you can call and ask, if they say no, you can ask for an exception upgrade, and they might give you a new phone anyway

the average person needs 2000 calories a day, this can be adjusted depending on your activity level, if you are super active youll need more, but shouldnt be taking in much less.
